Great location, lovely scenery.comfortable house.
Showers are a bit weak in pressure but very clean.
Location was perfect, house was quaint and very clean
Just a little too pricey
Everything about the cottage was great. Very clean, quite and had everything you need. Only a 5 minute walk to the village. Old Head beach (fantastic ) a 6 or 7 minute drive away
Perfect location and very comfortable.
The showers were not ideal. The shower door needs some markings to prevent accidents and water pressure was not great.
Perfect location for our Hiking Adventure. Cosy & spotlessly clean. Barbara was an excellent host and only a text away if we needed anything.
Nothing bad to say.
The cottage was very cosy and made our girls' trip special.
Could have provided more basic toiletries and kitchen ingredients
great location
Great location, was ideal for kids and we brought our dog who also loved it. Nice short walk to the village and short drives to main attractions. Nice and peaceful.

Proximity to the village was perfect, quiet area, off peak season. Fire logs provided for us
The shower was a bit more than a dribble, could have been a little hotter also.
The cottage we stayed in was spacious, clean and very cosy. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 smallies. The location was very convenient with a short walk into the village and it was quiet too. Barbara the owner was very attentative and communication beforehand was prompt. We loved our stay there.

Nettes kleines Häuschen in wunderschöner Umgebung.
I stayed in these cottages as a child and fell in love with Louisburgh, I've been returning every summer for the past 20 years to the area. The cottages are so cute, have everything you need and are so close to the village. I was really excited to share the experience with my friends during a birthday weekend this year.
Unfortunately, there were a number of things that left a bad taste in my mouth. First of all, I had three cottages booked, all three bedroom, I was contacted by phone the day before check in and asked to downgrade to a two-bed because a "booking.com error" had placed a family of seven in a two-bed cottage. The staff member offered me some money back if I swapped but it was less than the price difference had I originally booked a two bed. So I said no thank you unless they could offer us a better deal. To this they responded "no problem, I'll ask another guest". I was frankly amused that they were asking guests to solve their error, without compensation, and I laughed it off. But the cherry on top was that while I had asked for, and been granted, late checkout on one of the three cottages, I received a text on the morning of, and was told that there was a previously undisclosed charge of €20 PER HOUR for this. I couldn't help but wonder if they added this charge because I'd refused to downgrade cottages. Ironically, we had asked for late checkout so people could stay connected to the wifi for longer, which my friend informed me didn't even work in her cottage. I'm so disappointed as I have always loved these cottages so much growing up, but the lack of professionalism and customer service would definitely put me off booking again.
A lovely cottage in a great location. The host was so helpful before, during and after our stay . Will Definately try to book again
Nothing. Everything was excellent
Lovely traditional cottage.Spotless clean, beds really comfortable.Local to everything you need, beautiful area.
Would have been nice some coal/log to light the stove on arrival.
The excellent customer service and contact from the host
The overall excellent customer service during a very difficult experience due to the storm
Perfect little cottage for a family or friends. It’s so authentically Irish and pulls you back to a simple time.
There was loads of cooking facilities like pots, pans and utensils- but no salt or sugar or any very basic non perishables.
Stunning cottage, everything you could possibly want for an enjoyable stay, clean, comfortable, tranquil, pet friendly . Exceeded all expectations. Most definitely will return.
I could not fault anything.
Location, locality, furnishings, car spaces, space, everything.
Nothing
Spotlessly clean, surprisingly spacious, very comfortable, well-equipped, very well-kept grounds, less than 5 min walk to shops/pubs etc. Very responsive host, pleasure to deal with.
Everything was perfect!
Staff were very helpful. We had all we needed and lived very comfortably in the cottage.
The cottage was delightfull and quant.
The cottage was extremely cold and took ages to warm up.The extra vents in the wall added to the breeze coming in the front door.
Comfortable, spacious and everything we could possibly need provided. Lovely quiet area but still within walking distance of shop, takeaway etc. and little playground next door.
Very cold when we arrived but soon warmed up once heat was on and a fire lit, very cosy after that.
