Reviewed Jun 8, 2026We had an amazing stay at Sam’s Cottage in Roermond and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Alexandra and Maurice were fantastic hosts - warm, welcoming, and always attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is lovely and perfectly located for exploring the area, but what truly made our stay special was the hosts’ care and attention to every little detail. It’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind after a day out, combining comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality. A truly memorable experience!

Reviewed May 26, 2026Thanks to Alexandra and her nice family. We really enjoyed our stay. Already miss the place.

Reviewed May 17, 2026It was very cozy, clean and well equipped. The location was also great: close to Roermond but in a calm and green area, so it felt like you were far away from the rest of the world.
Nothing, it was absolutely wonderful.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026We had an excellent overall experience, the hosts were really nice and helpful, prepared a fresh and delicious breakfast with a wide variety of foods. The apartment is well equipped, having all sorts of appliances (useful if you travel with family / pets), and in general looking really nice and cosy. The village and the surroundings is really quiet and peaceful, providing a nice opportunity for evening walks.
The stairs to the bedroom might be a bit hard to climb for the elderly (or if you have smaller dogs). For me the bed wasn't the best, and we could use a bit more storage room for clothes in the bedroom. But overall, nothing serious.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2025Tolle Lage. Nette Vermieter. Sehr schöne Wohnung. Super sauber.

Reviewed May 12, 2025We liked everything about the cottage. The location is excellent, close to Roermond but also very peaceful. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well stocked/maintained. A great place to start a walk through the fields and forest. The owners are very kind and give you your privacy as well.
