Very good hostel and absolutely worth the price!

Es süßes kleines Hostel mit tollen Menschen! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und würde wieder kommen :)

Leider hat das Wasser im Bad nicht immer funktioniert, jedoch gibt es mehrere Bäder zur Auswahl sodass man tauschen konnte.

THE BESSTTTTT

Jazel, she was super welcoming and helping me about the tour and city. I could feel home while I was there. People were very social and I spend hours talking to them, sometimes went out together, had some noodle fight (traditional meal).

The restroom should have some improvements for sure. There was no toilet paper, and I had to buy tissue because I don’t get used to use just water

Location was great and close to the main strip with loads of food and bar spots and snorkelling with sardines. The staff is really what made it! The lady who checked us in and looked after us was so nice and helpful. She gave us her WhatsApp number and she always responded very fast and tried her best to help us organise tours, mopeds or anything else we needed, like laundry.

There are little ants going around but it’s manageable and not a huge deal

Room was fine size wise similar to others we had stayed in. Staff are always around the area. Location is 10 mins walk from centre of Main Street.

Disappointing there was no hot water available for showers at all. It’s the first place we’ve stayed in the Philippines without this. Even for a budget stay I would expect hot water. Our toilet also had no toilet seat…. I had to ask the staff about this then we got a loose toilet seat to put on top. We also didn’t get any toiletries like soap. It was very noisy at night even though our private room was right at the back, a large Filipino group were staying in the dorms and blasting music from the speakers at reception and it was like we were in the same room. Not ideal when we had canyoneering early next morning. This wasn’t advertised as a big party hostel so I didn’t think we’d have an issue with noise.

I like that the caretaker is approachable and the rest is always clean and smells good they also provide free coffee and Fresh cleaned towel that I am surprised because other backpack inn don't offer that. And the price is very much affordable.

Central location, one of the cheapest hostels in the area, comfy beds and Chery the super friendly owner who will assist you with everything, even making sure you don't overpay for motor rides :)

This hostel is a gem with the perfect location! They provide parking for guests, which is a huge plus for those traveling by car. The beach is just a short 5-minute walk away, making it super convenient for a quick dip or a day of sunbathing, night life. Right in front of the hostel, there’s a cozy coffee shop, a carederia. This hostel is ideal for travelers on a tight budget..

Like most of the establishments in the area doesnt have GenSet in cases of blackout. The staff are always ready to assist with anything you need tho..

The hostel was super clean and everything was tidy and orderly. The free drinking water and coffee was a huge bonus and the hostel was situated in a convenient location on Panagsama Road.

It wasn’t the most social of hostels, but the host was incredibly friendly, kind and always willing to talk about her country and her people, which I appreciated.

We did not have any problems while staying here and Jazel always made sure you were good! She is reachable and very communicative. The budget couple room had everything we needed and it was well worth the price. Thank you for all the help!

- Has water dispenser - Cold AC - Has 3 Bathrooms shared to everyone - Close to other places around Panagsama, may be a bit of a walk to others. - They got a few books you can borrow to read - Common area

- There’s a rental fee of 50 Pesos for the Bath Towel when it should be part of the amenities. - VERY THIN LINEN and Rough (Blankets), so the AC was so cold and we can’t even adjust the temperature due to some reason the staff said so we were uncomfortable sleeping due to the cold and thin linen. - They don’t provide KEYS for your room. - Blankets (VERY THIN LINEN) weren’t ready when we arrived, had to ask for it to be provided to us

The rooms were fine.

First: door in one of our rooms needs to be kicked in order to get in. It was a private room in the cornermost part of the hostel. Cr door was also not functioning properly. Second: The kitchen area was so dirty, slippers were everywhere, not sanitary at all. Third: the assigned personnel was not at all accommodating. We had 2 dorm rooms but only told us we can use 1 bathroom for all 12 people? She keeps knocking in the dorm rooms to collect payments when she can just wait for us outside, we were resting! Also, she is not polite. Asked her where to wash our feet since she stopped us from entering our room because we have sand on our feet (ofc we went swimming) she just said we wash "outside" no directions at all as to where the faucet is! My friends were very disappointed to when they were told not to adjust aircon temp because it might cause water dripping outside the room, i dont think it's our fault if facilties are not working well. We actually paid the right price only for us to be inconvenienced like this. Lastly, when we were about to check out, I asked her where to placr the food we prepared in separate plates for the poor strays. She told us to place it far from the hostel because she does not like feeding strays. "Samok man gud magpakaon ana nila pareha atong gipakaon ninyo gabii nangari nuon" the place was ok, the personnel was not

Everything is good. Every time I go to Moalboal I stop in Cheri hostel. Good stay, comfortable bed, good wifi, good location. I will comeback again

The room was really good, calm and comfortable. The host was really nice and helpful.

The back of the hostel, where the rooms are, is a bit messy with a kitchen and the clothes drying there.

My stay was great. Its a little far from the beach but its just 7 mins walk. They didnt offer toiletress, but i was able to ask for it! I think its not included. You have to ask for a towel also from the staff. The staff was nice. They have hot and cold drinking water. The have coffe station, too. The bathroom/shower room is nice. The bed and all are very comfortable. Def want to go back to maolboal.

You are welcomed and feel at home. Ate Jazel always make sure you are comfortable with your stay.

The property is very easy to find. Location is just 7 min walk to the center of panagsama beach. Property is clean. Aircon was so cold! Which we love so much. Staff are amazing! Free hot and cold water which is absolutely perfect!

Best thing about this place are the really friendly welcoming staff who help you out and give this place a family feel :) the dorms are decent and air conditioned and you can't beat the price and location :)

The staff were very friendly and checked in with me everyday, which was lovely. They helped with booking various things as well. They provided a small toiletries pack, tissue paper and free water refills. They can do laundry here as well. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioner worked perfectly. It's a short bike or tuktuk ride to the bus station. There's lots of shops and restaurants nearby

The shower was cold. The staff are keen to sell tours, so it's easier to find the cheapest option to do things online.

I like that my friends and I had the entire room to ourselves. It was a pretty decent place for its price.

Probably the kitchen area still needs improvement but didn't really bother us that much since we mostly eat outside.

The location is brilliant, just a 10 minute walk to the reef where you can see the sardines and turtles. Amongst all the restaurants and cafes Moalboal has to offer. The staff were really helpful throughout, got us a great deal on a bike for several days as well as free coffee and drinking water. Really strong communication throughout!

The rooms are fairly basic etc but the price reflects this. The hospitality from the staff more than makes up for this minor detail.

I like the ate who were in charge during my stay. Very helpful, accommodating and smiling! Easy to talk to and can help you whenever you have questions. The location is great also walking distance to the spots. The room was nice and clean. Didn’t have any problems of it. And plus! Free coffee! And towels too 😊 ありがとう、いい滞在でした！ Salamat!

the lady at the front desk is the best!she deserve a raise, she said she is new at her job and she went above and beyond her duties to make me feel at home, she made sure my room was clean before I came in, she was very helpful and was genuinely nice! I forgot to ask her name, she has highlights on her hair, she is just so nice!the rooms were clean, she put me in a room with other foreigners, I am lucky as they were mindful of sharing rooms with others.overall very good!the location is the best as it is not noisy.HIghly recommended!

Friendly staff. We stayed in the private room, which was small but comfortable. There is a small kitchenette area that the staff use but we were allowed to use as well. We could also use the drying line to hang wet clothes. Wifi was ok. Good location, walking distance to the water but not too near the busy area where are the nightlife is. Free coffee & drinking water. Towel provided. Also was given a disposable toothbrush, bar of soap and a shampoo sachet.

Lounge area in the front right by the road with a lot of traffic. They were doing some construction work whilst we were there so hopefully it will be improved to be a better chill area.

The location is beautiful, 5 minutes walk from the beach. The employees are very helpful in everything. The room, bed, bathroom are clean. The price is the best you can find in the region.

Location is excellent, very close to the activities, bars and restaurants. Room was exactly as described and pictured. WiFi was OK and the free coffee and water was nice.

Room a bit small, but we knew that before booking. Couldn't have the window open for airflow as there is no flyscreen and there are a lot of mosquitos outside the door/window area

I loved my stay here! I extended and stayed for a week. The owner is so kind and helpful with anything you could need. The beds are comfy, and water and coffee are provided! I would definitely recommend this place!!!

Good location on a busy street, I never had to wait for a shower, clean beds and bedrooms. Free soap, shampoo, and coffee.

Sardine run walkable, right by all the main restaurants in the Panagsama road area. Short ride to white beach. Staff always polite and happy to answer questions. Aircon works well, curtains great for the beds (on the bottom bunks only).

Water pressure could be a bit better in the bathrooms, but not a major issue.

Free use of kitchen, super helpful, English speaking staff, two super friendly cats roaming the vicinities (big plus), private beds in dormitory and fairly social. Lockers available (with no deposit!) if you ask the staff Good Wi-Fi and the location is close to the main beach where all the people go snorkelling. Hot and cold water available at all times.

No hand soap in the toilet. That’s about it. Highly recommended.

Staff is very friendly, Free water/tea/coffee. Close to restaurants. Beds are confortable and there is AC in the rooms so you can have a decent night.

No lockers in the facilities. Bathrooms could be a bit better - shower is close to the toilet and sink and there is no separation, so the floor is almost always wet.

Everything! The place is clean, close to everything especially the local restaurants around and the very crispy, juiciest affordable fried chicken. It’s also close to some of the local party clubs/pubs! Both ate and kuya were very accommodating.

Crazy amount of bugs in the room and bathroom due to the door having a gap in the bottom of the door. The common room is just a couple of seats next to the road. It is also loud in the mornings.

The staff was incredibly kind and available always, the rooms are extremely good value for money (aircon, comfy beds and curtains for the lower bunks). Showers are cold but it’s what you get in philippines for these prices (plus, it’s hot outside so not the worst thing)

Maybe I’d put curtains also for the higher bunks, and fix the showers on the right side of the hostel (they don’t work if someone is using the ones on the right)
