FYAFY Bidiyah Bedouin Camp

I loved everything about this property, especially the fact that the number of tents is limited and they are very spaced apart so it feels like you have the whole desert for yourself. Amer was the nicest most helpful host, he gave us a lot of tips about what to be mindful of when reaching the meeting point, he deflated our tyres and told us where to re-inflate them and was generally very proactive when communicating and asking about our preferences. The location was right inside the dunes where we could enjoy a beatiful sunset and an amazing, plentiful dinner in the company of other guests. The tent itself was big and cosy, with a very comfortable bed (and spare mattresses to put outside to watch stars or sunrise), clean and functional. Highly recommended experience

Nothing at all was out of place. We are dreaming of going back and enjoy another night in the desert as soon as possible. This note has nothing to do with the property but we were stopped or accosted multiple times by cars on our way to the meeting point trying to sell us "guide services", which is something the host warned us about (thankfully - otherwise we might have stopped)

Alles war perfekt arrangiert. Das Camp liegt fernab von allen anderen, man hat wirklich Ruhe und kaum Lichtverschmutzung, sogar fließendes Wasser und Strom/Steckdosen. Man kann Zusatzaktivitäten buchen (zB Kamelreiten). Für das dazu buchbare Abendessen gibt es gegrilltes Fleisch/Gemüse und Oman Spezialitäten. Die Zimmer sind groß, man hat viel Privatsphäre und sieht sogar den Sonnenaufgang direkt vom Zimmer aus. Auch das Frühstück war perfekt.

Tolle, saubere Unterkunft im Herzen der Wüste. Gutes Abendessen und Frühstück. Unvergessliche Nacht in der Wüste verbracht.

Das Camp hat eine sehr schöne Lage, und liegt entfernt von anderen, deutlich größeren Camps. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Wüste. Die Versorgung und der Service sind hervorragend. Amer ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und herzlicher Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und können das Camp wärmstens empfehlen.

TOUT! Emplacement exceptionnel, nous étions seuls au monde. Les tentes et l’ensemble du camp sont extrêmement confortables (lits, sdb, etc…) et décorés avec beaucoup de goût Les activités proposées nous ont beaucoup plu (parents comme enfants, nous étions en famille) Amer est un hôte très professionnel, très attentionné et très disponible. Les repas sont préparés avec soin et sont délicieux. Une expérience magique. Nous avions hésité à passer 1 ou 2 nuits dans ce camp, je recommande 2 nuits pour avoir le temps de prendre toute la mesure de l’endroit.

Kleinschalig, persoonlijk, letterlijk midden in Wahiba Sands want waar we ook kijken: alleen maar woestijn. De 3 authentieke tenten zijn zeer comfortabel ingericht met de mogelijkheid om op eigen terras buiten onder de sterren te slapen. Zowel diner als ontbijt zijn voortreffelijk, de gemeenschappelijke tent biedt versnaperingen en een lekkere plek om te loungen. We hadden het niet beter kunnen treffen. Ook dune bashing en Camel ride van harte aanbevolen!

The camp is on an upper side of the desert, so you can enjoy an amazing view. There are only 3 tents so it’s really a great way to experience the desert and its silence Amer is a fantastic host, everything was perfect! Thank you!

Amer and his team were the perfect hosts. We were picked up at the meeting point and to us it was already so exciting to drive ourselves into the desert! The camp itself is beautiful and intimate with three rooms / tents and one main tent for dinner and breakfast. Amer also organised a sunset camel ride for us, which was perfect! Also we need to highlight the great dinner and breakfast!

L’endroit magique du camp La gentillesse, la disponibilité et la bienveillance de notre hôte Amer qui était extraordinaire! L’endroit des tentes est un peu à l’écart, du coup on s’est senti seuls au monde! Un dîner exceptionnel tout comme le petit déjeuner! Des rencontres et des partages géniaux avec des voyageurs hollandais et italiens qui partageaient la même soirée dans les tentes d à côté! La tente est super équipée et on ne manque de rien! Tout est parfait Merci Amer pour cette expérience qui restera inoubliable

营地很私密，只有三个帐篷，但设施周全，服务也很周到，营地主人带我们冲沙，准备了丰盛的烧烤晚餐。我们去的当天风有点大，晚上营地服务人员会重新打扫房间。夜晚没有什么光污染，正值新月，可以看满天繁星。非常原生态的住宿选择。

The camp was beautiful and we had a great time. Amer is an amazing and very attentive host! The food was delicious and there were vegetarian options as well. The communication and pick-up also went well. Would recommend!

Tremendous stay, prefect location, you can really feel alone in the middle of the desert, and the host- Amar was of great kindness and availability. On top of this the dinner was just great. It was an excellent stay for our family. I cannot recommend it more strongly.

Our expectations were clearly exceeded. We truly appreciated the authentic feel of the small camp—both in size and style—and were impressed by how comfortable the entire stay was, including a great room, delicious dinner and breakfast, and more. The host was also very friendly, helpful, and communicative, and even organized a sunset camel tour for us.

Really peaceful, secluded and comfortable with everything you need for a night in the desert - including water and solar electricity. Amer was very helpful and attentive and we felt very looked after. Also amazing stars at night!

Great hospitality and beautiful dinner. Only 3 camps at this property and no other neighbours nearby. Beautiful spot for both sunrise and sunset. Easy pickup from Bidiyah if you dont have a 4WD

Silence (electricity but no noisy generator). Small (only 3 tents). Secluded. Beautiful fine sand in that part of the desert. Personal service from the owner/operator.

We stayed at FYAFY camp for 1 night and we absolutely loved our stay there! Amer was such a great host and we really felt welcomed, we would definitely stay there again. The camp is at the top of a valley, so you can get incredible sunset views and sunrise from your bed. It's only 3 tents and it feels very intimate and private. Dinner and breakfast were great and there is complimentary drinks and snacks when you arrive. Despite being in the desert, the room feels luxurious and spacious. We slept in one of the comfiest beds of our Oman trip. We had 5G connection on our phones and there's also power plugs and lights inside the tent. Each tent has its own bathroom including a shower and toiletries - it's small but more than enough for 1 night

It's not a negative thing but you need to be aware of extra costs. Dinner is 5 OMR extra per person and we paid 20 OMR extra (2 people) to get to the camp. If you have a 4x4 you would follow Amer's car and drive yourself into the dessert.

We really enjoyed our stay at this camp. The setting is beautiful and the Bedouin-style tents constructed on platforms are spacious, comfortable and clean, with en-suite toilets that flush and shower. The dune bashing activity was lots of fun – our driver was super skilful - and we watched the sun go down from the top of the dunes. Dinner was really good and there was a veggie option. In the morning, we watched the sun rise from our tents and it was amazing to see the tracks of the animals and insects that had been out in the night. The camp is very well thought-out and Amer our host is very hospitable - we really enjoyed talking to him over the camp fire. It was easy getting to the camp in our 4 x 4 (following Amer’s car). In summary – perfect!

The location is fantastic, a totally unobstructed view at sunset and sunrise which was stunning. The facilities are new and super clean, very comfortable beds and nice deck areas to sit out. Amer and the staff are lovely and friendly. The food was delicious and nicely presented. This is now our go-to desert camp!

Everything was great, but for information be aware that the shower is solar so cold in the mormings and there isn't aircon/fans yet (we found it fine by having the door a little open and the bathroom window open to create a through-breeze). Didn't impact us at all though!

I had an amazing 2 nights at the camp, which I chose for my birthday. Amer was a great host and made sure I had everything I needed and helped me to celebrate my birthday too! The camp is really peaceful and away from everything else, so I personally enjoyed that. The food was great and the sunrise from your tent is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little camp, only 3 tents, a good distance into the dunes. Layout of the camp is very clever and you do feel all alone when looking out of the tent, lots of privacy. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom is v modern with soaps etc. Note the shower is cold (as you would expect!) Dinner and breakfast was great. We did dune bashing which was lots of fun. It's pretty easy to drive in a 4WD to the camp, and fun too.

Amazing place and scenery! You feel part of the beautiful, quiet and peaceful desert. The small scale of the camp makes it very personal, one of the main reasons I chose this camp. Camp is beautiful and set up with nice eye for detail. The tents are very comfortable and equipped with all comforts. Home cooked dinner and breakfast were delicious. Easy to reach with a decent 4x4. In my opinion a much more true experience of the desert compared to the larger camps….! Thanks Amer!

This is an incredible private desert camp! With only three tents, it offers breathtaking views of the desert. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. Amer is perfectly responsive, accommodating, and truly kind. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is nothing short of magical. You truly feel immersed in solitude within an authentic desert camp experience.

This small Camp has only 3 tents and is super quiet and cozy. The bed is extremly comfy, I haven't sleped this good as in our tent in a Long Time. The perfect spot for sunset watching and star gazing as it is located far from other Camps on a super high dune. Everything was brand new and just perfect, this was an absolute Highlight of our Oman Trip.

We loved it! It was a wonderful experience staying at a new camp that has been designed with lots of love for detail and quality. It’s very peaceful and quiet, the tents are beautiful and comfortable, food is awesome and Amer is such a great host. The place is running on solar energy and feels well integrated with the environment and landscape.

Camping in the desert turned out to be an amazing experience! Everything was brand new and the hospitality was top-notch. The food was delicious, and the tents were surprisingly well-equipped and comfortable. It felt like a perfect blend of adventure and comfort. The location is great - far from other camps and village. During the stay you can feel like you are the only people on the desert. The tents are well equipped, spacious with the balcony. The host is helpful and do everything you feel well. And the breakfast is amazing - better then we had in hotel. This camp is deffinitely worth 10!

We had a very lovely stay and enjoyed the desert . Especially the quiet time under the stars was amazing. The tent had every comfort needed. Everything was brand new and neet. Our breakfast while watching the sunrise in the desert was priceless. Amer was very friendly and experienced guide. This place is definetly worth visiting!
