Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Il y a le minimum qu il faut , c’est ultra ultra propre et surtout on a eu notre 1ere douche chaude depuis notre départ en Indonésie ! Les propriétaires sont adorables et peuvent aider à la location de scooter par ex, le petit dej est copieux c’était parfait
J’ai envie de dire le bruit mais ils n’y sont pour rien il y a du bruit dans tout Moni je pense que c’est impossible de trouver une location sans bruit

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber und gemütlich. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der tolle Panoramablick auf Dorf Moni. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es einen wunderschönen Wasserfall, den man bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Auch mehrere Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt haben wir uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen!

Breakfast was delicious and super generous, and there is a great view of the small village of Moni right from the balcony. The couple who owns the place is adorable—they made us feel right at home from the very beginning. We truly enjoyed spending several days at their guest house and couldn't recommend this place enough!

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026L’emplacement parfait pour rejoindre le Kelimutu (si vous chercher un établissement pour rejoindre le volcan le centre ville de Moni est idéal), la gentillesse des propriétaires, propreté des lieux, wifi, eau chaude, les propriétaires vous aideront à trouver une voiture/scooter pour monter jusqu’au Kelimutu (environ 10-15min) nous conseillons de le faire en scooter car les paysages sur le retour sont magnifiques ! Le petit déjeuner est le meilleur que nous ayons pu manger en guesthouse Nous sommes restés dans deux guesthouse à Moni et Farila Lodge est de loin la meilleure Si vous cherchez un endroit pour manger Mopi’s café est le restaurant que nous avons préféré sur l’île de Florès, il est à quelques minutes à pieds, alors foncez !

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026We loved Farilla! Our hosts were very friendly offering us heaps of advice on where to eat and what to see around Moni area. We loved the breakfast which was brought down to our room overlooking Moni town and the rice paddies below. The room was clean, the bed large and very comfortable and even though it was cold during our time visiting the area, the room was warm with an extra blanket. Thank you.

Bon petit déjeuner, eau chaude avec de la pression... pour un prix dérisoire. Surtout un propriétaire adorable qui nous a emmené au Kelimutu et à Maumere, en prenant le temps qu'il faut pour nous donner des explications et faire en sorte qu'on se sente le mieux possible. Merci!

Vrij veel lawaai tot 12 uur in de nacht van het onder gelegen restaurant met live muziek (voor Europeanen). Als je hier graag deel van uitmaakt, geen probleem natuurlijk.

La vue est superbe, les chambres sont propres et confortables, les douches chaudes, le wifi correct et le petit-déjeuner est bon et généreux ! Ils nous ont lavé nos habits pour une bouchée de pain et ils sont revenus comme neufs! Et parfait point de départ pour le Kelimutu et un resto excellent à 8 minutes à pied!
On peut pas dire qu'on n'a pas apprécié mais peut-être un conseil pour le petit-déjeuner. Peut-être proposer un jus de fruits, notamment pour mes enfants car les seules options sont le café et le thé ! Mais c'est vraiment pas bien grave!

He drove 1.5 hours to collect us from the airport, walked us up to the lodge sharing stories of the spiritual and historical significance of the Kelimutu crater lakes, and had his wife bake us fresh bread. On our last morning he was at the door at 5:30am to drive us to our flight with a packed breakfast. His family has lived in this village for generations — that warmth and rootedness shows.
Nothing of note. For a small family lodge in a remote village, it exceeded every expectation.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Cet hébergement est bien placé car il se situe à côté du meilleur restaurant du village le Good Moni. Depuis le balcon on voit tout le village. La chambre est simple mais grande et il y a de l’eau chaude. Piter est toujours prêt à rendre service, il nous a conduit jusqu’au parking pour aller au Kelimutu et le lendemain il nous a emmené où nous voulions pour voir la région et ses villages.

Hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, hat uns gleich informiert, dass wir um 4:30 los müssen um rechtzeitig zum Sonnenaufgang am Kelimutu zu sein und dass wir das Frühstück dann danach auf dem Balkon bekommen. Zimmer ist geräumig hat aber wenig Einrichtung. Für uns war es passend, da wir nur eine Nacht da waren und morgens früh zum Kelimutu sind. Heiße Dusche!!!

The wifi didn't work and was asking for an account we do not have. It was very loud until 21.30 due to bars close by. The shower situation was a bit hard to handle as there was sometimes very little water and sometimes very good pressure. The room was clean, but there had been stains on the wall and we also needed to kill some ants.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Super accueil par le couple de propriétaires ! Nous avons très bien été accueillis à l’aéroport , puis deux jours super à Moni . On nous a aidés pour la location de scooter ainsi que le départ en bus pour bajawa . La chambre était parfaitement propre , simple mais nous avions tout pour passer un bon séjour avec une superbe vue sur les rizière . Emplacement parfait proche d’un très bon restaurant . Merci à vous pour ce bon moment !

Great location to visit the tri-lakes of Kelimutu, and we also enjoyed the coffee tour & tasting at Wokipaku. Peter and his family were very friendly hosts, and we particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast with views across the valley from the balcony.
You’re located in a Flores village, so the noises of roosters, dogs, & revving engines on the road are just a part of the experience

Звукоизоляция отсутствует, между потолком и окном открытый проём, отель находится между двух дорог, слышно всю ночь движение автотранспорта, и ночное караоке из отелей расположеных ниже. В общем, если хотите заснуть ждите полуночи. Странное, высокое расположение раковины, не аккуратно выполнена сатехническая разводка, номер нуждается в косметическом ремонте. Пододеяльник отсутствует.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und macht einen auf jeden Fall satt. Es gibt Omlette, Bananen Pancake und Obst. Die Lage ist super. Man hat nicht weit zu guten Lokalen. Hierfür gibt einem die Besitzerin gute Restaurant-Tipps. Das Personal ist generell sehr lieb und freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut top! Wir haben die Aussicht auf die Reisfelder geliebt.
Das Wasser ist nur bis zu einem gewissen Punkt warm, dann leider kalt. Es ist sehr hellhörig, da die Fenster teilweise nur mit einem Gitter versehen sind. Schon sehr früh hört man dadurch Autos, Hähne und Co.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026The room, location and facilities were excellent, but what really made the visit was the care and help provided by the owner Peter. For an additional fee he met us in Ende airport with a smile and brought us to Moni via a scenic local coffee shop. He took us to Kelimutu at 4.30 am and returned us back to Ende via the Lio indigenous village. At all times he was so open and generous with his knowledge and information about the traditions and history of this important region. Moni is a simple village set in a beautiful valley with good options for restaurants for lunch and dinner. Highly recommended!

Hij heeft ons tegen betaling opgehaald van het vliegveld, in de ochtend naar Kelimutu NP gebracht en ons hierna afgezet in Maumere. Onderweg vertelde hij veel over zijn cultuur en de omgeving, wat leuke gesprekken opleverden. Onderweg stopte hij regelmatig om bezienswaardigheden te laten zien. Wij hebben hem een dag van te voren benaderd waarna hij alles is gaan regelen, erg flexibel dus! Het verblijf is schoon en er is heerlijk warm water in de douche. Je kan 's-nachts wel wakker worden door de wilde kippen en hanen die herrie kunnen maken. Je hebt op loopafstand meerdere restaurantjes en cafés. Op ons verzoek kregen wij in de ochtend een heerlijke nasi goreng bereid door zijn vrouw voorgeschoteld.

Pokoj byl čistý, dostatečně prostorný a měl krásnou terasu s výhledem na Moni, kde jsme si mohli užívat klidnou atmosféru okolní přírody. Velkým bonusem byl i úžasný vodopád nedaleko ubytování, který rozhodně stojí za návštěvu. Celé místo působí velmi příjemně a pohodově. Velké poděkování patří majiteli Petrovi, který byl naprosto ochotný a milý. Vyzvedl nás na letišti v Ende, brzy ráno nás odvezl na Kelimutu na východ slunce a navíc nám zařídil i další přepravu do Maumere. Díky němu bylo všechno bez starostí a perfektně zorganizované. Zdraví cestovatelé z Česka ❤️ --- Our stay at Farila Lodge in Moni on Flores Island, near Kelimutu Lake, was a great choice. The room was clean, spacious enough, and had a lovely terrace with a view over Moni, where we could enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A great bonus was the amazing waterfall nearby, which is definitely worth visiting. The whole place has a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Special thanks to the owner Petr, who was incredibly helpful and kind. He picked us up at the airport in Ende, took us early in the morning to Kelimutu for sunrise, and also arranged our transfer to Maumere. Thanks to him, everything was smooth and perfectly organized. Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Absolutely fantastic panoramic views of the mountains and the village from the windows and the shared balcony in front of the room. Could even see the ocean in the distance. I sat there watching the sunset and sunrise. Very clean room, comfortable mattress and bedding. Hot shower with good water pressure. Massive breakfast with fruits, eggs, a big pancake and a choice of hot beverage. I don't drink tea or coffee and they let me choose a cereal drink. The owner and his wife were very friendly and kind. I left my umbrella in the taxi that I took from Ende. He also helped us organize a car to Kelimutu. His wife helped us flag down a bus to Ende and negotiated the price before we got on.

Śniadanie dobre - indonezyjskie tzn pancake z bananami ale najlepszy jaki jedliśmy na Wyspie Polecam jeżeli ktoś szuka taniego i czystego miejsca . Wróciłabym następnym razem .

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Location was good for the hike to Kelimutu. We could borrow a mototbike and gave us good recommendations of places to see. He and his wife made a lovely breakfast and were good hosts.
No aircon or fan. Charged 500k for airport pick up and drop off each way, we were unaware we could use Grab here and the host did not tell us. The price on grab is 300k so feel a bit ripped off. We were also charged 500k price by the host for a car and his guidance to the mountain. Although he was very good, we were told later in the village that it would only be 200k for the car to the mountain and guide.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026Peter, the host, is very friendly and warm. We had a nice, large room with a double bed and a private bathroom. The breakfast was very generous and filling. The view from the room over the village is simply beautiful!
Unfortunately, you can hear the dogs at night and the loud cars/scooters quite clearly.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026Mooi uitzicht. Ruime kamer. Ruime porch. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt wat op de porch geserveerd werd. Vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer en -vrouw. Goede locatie om de Kelimutu te bezoeken.
Kale kamer met achterstallig onderhoud. Alleen koud water in de douche. Veel omgevingsgeluiden (honden, hanen, verkeer).

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026Geräumige Zimmer in toller Lage in Moni. Der Eigentümer Piter und seine Frau sind supernett und hilfsbereit. Zudem ist die Aussicht von der Terrasse grossartig! Wir würden sofort wieder dort übernachten!

Reviewed Jan 23, 2026L'emplacement est juste super ! Notre hôte Peter à était très réactif sur nos demandes. Malheureusement nous n'étions pas sur une bonne période donc Kelimutu fermé à cause de la météo, panne de courant etc... Et grâce à nos hôtes nous avons passé un moment très agréable ! Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner !!!

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026The view is lovey, so is the linen, generous size bathroom. Peter was more than helpful and so pleasant. I left my Kindle and he drove to meet me half an hour down the road to give it to me. Lovely stay.
It’s a little noisy. The noise comes up from the road.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Lage, Lage, Lage fantastisch, Du erreichst die Wasserfälle, den Kelimutu sehr einfach und hast einen super Ausblick. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Preis (für 2 Nächte) und die Leistung passen. Komfort hast Du dafür aber nicht!
Das Bad ist schon recht "alt" Das Zimmer doch sehr runter gewohnt - Bett hart, Steckdose guckt aus der Wand und alles recht lieblos und super hellhörig. Nochmal für den Preis passt das, aber man kann es mit 1,2,3 Dingen perfektionieren. Länger als 2 Nächte hätten wir nicht gemacht.

Reviewed Dec 5, 2025Alles beviel ons! De eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Ze denken over heel veel mee. Het ontbijt is compleet en lekker. Je kunt makkelijk een scooter lenen en de eigenaar heeft ons naar Ende gebracht aan het einde van ons verblijf voor een minimale prijs. De kamer is schoon en het uitzicht prachtig en dat allemaal voor een hele betaalbare prijs. Wij hebben helemaal niks aan te merken en zouden het iedereen aanraden.

Reviewed Dec 4, 2025Comfortable homestay with very friendly owners. The room was big and clean. Outside there is a balcony that overlooks the town, this is a great place to sit and enjoy the view. Good, abundant breakfast. The village, a waterfall and several places to eat are at walking distance. The owner drove us up the volcano and gave us interesting information about the place, which made it even more magical. We also used his services for onwards transport to another part of the island, which was very comfortable. He is a good driver and good company :)
The electric heater for the shower is plugged in just above the shower, which didn´t look so safe.
