VANAYA wooden Lodges in Lush Garden

Die beiden Hosts sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereite Menschen. Das Frühstück war super lecker und wird am Morgen zur ausgemachten Uhrzeit auf die Terrasse gebracht. Die Lage zum Strand ist perfekt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

We loved this place. Anna and Ketut were so welcoming and friendly, always chatting to us and helping with any bookings or laundry we needed done. The bungalows are fantastic - everything you need and really comfortable. Great beds, nice bathroom, good aircon and the garden surrounding the property is beautiful. Our kids said it was their favourite of all the places we stayed in Bali. It’s about a 7-8 minute walk from the beach where you can happily hang out all day, snorkel, swim and just relax. Anna and Ketut organised a day trip to Menjangan Island which was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend. We saw turtles, moray eels, incredible coral and deer! Pemuteran itself is such a gem, amazing food (try Warung Setia!) next time we come to Bali we will go straight there. What a place! Thank you Anna and Ketut 🙏

Soggiorno molto suggestivo, la casetta sull'albero è stata una dei primi pernottamenti che abbiamo fatto. La struttura è a conduzione familiare, molto gentili ed educati. Colazione super abbondante. Sono stati anche molto gentili a tenerci i bagagli oltre l'orario del check-out.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem wunderschönen, liebevoll gepflegten Garten und ist ein herrlich ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen. Gleichzeitig ist alles, was man im Alltag braucht bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Nähe gibt es kleine Supermärkte und Restaurants, und auch zum Strand ist es nicht weit. Ursprünglich hatten wir die Unterkunft nur für ein paar Nächte gebucht, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat, haben wir immer wieder verlängert und sind am Ende zwei Wochen geblieben. 😊 Wer einen ruhigen, authentischen und wunderschönen Ort sucht, an dem man einfach abschalten und Bali genießen kann, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Erna und ihre Familie für die wunderschöne Zeit! ❤️

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre chambre, propre, joliment décorée, avec une vue sur le jardin. La clim fonctionnait bien et la moustiquaire était très efficace. Tout était calme et apaisant, loin du bruit de la route principale. L'équipe est réactive et attentionnée. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié. Les clubs de plongée et la plage sont proches. Nous recommandons vraiment ce lodge ; c'est une parenthèse très agréable.

La gentillesse des propriétaires, le petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse, l'emplacement calme et proche de la plage. La douche originale est fonctionnelle.

Un petit effort à apporter sur la propreté du sol et il manquait du gel douche et un drap.

Loved Erna our host which helped us with every one of our needs. Loved her breakfast as well and the location is perfect and calm.

Some smells from the toilets from time to time but nothing too bad.

Nos 3 chambres étaient dans un joli jardin, au calme, à 5 mn à pied de la plage et de restaurants. Le personnel était très souriant, les petits déjeuners bons, les lits très confortables.

La chambre de gauche était très sombre, et a nécessité d'utiliser une frontale pour ranger nos vêtements :)

Le personnel adorable et les services et activités proposées étaient bien moins chères qu’en direct avec les locaux, surtout la sortie snorkelling.

Les propriétaires sont tres accueillants. Leurs nouveaux employés ne parlent presque pas anglais ce qui nous a vl des déconvenues notamment pour un petit déjeuner servi avec 25 min de retard alors que nous avions un RDV.

Lovely owners, great location, fast WiFi, use of a fridge, beautiful garden, easy parking, spotless room, great breakfast, great aircon, comfortable bed. You couldn’t ask for anything more.

L’établissement est agréable et arboré en retrait de la rue principale bruyante. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment bon. Les lits sont confortables et les rideaux assez occultants ce qui est rare à Bali. Il faut faire le tour de la rue pour accéder à la plage mais ce n’est pas si loin.

En tant que professionnelle de l’hôtellerie, je me dois juste d’apporter quelques informations aux visiteurs car j’ai ressenti un manque de transparence. Au moment de partir, la propriétaire des lieux me demande de régler la chambre. Il se trouve que j’ai toujours réglé via Booking et que je pensais avoir réglé. Bref, ce n’était pas le cas donc je m’excuse et demande à payer par carte le prix indiqué par Booking. Elle m’indique rajouter 3% de taxes pour le paiement par carte, ce n’est pas mentionné sur booking mais à la rigueur ok, je sais que c’est usuel ici donc pas de soucis. Puis elle me demande un montant supérieur et m’explique que je dois également régler 10% de plus correspondant aux taxes gouvernementales. Je refuse, indiquant que ce n’est pas mentionné sur booking et que c’est bien la première fois qu’on me demande de régler des taxes en plus du montant demandé initialement (via Booking). Je tiens à dire que j’avais raison puisque j’ai reçu un mail de booking par la suite précisant que les 10% de taxes sont déjà inclus dans le prix total de la chambre !! Je suppose qu’elle était au courant mais je laisse le bénéfice du doute. Bref, si elle vous demande 10% supplémentaires refusez de les payer. Pour terminer, il est mentionné dans le book que vous pouvez remplir vos gourdes à la cuisine. Il n’est mentionné aucune contrepartie, donation ou prix, mais une urne est présente à côté de la bouteille d’eau. J’avais donc participé spontanément. Juste après l’épisode des taxes, elle m’a directement demandé de payer pour l’eau ! Pour rappel nous ne sommes restés que deux nuits. Je peux totalement comprendre qu’on me demande de payer pour de l’eau mais je ne comprends pas que ça ne soit pas indiqué clairement ou bien répercuté sur le prix des chambres ! En effet, les prix sont relativement bas pour attirer, puis on se retrouve à payer petites sommes sur petites sommes, ça manque de transparence et laisse un goût amer au voyageur juste avant de partir, bien dommage.

Les lodges sont magnifiques, j'avais pris la chambre avec balcon. Vanaya est situé non loin de la plage de bioroc.J’ai adoré l'extrême sympathie des hôtes Ema et Philippe(je l'écris en français, sorry)😍 qui ont organisé une excursion sur l’ile de Menjagan où l’on peut voir en snorkelling, les coraux les plus jolis que j’ai pu voir et de multiples poissons multicolores. Nous avons ensuite déjeuner sur l’ile. Cette journée était parfaite ! Merci à Ema et Philippe

À considérer que les bungalows ne sont pas étanches donc plusieurs moustiques, des moustiquaires sont présents autour du lit mais difficile de les mettre étanche Un anti moustique à brancher est aussi disponible dans la chambre, mais malgré cela notre petite s’est beaucoup fait piquer Bungalow très lumineux le jour du aux nombreuses fenêtres mais très sombre le soir, lumière très tamisée Ceci est plus à titre informatif car nous avons adoré notre séjour ici et je reviendrais certainement

First, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and made us very welcome. The accommodation is very nice and set in lush green gardens. Its a five minute walk to the beach, (up to the main road and back down to the beach) and surrounded by many restaurants and cafés. The staff organized a taxi for us when we came to leave. Happy to recommend.

The loveliest owners, very tranquil property, beautiful room and garden. The beach is a short walk away and so are all the restaurants in town, however around the lodge it’s a quiet oasis.

The room was nice and clean. The staff also very communicative .... There's a kitchen that we can use anytime👍

There's no access to the beach.... just to consider if you need to have easy access to the beach....the rest of that, all is well...

Everything! The hosts are very kind and welcoming. They have a ton of information on what to do and can also help you book activities. The hotel is in a great location and just a short walk to the beach. We loved that we had breakfast at our room every morning. It was delicious and filling. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the AC worked well. We also loved the gardens around the cabins. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back again one day!

The room was so thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, probably the nicest room I've stayed in in Bali. The couple who own the place are so kind and friendly and the place is super relaxed. Will definitely go back when I next visit Pemuteran.

Es ist Strand nah aber um an den Strand zu kommen muss man 10m außen rum laufen. Pool oder Außenliegeflächen haben gefehlt.

La tranquillité du lodge, l’accueil des propriétaires et leur disponibilité pour organiser des activités (snorkeling, randonnées diverses, etc), la proximité avec la plage (5 min à pieds) et beaucoup de restaurants et cafés agréables.

Super nette Gastgeber. Sehr schöne, gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft im Grünen. Halbwegs ruhige Lage abseits der Hauptstraße, bis zum Strand ca 5 Minuten Fußweg. Schöner Garten. Erna und Ketut haben uns auch geholfen einen Ausflug nach Java und den Ijen zu organisieren. Kleines aber leckeres Frühstück. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen :)

Sehr gute Unterkunft in guter Lage, wenige Minuten zum Meer und zentral gelegen. Es ist ruhig, die Anlage mit dem Garten ist wunderschön und die Familie, die die Lodge betreibt ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sauber, das Frühstück ist gut. Hier hat man alles, was man braucht, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Wir haben deshalb unseren Aufenthalt sogar verlängert. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Tout était parfait

We spent 3 nights in this lovely little hotel. The rooms were decorated with charm and all surround a beautiful garden. A delicious breakfast is served every morning on the terrace of your room. The lodge is central, i.e. 7 mins walk to the cute beach and the owner can organise all the excursions at a very fair price. There are lots of nice restaurants within a few minutes walk, and a fabulous spa at the end of the road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend this hidden gem to other travelers.

Very welcoming family run haven, close to the beach and all amenities.

Our stay was too short.

I felt like I was in a tropical paradise. The bungalow was beautiful. Nice A/C and hot water. The bed was comfy. The hosts will arrange anything for you and will accommodate your needs. The beach is less than a five minute walk away and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was plentiful. I will be telling my friends and family about going to Pemuteran and staying at Vanaya.

Mosquitos, but I can't blame the lodge for that. There is a mosquito net for the bed and you can request an electric mosquito repellent which works great.

Unique accomodation in a fabulous garden. Good location off the main road, close to the beach and great warungs.

Nice little lodge in a quiet location. Beach not too far away. As wooden really needed the air con but comfortable non the less. Highlight was the friendly team looking after us.

Very cosy small-scale lodge with 5 separate houses / bungalows. Top location : very quiet in dead-end-street but still less than 5 minutes walking to the beach and to the restaurants. Family-owned by very friendly and Uper helpful couple. They also helped us with booking an unforgettable snorkling trip to Menjangang island 👌

This place is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely garden and stylish new bungalows. The treehouse is a perfect, tranquil retreat. It’s close to the beach and great restaurants. The hosts are very kind and make you feel at home. Highly recommend!

The Wi-Fi connection was not very fast

The treehouse was beautiful, peaceful and very comfortable. The owners Ketut & Erne live on the property and serve the guests with ease and grace. The small grounds are pretty. It is a new lodging but looks like authentic Balinese style.

The owners are really nice people. They help you with everything and give you a great time during your stay. The room was very clean and looked pretty. There is a good energy, also because of the nice garden full with mango trees. You stay near to the beach and you can relax with a massage just around the corner. We really enjoyed our time with Erna and Ketut.

Erna and Ketut are the most warm and generous hosts with beautiful joyful souls...and funny, I have not laughed so much in ages. I stayed in the treehouse, surrounded by delicious mango trees, amazing comfortable mattress, very clean room, great air-con. Can watch the stars in bed, listen to the waves from very close beach (bout 3min walk) as you fall gentle asleep...and softly wake up to so many birds welcoming in the day. Highly recommend, so much better than a resort! Erna and Kutut are the owners, a big point of difference, they treat you like family, amazing authentic Balinese food, tastiest fresh mangos from trees in garden, Erna and her sister gave me cooking class - learnt how to make Sambel matah, delicious spinach soup (spinach straight from garden) and bakwan Jagung (corn fritters) best ever! Newly built, 3 villas opening soon (group photo), I felt so honoured to be part of blessing ceremony and draw mandalas with Katut's father (just happened to be a revered priest). Very special day! Great location!! 3mins walk to beach to shore snorkelling at amazing Biorock project and I did heaps of dives with Karang Diving (very professional, safe, latest equipment). Thank you Erna and Ketut for welcoming and treating me so well, I can't wait to return xx
