Malaga Hotel

The staff are nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the restaurant is very good.

1. There is no WI-FI in the rooms. The network is very poor and we had to use our SIM for the internet (we also change rooms to get closer to the reception where the WI-FI is but it didn't help) 2. There was a very very bad smell outside the rooms.

This Hotel has not been renovated, I stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and nothing has changed in the rooms, the bathroom was the same, the shower was not great and there was a water problem The staff were friendly and check in was pleasant

Overall very likely to return and tell friends of our lovely stay

Beautiful gardens, they made a fire for us during dinner time, it was quiet when we were there, some of the staff were very friendly and helpful, good rooms.

Some of the staff were really not very friendly and it felt like anything we asked was too much to ask for. Some of the rooms also had some fixings in the room that didn’t work, like lights, telephones and subtle things which makes for a good hotel review.

Excellent accueil par une jeune femme responsable de la réception très sympathique et attentive. Chambre très confortable avec un balcon donnant sur un magnifique jardin avec de superbes vieux arbres. Bon restaurant.

Paving needs replacing in all passageways, it looks terrible. Bathroom in Rooms need a complete revamp, the old original tiles have just been painted over. The duvet was lumpy. Stairways leak rain, no one wipes it up, slip hazard. Lights at dressing table are not bright enough for ladies to apply make up. Emergency exits on upper floor are wired closed, rendering them useless. Emergency exit sign outside room 210 hanging by one cable (despite someone out to change a light bulb there same day) Paddle courts were a waste of money that could have been used to revamp the hotel. No one uses the. There is too much screaming around pool from kids, this is supposed to be quiet tranquil relaxing area. No sign to say please respect others. Still no jacuzzi working.

The staff were amazing. Considerate and helpful. They all went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

Breakfast and diner were very good. Room was only average and urgently needs improvement (renovation), especially the bathroom. Location was great, with very nice garden.

Il est indiqué qu'il existe une carte de menus. En l'occurrence, un simple buffet avec très peu de choix, quelques petits morceaux de poulet avec des pommes de terre tièdes.... Bref,un buffet très décevant facturé au delà du raisonnable avec un verre de vin infect.... Conclusion : un établissement hôtelier pour une nuit,mais pas au-delà.. .

Restaurant was fantastic . The staff were super friendly and just went out of their way to make our one night as memorable as can be.

We had no plugs working and zero water. To be fair we were offered another room last night because of the electricity issues. We were moved this morning so that we could shower

The room was exactly what I expected. The staff was friendly and understood us very well in terms of what we required or expected.

One thing that we did not like with our room was that we did not have the fridge as shown in the pictures and we enquired about it and we only got it on our last night. Our last day breakfast was not what we expected, we expected to have a buffet breakfast like our first morning, but we were then told that there were not many guests and therefore we should order from the menu of which we did not like.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Malaga Hotel over the weekend, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I also really appreciated the little touches – from the fresh linens to the complimentary refreshments. The hotel’s location is fantastic, with easy access to the highway (N4) , yet still peaceful and relaxing. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape or a base to explore the area, Malaga Hotel is a perfect choice. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

This hotel is superb! I love how conveniently located it is next to the N4 highway; after checking out, the highway was less than 30 seconds away. I also love the fact that the property is well managed, and that everything that needs to be communicated, is done so with efficiency and ease.

After flushing, my toilet would make a noise that would stay on for a while.

We were looking for overnight accommodation as a pitstop to Hazyview. What a gem we found.... The staff were brilliant from check in, to waiters, to cleaners and gardeners. The food was immaculate. Would highly reccomend a stay here. We will definitely visit again. Tranquil and peaceful.

The water was not hot and we were asked to go shower in another unit , this just made it inconvenience.

Great facility, love the aesthetic of the place, rooms are clean and the garden view is everything.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Great views as well. The staff were friendly and efficient, from Refilwe who assisted from the booking until we checked out, to Fufu in the restaurant and the bar including the cleaning staff.

The little downside is that it's remote; if you're traveling with kids and you urgently need shops you have to travel more than 30 kilometers because the nearby towns don't have much variety.
