Uncleaned room when I tell the owner that the second day my room was not cleaned,she said they don't serviced daily and this is not a hotel it is a guest house, who leave his room with towels lying on the floor all over anyway, even if I sleep in any other place the rooms would not be served everybody clean after themselves, they don't rely on servants to clean for them.she even said they was a complained of noise from other guest and people need quiet and peace when they rest.but what are want complained about being served but have are reflected on my actions towards others. I didn't want to respond her because I can't found the room they same way l left it and when raising my concern she told me about noise.i didn't make any noise we were speaking as we arrived very late and the same guest was making noise in the morning at around 5am but I didn't say anything because they paid with their money.i paid to be served not to clean the room. For that night I didn't have any options I supposed to sleep somewhere. I paid for two days first day everything was fine and I was impressed but the second day was disaster

Maybe more air fresh scent/spray for the rooms? It was a bit smokey at arrival. Not sure if it was siggarets or the fireplace

The room aircon didn't work correctly (had to stand under it to feel cold air) and the room was like an oven and no backup fan. The show door kept jumping off the rails.

We were really relieved that they had a tiny pool to cool off in, the day we arrived was particularly hot. Also really thankful for the aircon. It was very easy to check in and the hostess was friendly and reached out with info on how to get in and about places to eat. There is a shared space for a braai next to the pool and a little patch of grass for the dogs

Reviewed Dec 19, 2025Tastefully decorated with all the creature comforts. Bed was very comfortable. WiFi was reasonable. Bathroom was well laid out and stocked with little extras. Felt like we were in a very expensive and upmarket hotel room.
Not a dislike but more of a warning. The self catering facilities are communal so if you prefer privacy while cooking and eating this may not be the place for you. We didn’t mind as the area was well stocked with everything needed and we didn’t see any other guests when we were cooking and eating.
