The only small downside was that we found the bed could have been a little more comfortable. Also, as this is a shared house, some noise from other guests can naturally be heard, although this is understandable given the setup.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The house is clean, nicely furnished, in a quiet neighborhood. The host is friendly and responsive. There is a metro station close by, that we found out only later and didn’t get to use it. The shared part is pleasant. The place feels like a youth hostel with shared bathrooms/kitchen/common areas, probably best if you are single and traveling alone.
The room was very small for 3 persons, no real space for open luggages. Our room was in the attic with a sloping low ceiling so we had to bend not to hit our head. It was hot in August, despite fans and open windows. From the map, it seems that the apartment is close to the airport. In practice, this is not that good. It takes 10 min by taxi. The taxi price and time are only slightly less than what we paid for a ride from the airport to the center of Bilbao. There are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, but they are small and not always open.

Arriving to a 40 degrees room in the attic with two small windows and two ventilators is dangerous. It is quite shocking the host would even rent this for humans, specially with two small children. I also think Booking should be checking what has been rented and under which conditions.

La chambre de 4 est très basse de plafond et il y fait chaud. C'est plus loin de Bilbao centre que ce que je pensais. Je trouve que c'est un peu cher, mais apparemment les tarifs à Bilbao sont assez élevés.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026The property was very well maintained and the room was a great price and comfortable. We had 5 people and we booked a room with 2 double beds and a twin bed. It was perfect for the short stay that we had. Additionally, the facilities, despite being shared, were very clean and we had no issues whatsoever. All the other guests were extremely respectful. The location was also fantastic. It was close to the train station and we were able to get to the downtown easily. Gerard, the host, was also incredibly helpful and friendly. He picked us up from the airport and explained how to get around once we settled in. He was in contact with us even before we boarded the flight to get to Bilbao so we knew exactly what to expect upon landing.

Cuando hice la búsqueda del lugar filtré que tuviese Parking, pero al llegar hubo un pequeño mal entendido por parte del anfitrión, por lo que tuve que dejar el vehículo en la calle, por dicha es un barrio muy seguro y tranquilo, razón por la cual no tuvimos problema alguno posteriormente.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Sitio increíble, acogedor, cerca del aeropuerto, camas comodísimas y el anfitrión nos ha recogido del aeropuerto, nos ha ayudado porque teníamos que ir al hospital, jamás olvidaremos algo así, recomendable 100% y más que eso, sitios así merecen la pena por el sitio y las personas que lo llevan.
Absolutamente nada, sitio excepcional y anfitrión aún más.

Reviewed May 10, 2026This property is well appointed 3 story town home. Main floor well stock kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals. Comfortable living room with tv and couches. 8 person dining room table and a shared two piece bathroom. Second floor has one full bathroom and 3 bedrooms. Third floor one full bathroom and 2 large bedrooms. Our room on the third floor featured 2 queen size beds and one single. All with upgraded linens, pillows and towels. The owner greeted us and filled us in on all aspects of our stay which was greatly appreciated. Excellent location with services within walking distance. Airport tower can be seen from the driveway but the route circles the airport to the opposite side making it a 15 minute drive. I highly recommend this accommodation over any hotel stay. Just be aware and comfortable that there are shared facilities which not all travellers are accustomed too but enables a much more personalized enhanced travelling experience. 5 stars all around and excellent value.

La casa es muy bonita y tal y como se anuncia. Las camas eran cómodas, el salón, comedor y la cocina muy espaciosos y un jardín muy pintoresco. Ha resultado una estancia muy agradable y acogedora. Muy recomendable, además está muy cerca de los transportes para llegar al centro y alrededores.

A seulement 10 min de l’aéroport. Plus sympa que les hôtels collés à l’aéroport. Très silencieux Et prix imbattable!
Oreillers trop durs! Merci de proposer qques oreillers supplémentaires plus mous. Mais le reste parfait!

I loved the house, and the location is so lovely, a quiet street with pink-flowered trees, it was so very nice. And our room had large windows to enjoy all of this. Reviewed Apr 12, 2026The name suggests proximity to the airport, which is not true. It takes 7 km with no connection other than Taxi. You are better off looking for something in Bilbao close to the bus terminal Intermodal. Else the property is appealing, Lila a house. The bed / mattress was worn out and gave me bad sleep. The location is in the middle of nowhere where you do not want to be.
The house looks nice. Service was remote, but well organised.
