Roofers Rest

Absolutely amazing felt like home from home

everything such an exceptional space

nothing

The house was more than comfortable, also, it was very close to shops and town centre.

Location was excellent very close to the town

Nothing everything was perfect

Great stay. The house was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Everything was well prepared for our arrival and matched the description perfectly. The property was quiet, cosy and ideal for a short break. Check-in was straightforward and hassle-free, and we had a very comfortable two-night stay. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily stay again and recommend it to others.

I love it homely it felt, and great communication with Edel. Great location with shops nearby and close to bus station and facilities were great also.

No faults

Small touches to make it a home from home feel

Fantastically spacious and easy to use by 2 damp cyclists. Very well equipped and spacious. It would be really good for a family. Very good value and very responsive host thank you

Casa totalmente equipada y muy bien ubicada. Nos sentimos súper cómodos.

So clean, great location for where I was going, very well set up for guests.

The town was walking distance away. After a long drive around the causeway coast it was nice to park the car for the evening. We only stayed one night but for longer stays there is a washing machine and tumble drier in the house.

After two weeks of travelling, it was lovely to have a whole house to ourselves. Very comfortable and a well-stocked kitchen. Only slight downside was problem with the hot water but this didn't actually matter since the shower worked very well. We were sad to leave.

It felt like home from home, comfortable and clean

Good location for north coast and Belfast.

House was cold when we arrived

Beautiful house, very cosy and it was spotless! Would defiantly recommend and will be staying here again.

Nothing, everting was 10/10!!

Great place to stay. We enjoy our stay. Thanks so much for accepting dogs. The enclosed garden was really lovely.

Bed in single room not comfortable. Floors a bit creaky upstairs. Front exterior not as nice as the interior.of the house.

Close to amenities Comfortable house for family with children Had everything we needed for our overnight stay

It was so comfortable. We felt like we were home. Feel went over and above for us.

It was great location - easy to find - clean with Netflix , beautiful gardens , clean functional house .

Well equipped house, well situated to the town.

The house is lovely. Off road parking. Easy access to the key and getting in. Great location. The town is also lovely to walk around. Edel has thought of everything making the house very comfortable! Nice shower, good WiFi, lovely tv with netflix ect, comfy beds, nice sheets, great kitchen (I am jealous of the fridge and wanted one for myself!). We were a family with a 2 year old and she also loved it and called it home whilst we were on holiday.

Nothing.

I loved the house, it was clean and had everything at hand. The washing machine didn’t work but we were only there for a couple of days. We advised the vender for future visitors as the property has a lovely garden and clothes line to dry clothes. The garden itself was fully enclosed and very pretty. We did notice a dog bed in the washing machine corridor and thought it would be a perfect house/garden for anyone with pets but am not sure, if offers that service.

Although we were only there for a few days, it was a shame the washing machine didn’t work however, we never asked the vendor to fix for us, so they didn’t have an opportunity to show us their immediate response to remedy. I’m sure they would have of asked as everything else was lovely

This house is stunning! We were up with our dog trialing and didn’t expect to get such a lovely house that allowed dogs! I wish we stayed longer! Spotlessly clean cannot fault a thing! There was board games and jenga in the sitting room which we enjoyed while watching Netflix!

The house was perfect.

Location, Well equipped, big TV. Clean & tidy. Pleasant lady host.

Couldn't get the heating working.

Edel is a fantastic host! We loved staying at Roofers Rest. It's a great central location for exploring Northern Ireland. The house is spacious and well equipped with everything you need but it is also comfy and homely.

Ideal location for visiting family

Walking distance to magherafelt

Had to clean surfaces & floor on arrival. Heating did not work & house was very cold.

Great house, perfect location and lovely and clean. Big master bedroom with space for a travel cot.

Great location. Very cosy and clean. Lovely enjoyable stay. Plenty of space. Good value for money.

Everything the house was lovely

It was clean and great location everything you needed will be back again for sure

Everything was great fantastic location town centre just a few minutes walk.

The property was exactly what we needed. It was a good price and had lots of room and great facilities.

Unfortunately, the tea towels, sheets and towels weren't clean enough. The carpet needed hoovered also.

House was so clean. Had all essentials and more. Netflix on TV. Lovely and cozy like a home away from home.

The location was terrific. Close to the shop and local restaurants etc. Easy parking and just a beautiful home from home. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

To be honest, nothing. We loved the property and the area.
