Hostería Sol

Close to Camino, clean, comfortable with easy access to local bars restaurants and shops. The hosts were helpful and rang us a taxi for our unexpected early trip back to Santander.

Unfortunately we were expecting to be able to eat in the restaurant and have a drink in the bar, hopefully with other residents of the hostal but the bar and restaurant were closed.

Nunca encuentras una cama donde dormir a gusto cuando sales de casa, lo normal vamos.

Friendly hosts. Quiet location very close to the Camino Del Norte. I thoroughly recommend the hamburgers! Homemade beef patty, loads of onions and an exceptional roll.

Von der Strasse kommt viel Lärm und das Zimmer war sehr warm.

La limpieza y la atención

La amabilidad de los dueños. Fueron encantadores y nos facilitaron mucho la hora de entrada a pesar de habernos equivocado en el horario. El desayuno fué perfecto, el bizcocho que prepara Sol muy bueno. La habitación tenía todo lo necesario. La ducha tenía buena presión de agua y estaba todo muy limpio.

La habitación era amplia, el baño también. No hay escaleras para acceder a las habitaciones, estando a pie de calle es silencioso.

HABITACIÓN AMPLIA Y LIMPIA. CON EXTRAS POR SI LLEVAS TU MASCOTA Y TRATO AMABLE.

SOLO FALTA UN AIRE ACONDICIONADO O ALGUN VENTILADOR PARA LOS DIAS DE MUCHO CALOR PARA DARLE UNA PUNTUACIÓN DE EXCELENTE.

Para mi no es malo pero es necesario coche para ir a la playa y la ducha algo estrecha

Ducha pequeña No tiene aire acondicionado y como está en planta baja tampoco se puede abrir la ventana, porque te ven.

Das Zimmer war sauber und mit zwei Einzelbetten sowie einem eigenen Bad ausgestattet. Für eine Übernachtung ist die Unterkunft völlig in Ordnung.

Die Duschkabine ist allerdings sehr eng. Ich bin 1,95 m groß und hatte Schwierigkeiten, mich darin zu bewegen. Es war kaum möglich, sich zu bücken, um beispielsweise die Füße bequem zu waschen. Außerdem sind die Wasserleitungen sehr laut. Man hört deutlich, wenn im Nachbarzimmer Wasser genutzt wird. Es klang teilweise so, als wäre Luft in den Leitungen, was besonders nachts störend sein kann.

Camere poco insonorizzate, si sente tutto quello delle camere vicine.

In de kamer bevindt zich een gigantische noodverlichting die de kamer ‘s nachts helemaal verlicht. We horen alles van bij de buren.

Habitación y baño limpios y amplios. Agua ozonizada. Personal muy amable. Parquing en la misma puerta.

El tener que pagar las consumiciones en el bar de la Hostería en efectivo, ya que hoy en día muchos no llevamos efectivo encima. Pero hay un cartel bastante visible que así lo indica.

Super lekker eten. Aardige eigenaren.

The rooms are simple, but everything is comfortable, functional, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The hostess is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything.

The only downside was that my room was on the ground floor, so I didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open at night.

Good stay on the Camino del Norte. Clean and comfy room

Majorly disappointed that the restaurant/bar was closed! Was really looking forward to their pizza. Realize most restaurants are closed on Monday but couldn’t believe it was also closed on Tuesday, as was many of the local places! Supermarket nearby but no place to prepare a meal or hang out.

Location was ideal for a stay on the Camino del Norte. The friendly owners allowed us in our room an hour early, which was much appreciated. Food is served from lunch time onwards, which is handy for hungry walkers. Our room was sparkling clean and very comfortable, with a great shower.

A kettle in the room would be great and breakfast, but these services have not been available at any of our Camino stops.

Sol y Javier son un regalo para el mundo de la hostelería y la humanidad. ¡Por fin una mampara que cierra bien! La limpieza y el olor a limpio incluso al abrir el armario

L'accueil de la dame et la propreté.

Les tarifs des consommations, la bière à 5 euros est excessif.

L'engagement humanitaire de Sol et Javi, sans prosélytisme, l'equilibre appréciable entre leur disponibilité et leur discrétion .

Kamer was redelijk schoon en het lag op de route van de Camino. Plaatselijk kebab Ali is een aanrader!

Gastheer niet heel vriendelijk , niet gastvrij. Alles zat dicht toen we aankwamen hebben moeten kloppen. Uiteindelijk moeten bellen. Terwijl de beste man gewoon binnen zat. Pizza’s echt niet lekker en er leek schimmel aan de onderkant te zitten.

The host is very friendly and accommodating. The room was basic but had everything that we needed for one night on the camino. It was clean and comfortable. Initially it was a bit cold but a fan heater was provided and it quickly warmed up the room. The decor is quirky with interesting art and a small library and some games in the restaurant. The pizza we had there was really good.

It's was a nice quite hostel and the owners were very nice They cooked a fresh evening meal which was delicious and the room was really spacious

If I was to have a criticism it's nothing to do with the hosts but the town is very quite If you're someone looking for entertainment I'd still highly recommend the hostel
