Fab house, clean, fully equipped and in the heart of Virginia

It was very clean and had every single thing we needed for our stay. Highly recommend

Unfortunately the water pump kept going on and off all through the night as we were in room beside the hot press …not conducive to good nights sleep but everything else was top notch and the room upstairs didn’t hear it !

Brilliant location in Virginia, Cavan, short 5 minute walk into the town centre. House was clean, good sized rooms and well maintained.

House was immaculate , with a fully stocked kitchen . The host was very gracious on arrival . The location was perfect for the town and for the forest walk .

The property was perfect for us as we were attending a local wedding the next day. The church was literally just a short walk round the corner. Tom (the host) was very accommodating and flexible with checking in and checking out times which we really appreciated. The accommodation I thought exceeded my expectations and worked well for us as a family group. We really liked the thoughtful wine and breakfast goodies

The house was spacious and very good amenities. Some welcome goodies.

So spacious and clean. It had everything we needed between towels, body wash, shampoo and then milk and goodies left for us in the kitchen!

We were self catering ,it was a quiet location but in easy reach of the town to walk into . We had a sunny garden with tables and chairs which was lovely . Downstairs toilet ,again very useful especially as we had small children . A lovely Irish welcome pack on arrival and fresh flowers which was a lovely touch . We felt the location was really good as it was in a cul-de -sac and quiet and safe .

The kitchen was not that well equipped,needed more saucepans and utensils as we do like to do a lot of cooking from scratch . We also had trouble with the hot water in the showers ,but to be fair the host did try to sort it for us . The boiler system was confusing as the radiators kept coming on when we wanted hot water ? Could have been cleaner ,light fittings very dusty and skirting boards etc but maybe we were to fussy 😂

The house had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The beds were extremely comfortable & the patio area was beautiful! Tom was a wonderful host & very responsive. Perfect for a multigenerational trip to visit relatives in the area. It was a quick walk to the town, 2 supermarkets & restaurants.

The house was well appointed. 3 spacious double bedrooms 2 on the first floor and 1 on the second and 1 single also on the first floor. 2 of the doubles were ensuite and all 3 were equipped with fabulous showers. The kitchen was spacious and made for great communal catch ups. All the beds were very comfortable. No complaints from any of us. The outside area had plenty of seats, very welcome in the ferocious heat. Delighted with all the toiletries too, lovely white stuff products. Exceptional towels very very good quality!

Very minor points that are easily fixed, the top bedroom skylights need cleaning round the openings between stays. A chair would be useful in that room too. Wastepaper baskets could be added to the bedrooms. In all honesty these are so minor and personal to each individual. Without these changes it's still a solid 10 out of 10.

Clean, comfortable accommodation with private parking. Quiet location but easy walking distance to town centre. The fridge was stocked with essentials and a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival - very welcome after drive up from ferry port.

Even with the boiler fully heated the showers were on the cool side - looks like a water pressure issue

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely surprise to find there was soda bread, eggs, cheese and butter so we could make breakfast and not need to go out. There was also a bottle of prosecco and some KitKats. The owner was able to accommodate a late check in.

Couldn't work out how to use the bedside lamps!

Everything! Tom was great to communicate with before, during and after our stay. He allowed us to check-in early as we were attending a wedding in the local area. We were all stunned with how amazing the house was, it was very comfortable and everything is to a high standard. It was unfortunate that we only had one night in Virginia Way.

So close and walkable to food and shops, absolutely quiet, perfectly comfortable. Quite luxurious all around! Highly recommend!!

There’s nothing to not like, and Tom was super accessible when we needed help understanding features different from what we were used to.

Tom is an exceptional host, went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

from the beginning we were very impressed..as we were attending a wedding we requested an early check in which was no problem...house and garden were spotless and well maintained..the welcome package of milk treats bread and wine went down a treat 😀 everything was perfect and we would highly recommend..wished we had booked for longer

I would say Weather..😂…which is a general Irish thing. But jokes aside, there’s nothing to dislike about the place.

Tom’s place was perfect. We were attending a wedding at the Virginia Park Lodge and the house was located a short walk away. Tom was very friendly, helpful and responsive host and his home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Beds were super comfy and hot showers! Could not recommend this place more and if we are ever back in Virginia will be staying again!

Tom was extremely responsive. The place was perfectly clean and very well located and had everything we needed. There was a lovely guest basket to greet us on arrival. Highly recommend!

Weren't quite sure how to get hot water in one of the bathrooms, but the main one worked fine

It was clean, had everything we needed especially as we were there during storm Eowyn Tom was a great host unfortunately we had no electricity due to the storm but no fault of the host. We didn’t get to visit the town as it was all shut 🫤 so we will definitely come back

Great property. Plenty of space for the family and all the facilities we could ask for. We were attending a wedding nearby and location was great.

Because got the location it was an easy to Marie's kitchen for breakfast which was excellent. Access to the pubs was just a short work. Deerpark Inn for for food was excellent. For us we were half way between family in Cavan and the Navan races. Perfect location

The home had all amenities you could need with additional ones you wouldn't have thought of. The home was very clean and tidy with beautiful furnishings as well as modern appliances.

Incredible house, from top to bottom. Modern kitchen and living area and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Great location to attend a wedding at Virginia park lodge, which is only a short walk away. Ideal for a group or family. Thank you Tom for a great stay.

We love everything about the property

The property was so beautiful it was like a home away from home. The rooms were all fitted with tvs and 2 of the rooms had on suites.
