Pobyt w Coconut Homestay był dla nas idealnym połączeniem odpoczynku i natury. Z domku rozciąga się przepiękny widok na wulkan oraz otaczające go pola ryżowe. Fendi, gospodarz obiektu, jest niezwykle serdeczny i pomocny. Zabrał nas na wycieczkę po polach ryżowych i okolicznych, lokalnych miejscach, podczas której mogliśmy zobaczyć, jak wygląda zbiór ryżu i codzienne życie mieszkańców. Przez cały pobyt mogliśmy liczyć na jego pomoc. Każdego ranka Fendi przygotowywał dla nas również przepyszne śniadania. Sam domek ma cudowny, kameralny klimat. Zdecydowanie polecamy Coconut Homestay.

De locatie is fenomenaal: middenin de rijstvelden en omringd door bananenbomen met uitzicht op de Rinjani vulkaan. Beter kan niet! Fendi heeft me een hele dag op sleeptouw genomen, hij is een hele behulpzame lieve guide.

Verwacht geen luxe, het is een basic huisje met alle benodigdheden wat in de omgeving past.

A genuine home stay feel! Fendy is an amazing host, with the most welcoming smile, and he saw to our every need happily. He’s a great cook, breakfast is included, and for other meals you can order from his menu. The bed was comfy enough, the Rinjani views amazing!

It was ok for us, not a problem, but travellers should be aware the steps up to the room are fairly steep and the bathroom is downstairs. Also, as expected in a Muslim country, the sounds from the surrounding mosques are quite noticeable.

De moskeeën eromheen vonden we erg luidruchtig. Als je een goede slaper bent, heb je hier geen last van.

Unglaublich tolle Unterkunft. Wunderschöne Gegend, ruhig, stilvoll eingerichtet und einen traumhaften Blick vom Balkon oben.

L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter la région, Fendi est aux petits soins, cuisine excellemment bien et donne toujours de très bons conseils ! Le logement est agréable, offrant une vue superbe des rizières et du Rinjani au lever du soleil. Avec Fendi « everything is possible » et toute sa famille est incroyable !

Everything was perfect

Fendy was incredibly firendly and so poliste, kind. He invited me to their family house for dinner and explained many things about Indonesia and Tetebatu. He prepared breakfast everyday with care . I felt so comfortable in this place . The house is litterly in the rice fields . Waking up in this beautiful view and my neighbor Geko’s sound was amazing !

If you don’t put your expectations so high , you can be happy in this lovely place. You should remember that you are in nature and we are not alone in the nature :)

Zum Ende meiner mehrwöchigen Indonesien-Reise war ich für zwei Nächte zu Gast bei Fendy und das war für mich der perfekte Abschluss! Die Lage in den Reisfeldern, der wunderschöne Ausblick, der leckere Kaffee am Morgen, die Ausflugstour per Roller mit dem Gastgeber … für mich hat einfach alles gestimmt!

J’ai passé un séjour exceptionnel ! Le lieu offre une vue 360 à coupé le souffle des champs de riz et du Mont Rinjani, mais ce qui a rendu mon voyage inoubliable est la rencontre avec Fendy qui est très à l’écoute. Il m’a mise directement à l’aise et m’a permis de visiter les alentours de la région, aventures garantis. Je recommande les yeux fermés et je reviendrai !

Una casetta molto carina proprio in mezzo alle risaie. Personale gentilissimo, sempre disponibile e buona cucina.

La posizione è molto isolata, senza motorino a noleggio non si può fare proprio nulla, ma la struttura provvede al noleggio molto velocemente.

Die Lage war überragend und die Besitzer super hilfsbereit. Top Ausgangspunkt um die Umgebung zu erkunden.

Le cadre vraiment très agréable, l’accueil que réserve Fendi à ses hôtes, les excursions qu’il propose et ce toujours avec le sourire ! Nous avons passé un moment hors du temps avec vue sur le Mont Rinjani. Mention spéciale pour les infusions maisons et pour les plats proposés par Fendi qui est un excellent cuisinier (les meilleurs plats de notre séjour !)

Tout: la cabane, l’emplacement, la terrasse, Fendy et sa gentillesse, et en prime Kiko le chaton!!!

We felt very comfortable at Fendi's place with his cat Kiko, and the view of Mount Rinjani is beautiful. The room itself is simple but very comfortable and cozy. We would definitely come back again.

There is nothing we did not like.

We verbleven 2 nachten in Coconut Homestay. We kwamen vrij laat toe maar Fendi maakte ons nog een heerlijk maal. ‘s Ochtends ontwaakten we met een prachtig uitzicht op de rijstvelden en de Rinjani. We deden ook een tour met Fendi tussen de rijstvelden en watervallen. We zagen ook de bruine en grijze aapjes. Het was een zalige tour, Fendi geeft heel veel uitleg en je kan hem alles vragen. Ook op het verblijf is niets aan te merken: de badkamer is proper, het bed comfortabel, drinkbaar water ter beschikking en het ontbijt heerlijk. Kiko, de huiskat van Fendi, maakte het verblijf helemaal af. Zeker boeken!

Our stay at Fendi's place was truly amazing. Waking up between the rice fields and coconut trees is magical. We went on 2 tours with Fendi where we saw and learnt so much about the Tetebatu way of living. We had an amazing dinner at his homestay as well. Really a 'come as guests, leave as family' experience. Thank you Fendi!

Wat een fantastische plek, je komt heerlijk tot rust midden in de natuur. Fendy, de gastheer, wil je echt op alle mogelijke manieren gelukkig maken en regelt alles tot in de puntjes! Hij gidst je naar alle prachtplekjes in de omgeving, regelt een lift ergens naartoe en kookt iedere dag heerlijk ontbijt en bij wens ook diner. Eten om van te dromen!!

Je verblijf is niet het meest modern, ja er zijn wat kiertjes in je kamer en deze bevat dus soms een beestje. Maar er word hier een hoop tegen gedaan en je hebt er dus op geen enkele manier last van. Daar tegenover staat dus een pracht huisje midden in de rijstvelden!

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis bei Fendi' s Homestay zu übernachten. Fendi ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Er hat für uns gekocht, mit uns sich unterhalten und sogar ein Ausflug zu der Reisterrasen und Monkeyforest organisiert. Das Haus war nur für uns, einfach, aber hat alles was wir gebraucht haben. Frühstück war sehr lecker mit einem tollen Ausblick auf Vulkan.

Al Coconut Homestay ci si sente davvero in famiglia. L’accoglienza di Fendy è stata fantastica: ci ha accompagnati alla scoperta di Tetebatu offrendoci un’esperienza autentica e indimenticabile. La struttura ha una sola camera, quindi Fendy sarà completamente a vostra disposizione. È piccola ma molto accogliente, con una vista splendida sui campi coltivati dalla sua famiglia. Colazione e cena, preparate da lui, sono ottime e genuine. Il secondo giorno si è anche offerto di prestarci il suo scooter per raggiungere il supermercato. Un soggiorno semplice, autentico e speciale. Super consigliato!

Jeg hadde et helt fantastisk opphold på dette homestayet i Tetebatu! Fendy som driver stedet tok imot meg med en utrolig varme og gjestfrihet – jeg følte meg i varetatt og virkelig hjemme fra første stund. Han gjorde alt for at jeg skulle ha det bra, og delte villig både sin kultur og sitt hverdagsliv. Jeg fikk bli med til landsbyene rundt, hvor vi lærte hvordan de lager vakre produkter av bambus og tradisjonelle saronger- og til og med risvin. Det var en unik og autentisk opplevelse som ga meg et innblikk i lokale tradisjoner på en ærlig og respektfull måte. Han introduserte meg for deler av familien sin, og du opplever en varme fra første stund selv om mange av de ikke kan engelsk. De deler på det de har. Høydepunktet var en uforglemmelig dag ute i rismarkene og skogen. Vi vandret mellom grønne risåkre, møtte nysgjerrige aper og oppdaget vakre blomster langs stien – alt ledsaget av Fendy, som villig delte kunnskap og historier. I tillegg fikk jeg delta i å lage mat med Fendy begge dagene jeg var der. Han er en fantastisk kokk og læremester. Siden jeg reiste alene var det ikke noe problem for han og henge med meg på kvelden, vi spilte UNO, delte historier og koste med kattene til familien. Dette stedet er mer enn bare et overnattingssted – det er en opplevelse fylt med kjærlighet, varme og ekte nærhet til naturen og kulturen i Tetebatu. Anbefales på det sterkeste til alle som ønsker noe mer enn bare en vanlig reiseopplevelse! Takk Fendy, for at du er en så varm og kjærlig vert!

The most wonderful stay we have ever had! The homestay is situated among the rice fields with a breathtaking view of Mount Rinjani. The shower is lovely, and everything is perfectly clean. On top of that, Fendy, the host, guides you through the wonders of Tetebatu and introduces you to the local culture and people. It has truly been one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Lastly, Fendy is a fantastic cook and goes out of his way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. We truly appreciate these days and will never forget them!

The Coconut Homestay in Tetebatu is an absolute gem. It’s run by Fendy, a young man truly dedicated to making his guests feel at home. He’s built a cozy cottage right in the middle of the rice fields, and the 360-degree view from the upper terrace and even from the bed is simply breathtaking. You can watch the sunrise over the surroundings, and the soft morning light gently settles on Mount Rinjani and the rice fields – it’s pure tranquility. The bed is wonderful, and the entire experience is a perfect blend of simple living with a luxurious view and a sense of calm. On clear days, you can even see Mount Rinjani from your bed. Fendy is always available, provides a delicious breakfast, and can cook meals if you request. He offers very fair prices and even took me to a local wedding during my stay. As a photographer, I already knew the area well, but he still showed me places I hadn’t discovered yet. Er hat ein gemütliches Häuschen mitten in den Reisfeldern gebaut, mit einem atemberaubenden 360-Grad-Blick von der oberen Terrasse und sogar vom Bett aus. Die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft und sorgt für pure Entspannung. Es ist einfaches Leben mit einem Hauch von Luxus dank der unglaublichen Aussicht und dem Komfort des Bettes. An klaren Tagen kann man den Rinjani direkt vom Bett aus sehen, was ein wirklich magisches Erlebnis ist. Fendy ist immer erreichbar und bereitet ein wunderbares Frühstück zu. Er kocht auch gerne andere Gerichte auf Anfrage, zu absolut fairen Preisen. Während meines Aufenthalts hat er mich sogar zu einer lokalen Hochzeit gebracht und mir noch versteckte Orte gezeigt, obwohl ich die Gegend schon gut kannte, da ich Fotografin bin.

Cabane en plein milieu des rizières en immersion totale avec la nature. Vue superbe Fendy est d’une extrême gentillesse et sincérité , il est dévoué au confort de ses clients. Mention spéciale au Gado Gado qu’il cuisine, un délice Fendy nous a egalement fait decouvrir Tetebatu, ce fut une très belle promenade hors des sentiers battus (moyennant 600k IDR)

A savoir, comme partout à Lombok, on entend les multiples appels à la prière (mais Fendy donne des bouchons d’oreilles)

Si tratta di un alloggio singolo letteralmente immerso nel verde delle risaie. La camera è piccola ma accogliente, il bagno molto carino con una piacevolissima doccia calda. Abbiamo noleggiato uno scooter presso la struttura stessa, e ci hanno procurato un taxi quando siamo partiti. Il proprietario può anche cucinare per voi, e i pasti sono ottimi, fatti tutti con ingredienti che vengono dal suo orto.

Immersion totale dans les rizières, un vrai havre de paix. Dîner et petit déjeuné préparés par l’hôte étaient excellents. Une vraie perle rare. Je recommande fortement. L’expérience est unique.

Best homestay in Tetebatu. Food was so good we didn't want to go anywhere else, and Fendi also provides the tour of the waterfall and rice terraces and even hooked us up with some local rice wine and took me with his scooter to go pick up some beer. Location pictures speak for itself, mountain view with rice fields on both sides. Hope to see you again brother. Apakadabra ;)

Fendi is a great cook, thoughtful host and good guide! (and the shower is great!) Fendi, you're an amazing host and great guide, making sure we have everything we need and even more. You built a little paradise, and showed and taught us about your village and culture. We had such a great time with you. Be proud of what you realized with Coconut Homestay, because it made our trip to Lombok so special and memorable!

Unique experience

A perfect view on all sides nestled in a beautiful paddy field. The host was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed and he is a amazing chef as well so the food was 11/10 for us. The shower works perfectly with hot water and good pressure :D . Definitely worth staying here if you have the chance to.

We had a wonderful time at Coconut Homestay! 10/10 would recommend to book a guided tour with Fendy, the host. He knows every corner of Tetebatu and shares a lot of insights. Additionally, he is a kind soul and warmhearted person with a bright smile. He built the accommodation by himself and learnt English by himself - a smart entrepreneurial mind. It was a an absolute pleasure meeting him as a person.

The location of the homestay was perfect and the view was unbelievable! Fendi showed us around in Tetebatu and we learned a lot about the place. You should the gado gado from Fendi, it is really tasty. 😊

I stayed at Coconut Homestay for two nights, and it was a truly unique experience. The hut, set right in the middle of a beautiful rice field, offers a peaceful and authentic escape into nature. Not only did he prepare amazing home-cooked meals and tea, but he also took great care of me when I was feeling unwell. His kindness and hospitality helped me recover, making my time there much more comfortable. Wow what a lovely place to stay!! The house was comfortable with a large bathroom and the surroundings were beautiful!! Fendy is a great guy - he organised transport for us both from Kuta to Coconut and then to Mataram. He made excellent breakfast for us and when I asked for a coconut he literally climbed the tree and picked one for me! He even came out at night to guide us to the house with a flashlight. Fendy also took us around Tetebatu, to see the weaving process, how bamboo is used, and then the following day took us on a walking tour through the rice fields to see a waterfall and the monkey forest. He also provided a scooter and recommendations for dinner. This is definitely a must do in Tetebatu, Fendy will take care of you for the duration of your stay and make it a memorable experience. Thank you Fendy :)

We stayed two nights in coconut homestay and had a wonderful time. The house is in the middle of the nature in the rice fields. Fendy build it with a lot of love. Everything is very clean and the hot shower is a dream 😊 fendy took us on a trip through the rice fields and the monkey forest. We were able to join the rice harvest which was a special opportunity. In the evening he even invited us to join a family gathering which was amazing to see the culture. Everyone in tetebatu is just incredible nice. Fendy is also a really good cook. The breakfast was really delicious and on the second evening he cooked a superb diner for us. We can't thank fendy enough for this amazing experience we had in tetebatu.

Everything was perfect. The house is located in a beautiful property and feels very private. The view overlooking Mt. Rinjani is one of the prettiest I have seen. My stay at Coconut Homestay was purely magical thanks to Fendy, the host and owner (kindest human ever). He truly makes you feel like part of his family and is an amazing cook. Hands down the best traditional Indonesian food I ate in my 4 weeks of travelling. Fendy also takes you to nearby local places that are a must-visit at Tetebatu. Would recommend this stay with my eye’s closed.

A great place to stay in the middle of the rice fields with an amazing view of Mount Rinjani. Fendy is always available and provided us with coffee and tea all time. The food was also great and we were even allowed to help cook a traditional dish. He also organized a scooter for us.

Incredible homestay! Location is perfect. In the middle hof the family’s ricefields. You have a view on Rinjani from the back and a view like out of a movie from the front. The host and his family are super friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable. Room is very clean and the matress is great. You should come and enjoy this while you can!

Do yourself a favor and stay with Fendy. He constructed the house himself and it is definitely underpriced. This is my favorite home in Indonesia the views are impressive. He is very hospitable and fair with prices. Overall aesthetically pleasing and sustainable. The bathroom is modern with hot shower. Great guy!!!

I coincidentally landed in Coconut Homestay and got to know its host Fendi and it was a real fluke! If you search for an authentic and cultural experience, I can hardly recommend you to go to Tetebatu and stay some nights at Fendi`s creative Coconut Homestay! Fendi hosts his new business with a lot of dedication and passion and I felt at all times very well cosseted and safe! During my stay, Fendi, his cousin and Fendis family did everything to make me feel good and welcome! Every morning and evening, Fendi would cook fresh food with fruits and vegetables from his own garden. Every night he prepared a fresh coconut curry for me and he and his cousin would cook and eat with me! I loved staying in the little house and the surrounding nature was just breathtaking! The little house is simple put its very clean and there is nothing missing, and the house itself is constructed with a lot of love! During the day, Fendi took me with his Scooter to a private tour to discover the rice terraces and the waterfalls and I was even able to plant some rice with some women from the village. Fendis family was very friendly and I really felt as part of them! I really came as a friend and left as a family-member, their slogan!

If you want to experience the real lombok with locals go to fendy. His cousin and him are really friendly people and want you to feel good. They showed us around we made a hike through the ricefields and monkey forest to see some black Monkeys. Then we roasted some coffeebeans in traditional way. Next day we went fishing. They really want to make everything possible that you want to do. Really humbling experience, thanks again for your hospitality and time. Much appreciated 👍😊
