Sayuru Villa

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben unkompliziert auf 4 Nächte verlängert. Der Raum ist sehr groß und sauber. Vom Balkon haben wir Kolibris und Streifenhörnchen beobachtet. Das Bäcker Tuktuk fährt morgens direkt vor der Haustür vorbei und nebenan konnten wir Wasser kaufen. Praktisch in Strandnähe gelegen und der Weg an den Schienen eignet sich gut zum Joggen im Schatten morgens.

Man hört den Zug laut vorbeifahren, stört aber nicht unbedingt. Und die Gastgeberin spricht nur wenig englisch, war aber trotzdem sehr hilfsbereit!

I really enjoyed the start of my Sri Lanka trip here. The apartment including bathroom is spacious, super close to a nice beach and the host family is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very tasty too. Can definitely recommend.

Accommodation is simple and clean. The location is out of the main street, only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The breakfasts were tasty. The hosts are very nice and helpful. They provide also laundry and tuktuk service. I liked it there and would return.

Everything was perfect. The room was modern, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was renovated. The family was very kind and helpful. They treated us very well. We booked this apartment 3 nights and we decided to stay here 2 more nights. We highly recommended!:)

What an amazing find this was! The room is spacious with a modern bathroom, extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. You can also order dinner and breakfast at the property.

Very polite family. Got breakfast delivered to our room if we wanted to. Fair price and Very clean. Big room and balcony. Right next to it is the best restaurant in Hikkaduwa: tho brothers.

Very clean in comparison with the other places e stayed in Sri Lanka, the homemade food we had for breakfast was delicious, especially the juices. Very nice and helpful young boy was at our service whenever we needed something. He even drove us with a tuk tuk to the nearest bus station to catch the bus to Colombo. There are beautiful birds songs early in the morning.

The property is too close to the railway, although the trains are not very often, it was noisy whenever they passed. The last train is around 11 pm and the first around 4 am. The rest of the time it is quite quiet. The second night we did not have wi-fi but I suppose it is because of the operator, not the local wi-fi device. A mosquito net would provide a better sleep for the guests

Photos don't do this place justice! Beautiful room with beautiful wood furnishing and a lovely high ceiling. Best value for money we had in Sri Lanka. Extremely clean and very comfortable! The family are very very sweet also.
