The apartment was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean and very thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and everything was seamless from arrival to departure. You can tell that a lot of care has gone into both the property and the guest experience.

The Wifi during our entire 6-day stay didn't work properly, which was a big issue given that we had several video calls and work to do. Despite several requests to fix the issue and send a technician, the host repeatedly apologized but didn't seme willing to do anything about it. Our request to compensate us for this non-feature was not met. There was not even a small gift or a nice gesture at the end to make up for our troubles. Disappointing.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026We really enjoyed our stay at Nileos house. It was a good size for our family of four and an excellent location for seeing much of Athens. Our flight arrived early in the morning and the hosts were kind enough to let us drop off our luggage hours before check in, which was a huge help. The area is quiet, but easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We would happily stay here again!

The rooms were just as advertised. Spacious and very comfortable. George and Savvas were fantastic hosts. They were super responsive and even helped us to retrieve a toy my niece accidentally left in the room. I highly recommend staying here!

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026La décoration est particulièrement soignée et tout était dans un état irréprochable. L'appartement était en rez de cour ce qui était appréciable vu les fortes chaleurs à Athènes. La literie était confortable et les équipements permettaient de cuisiner ce qui est un plus. La localisation est parfaite : à 15mn à pied de l'entrée de l'Acropole et à 5mn du métro Thiseio.
Le manque de savoir vivre de certains clients. Ces immeubles sont très sonores et nous avons vu nos nuits interrompues par des entrées et des sorties, des portes qui claquaient et des hurlements dans les escaliers entre minuit et 4h du matin. C'est le seul bémol de ce logement qui est très sonore et où tout résonne et s'entend, d'autant que la porte d'entrée de l'immeuble "buzze" fortement et longtemps à chaque ouverture. C'est le seul bémol.

George was very responsive, had a space for our bags (as we landed in athens early) and even made an effort to get the room ready earlier than our booking. George kindly helped with our bags and provided a contact for a taxi driver. Also beautiful decor.

Der Hausflur riecht etwas feucht, davon ist in der Wohnung aber nichts zu merken.

Les hôtes ont été flexibles pour un early check-in et un départ tardif. Ils sont très facilement joignables et répondent très rapidement malgré le fait qu'il s'agisse d'un auto-check-in. Reviewed Jun 14, 2026The location is excellent, with modern and well-decorated facilities. After a tiring day in the city, the comfort and air conditioning make it the perfect place to relax and recharge.
My apartment was located in the underground area, and unfortunately the smell there was quite unpleasant. Before even entering the apartment, there was a noticeable musty odor, almost like humidity and insects, which made the arrival a bit uncomfortable. Inside, the bathroom also lacked ventilation as there was no window, which led to a lot of humidity building up. The absence of a proper shower door or enclosure meant that the bathroom floor was almost always wet after use. I believe some simple improvements could help a lot, such as a dehumidifier and perhaps an air freshener or diffuser to improve the overall atmosphere.

Wohnung lag im Untergeschoss, Koffer musste die Treppe heruntergetragen werden. Das Bett befand sich auf einem Podest zum Hinaufkrabbeln. Etwas hellhörig (Eingangstür)

De inrichting van het appartement is heel modern en de gebruikte kleuren en materialen zijn prachtig. De hygiene is onberispelijk en de keuken heeft ruim voldoende serviesgoed en pannen. De badkamer is heel ruim. Het appartement heeft twee balkons, beiden groot en netjes. De airco's werken super. 's Nachts kan de slaapkamer vrijwel helemaal verduisterd worden, dat is fijn. Er stond koffie, thee, voldoende handdoeken, sloffen, shampoo, water etc. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen!
We kunnen niets bedenken, alles was zoals we hoopten.

The location was excellent—just a pleasant 15-minute walk from the Parthenon and many of the city's most famous attractions, making it easy to explore Athens on foot. The apartment was comfortable, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was clear that a great deal of thought had gone into providing guests with all the essentials, making it feel like a home away from home. Reviewed May 30, 2026Acropolis and good restaurants are very close by the house. Check in was smooth with clear instructions and questions were answered without delay. Allowed us to store luggage after checkout :)
As we go downstairs there was some kind of smell, may be because of not enough air flow. The bed room has windows to the street, one could hear even the foot steps. Air conditioner was bit noisy and placed near kitchen and living room. Restroom do not have lock, no access to balcony as shown in the photos.

Loved everything about the property. If I could change 2 things which I am not sure is possible, the bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly so there is always water sitting on the bottom of it and there was a odd odor in the hallway of the basement level.

Hosts were responsive and shared great recommendations for the neighborhood. Lovely location - close to everything (15m walk to acropolis + agora/acropolis views from end of the street) but feels neighbourhoody and slightly out of the tourist zone so quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Athens!

Reviewed May 18, 2026This Apartment is very nice. It is close to everything - Bars, Restaurants, Monastiraki Square and ofcourse the Acropolis. Everything inside the apartment is also really good. We loved how spacious this was. The bed was also very comfortable. We would specially like to thank the Apartment owners for allowing us a late check-out. We would definitely recommend.

The pictures don't do it justice. Slept 5 of us comfortably. 3. Spent a lot of time on the balcony 4. Hosts were super communicative and helpful. 5. Nice touches like slippers for every person and water in fridge.

Instead of coordinating luggage storage, they allowed us to have a very late check-out cause the room wasn't booked the next day which made our experience all the more seamless. La terrasse est un plus, les produits de toilette sont au top et la garde des bagage après le check out est super pratique. Nous conseillons donc mais pas avec le côté chambre côté rue
Le studio est tellement bruyant côté chambre. Impossible de dormir sas bouchons d'oreilles. ll manque un peu de matériel en cuisine (couteau qui coupe vraiment, bols, saladier). Il serait bien d'avoir un fond de cuisine (huile et vinaigre pour commencer car on est obliger d'acheter 1 litre d'huile pour 3/4 jours).Aucune chaîne internationale sur la TV

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026Excellent location. All interesting sites (Akropolis, Plaka, Anafiotika, Monastiraki, Psirri, Syntagma) are in walking distance. The place is quiet at night. Super restaurants are just a few steps away. The handling of check-in and check-out was very easy also the payment. The apartment is very nice spacious and clean with good equipment. we will recomment this place to everyone going to Athens.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Nileos House is only a few minutes walk from Thiseio metro station and the Acropolis, but it's tucked away in a quieter neighborhood than other areas in the city center of Athens. After the long journey from Jakarta to Athens, Nileos House really was home away from home. There are quite a lot of good restaurants nearby as well as some supermarkets. It's also a short hike away to the Pnyx Hill.

Małym mankamentem było położenie sypialni blisko jezdni, która nie jest jak się okazało głośna i ruchliwa.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Πρόκειται για ένα πολύ καλό διαμέρισμα δίπλα σε ένα από τα πιο εμβληματικά κ ιστορικά σημεία της πρωτεύουσας. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, άνετο για δύο άτομα και είχε όλες τις ανέσεις που χρειάζεται κάποιος. Ο σταθμός του μετρό δεν ήταν ούτε πέντε λεπτά με τα πόδια!!! Η επικοινωνία με τον υπεύθυνο ήταν άμεση και χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Σίγουρα θα προτιμηθεί για το επόμενό μας ταξίδι στην Αθήνα!!!

Samo mieszkanie bardzo komfortowe, przestronne, urządzone z dbałością o szczegóły z wysokiej jakości materiałów. W sam raz na weekendowy czy kilkudniowy wypad. Pomieści maks 4 osoby - w sypialni 2 oraz w salonie na sofie są dwa miejsca. My byłyśmy we dwie i wszystko było miło i sprawnie przygotowane zgodnie z naszą prośbą. Na plus przyjemna pościel i ręczniki (kapcie!) a także wysokiej jakości kosmetyki w łazience. Bardzo polecamy!
