Great views, clean, comfortable and friendly hosts

Visited here a couple of times. Stay is peaceful and relaxed. Plus point it’s a pet friendly place my babies had a bang here. Host is very friendly and the food is amazing.

WindmillInn is exceptionally beautiful place, it's located amongst the highest peaks of Shivalik ranges of the Himalayas, full far away views from the top of the mountain, easy accessible parking inside and great Hosts. The food is great, the rooms are nice and clean, full value for the money with the views from any corner of the place. They have a beautiful Cafeteria and chill zone, plus an outside garden lawn with great winter sun and Swings outside, i recommend to go and explore and forests and hikes around.

The location of the property in the midst of hills affords amazing views of sunrise and sunset. The property provides food on request and the food is of good quality.

The only minus point is that one has to travel 40 minutes to an hour from Solan on a single road. But this is compensated by the scenic beauty of the area.

Where do I even begin! Everything about the Windmill is just spectacular! From the location - private, with the most incredible and unimaginable view of the valley on both sides, just 2.5 hours from Chandigarh! Lots of walks and trails nearby for all levels, which the host, Saksham, is only too happy to take you to! The rooms- Each room is spacious, extremely clean and very well designed. What’s more? All rooms come with a view! The food- be it Indian or any other cuisine, the food is light and truly delicious. 10/10 to the cook! So good you’ll wanna steal him! The music- Saksham is the most talented Young DJ around! If ever you visit, ask him to whip out some of his tunes and you won’t be disappointed! The vibe- as good as it gets. Windmill has my heart and I can’t recommend the place enough!

Delicious homemade food! The location is perfect to experience the silence & freshness of the mountains! Common area is designed for all age groups. Rooms exceeded the expectations.

The rooms are very comfortable and cozy, the cafe offers very authentic and delicious meals 💯. The cafe has a very beautiful Wall Mural 🌟 and offers a great view and environment around the property.

What a serene and quaint location! Just what we were looking for. A lovely property with the sweetest staff. Clean and BIG rooms, greenery all around, spacious cafe and food just as we requested.

Shaksham n his parents are great host. Very warm n extremely helpful. The location of the homestay leaves nothing more to be desired. Blissfully located, far from the maddening crowd , overlooking a beautiful valley offering a magnificent view!!! A very relaxing stay n a wonderful experience. Will certainly love to be back.
