Very special, peaceful place with wonderful hosts who helped us so much! Nice walk into town and beautiful property and grounds. Excellent breakfast and many brochures and free maps available.

The location and hosts were wonderful!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Abbey Court. Brendon and Geraldine were delightful, warm and accommodating. We’d had a long drive and were tired. Brendon wanted to help with our bags and made us a tray of tea and biscuits to relax in their wonderful garden with spectacular views. The location is great, so close to town, roughly a 10/15 minute walk and a nice walk as they live in a quiet area. The house is beautifully kept, impeccable, the room was perfect, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and lovely bedding. We had a super evening in the town and decided to eat there; with so many restaurants and bars there’s food options for everyone. We enjoyed the colourful buildings and walked around getting into the warm and friendly Irish spirit. Our breakfast the next morning was really fantastic, cooked by Brendon and served by Geraldine in their beautiful morning rooms. There were plenty of options, my husband loved his full Irish and Brendon made a lovely vegetarian cooked breakfast with a mountain of scrambled eggs for me which was delicious. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Abbey Court to anyone traveling to Kenmare or around that area. We hope to come back and stay there again. Thank you Brendon and Geraldine for your wonderful hospitality.

On a passé un super séjour, très bien accueillis avec des boissons chaudes face au lac et moutons, la chambre était très confortable avec vue sur le lac, la maison est splendide ! Je recommande cet établissement où nous nous sommes reposés pendant notre voyage.

It’s a beautiful property just a short walk into town. We could see the sea from our window. The best part was the property owners! A great couple who were so kind, welcoming and helpful!

We stayed at Abbey Court Kenmare and had a wonderful experience. The place has a truly special atmosphere, with a beautiful view over Kenmare Bay right from the window. The room and the living area were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the cozy courtyard outside. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He kindly offered us coffee and gave very helpful recommendations for exploring the Ring of Kerry, which made our trip much easier to plan. The location is perfect, right at the beginning of the Ring of Kerry. It works very well to drive from Dublin, stay here overnight, and then start the route early in the morning. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable stay. We would definitely recommend this place.

Tutto sommato va bene, 7 solo grazie all'host, ma non un 10 come si vede nelle recensioni. Le stanze sono vecchiotte e polvere nel letto (lo dico da asmatico), la doccia nel bagno non è ottimale. Non lo dico per togliere niente, assolutamente, solo per chi come me prenota aspettandosi un 10 e trova un 7.

Beautiful house and a lovely couple who run it. Had great chats and friendly service. Highly recommend. We travelled from Carlow and the journey was made so much better having such an amazing place to stay.

A beautiful place. Wonderful hosts, very lovely and helpful, honestly interested in the their guest! Welcome tea on arrival. Our bedroom was 'extended' with a beautiful and quiet living room, as well! The breakfast was also wonderful.

The sink in the bathroom is placed surprisingly low... But really that's all we can think of!

Extremely well-appointed and comfortable. Our host welcomed us with fresh coffee, made certain we were settled, and offered several suggestions for dining, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location is peaceful, offering a lovely sitting room common area where we had plenty of time to unwind from a long journey. Highly recommend.

Brendan is an excellent host. The place is marvelous close to many activities. The view is spectacular and the delicious breakfast is the best way to start a wonderful day. I definitively recommend this guest house.

A homely environment with beautiful sea views throughout. Only a short walk to town. Brendan and Geraldine were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Even drove us into town ( a very short distance but it was pouring rain) to pick our car up which we left there the night before after a fabulous night in town.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. There was a picturesque view from our window. There is a lovely sitting area on a veranda that overlooks the river. Hosts were very attentive to our needs.

We loved our stay at Abbey Court! It's a cosy peaceful sanctuary with a fantastic breakfast and stunning backyard views overlooking greenfields and the the ocean. Very hospitable and lovely staff too!

no water, tissues or biscuits in room and only caffeinated tea. would have given better marks if we hadn't been disturbed by other noisy residents coming in at 2am. noise travelled from room above in the night and was very disturbing.
