Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Es ist ein ganz besonderes Häuschen mit viel Liebe sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Die Besitzerin hat uns mit Käse, Brötchen und Kompott überrascht.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Die Unterkunft war sehr erholsam und inmitten von unberührter Natur wunderschön gelegen. Eine echte Oase der Ruhe. Trotzdem kann man mit dem Auto kleine und charmante Städte erreichen. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett und kontaktfreudig. Wir bekamen selbst gebackene Brötchen und selbst gemachte Marmelade vorbei gebracht! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026We spent two wonderful nights in the lovely house located in the side wing of the estate. The interior design is absolutely stunning—so bright, full of natural light, and tastefully furnished. Everything felt incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped for our needs. We were also pleasantly surprised by the host's thoughtful hospitality, receiving delicious fresh rolls, butter, and drinks upon arrival. The surroundings are incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. We loved walking around the historic buildings, surrounded by nature, birds, and rabbits running around. A truly relaxing experience—highly recommended!
Note that the bathroom is only accessible through the ground floor bedroom.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Wir hatten schon viele schöne Unterkünfte, aber diese war eine der schönsten. Ausserdem war es der freundlichste und wärmste Empfang jemals. Ansonsten ist alles wie vorgeschrieben einfach so entzückend,sauber und liebevollst dekoriert. Wir haben schöne Ausflüge gemacht. Wir kommen wieder. Das Haus hatte so eine wunderbare Athmosphäre. Pia sei unendlich Dank.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Our stay at Gartnerhuset was an absolute pleasure and joy. Thank you so much to our great host who made us feel highly welcome at the first minute, treating us to homemade bread and preserves and providing lots of advice on activities and places to see. The historic garden house has been so very tastefully and cozily restored, combining natural materials with stylish modern functionalities and preserving the unique spirit of the place in its wonderfully atmospheric setting next to the manor house and beautiful gardens.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2025Warme ontvangst door eigenaresse Pia die ons de accommodatie liet zien en diverse lekkere dingen had neergezet, zoals heerlijk versgebakken brood. De omgeving is prachtig, je verblijft op een echt landgoed. Het huis is comfortabel ingericht, erg sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien. De locatie is ideaal om het oostdeel van Jutland te ontdekken. Waar wij in het bijzonder van genoten hebben was de enorme gastvrijheid van Pia, de uitgebreide gesprekken die we met haar hebben gevoerd en de rondleiding door haar eigen woonruimte(s), waarbij we haar eigen schilderijen en kunstwerken mochten bewonderen. Pia, grote dank daarvoor!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Very beautiful house surrounded by a huge lovely garden. Very friendly and helpful host. We loved the place. Highly recommended if you are looking for a calm apartment close to Aarhus.
The only drawback is that the access to the bathroom is through one of the sleeping rooms. Perfect for two people, but not ideal for 3 or 4 people.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025Ein wunderschönes kleines Häuschen, das sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet ist. Das gesamte Landgut mit parkähnlicher Anlage war sehenswert und ruhig. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und hat uns mit selbstgebackenem Brot und kleinen Köstlichkeiten empfangen.
Einziger kleiner Haken: Das Bad ist nur durch das Schlafzimmer zugänglich, was je nach Konstellation nicht optimal ist.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2025Absolutt alt ved stedet var over all forventning. Vertskapet var utrolig hyggelige og imøtekommende. Vi følte oss meget velkommen. Stedet er helt vakkert. Selve "Gartnerhuset" var også fantastisk. Vi bodde 4 netter med en 5-åring som storkoste seg i parken og på eiendommen. (Vi fikk tilogmed besøk av en liten reveunge i solnedgangen) Fint utgangspunkt for diverse utflukter. Anbefales på det sterkeste. 👍👍👍

Reviewed Jul 8, 2025Die Inhaberin Pia hat uns sehr freundlich mit frischen Erdbeeren, Sekt und Leckereien empfangen. Das Haus ist traumhaft eingerichtet und entspricht zu 100% den dargestellten Bildern, wir wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Einfach nur schön und erholsam! Der Garten ein Traum, ruhige Lage, trotzdem ist Aarhus in 20-25 Minuten zu erreichen., was will man mehr??
Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden!

A truly special place, with artfully appointed, light-filled rooms, on the beautiful grounds of an historically rich manor house. Room to wander, enjoy nature, art, and history. Very peaceful yet close to town. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The guest cottage is professionally designed, well appointed with every last detail considered. Linens, bedding and towels of the highest quality, beautiful soaps and scrubs in the bath, stylish yet comfortable lounge spaces inside and out. Pia redefines Danish hospitality - we cannot wait to come back!
