Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Przepiękny widok na góry, bardzo czysto, uprzejmy, pomocny personel, smaczne śniadanie. Obok swietny plac zabaw dla dzieci. Za hotelem na polanę rano przychodzi stado saren/jelonków- swietna sprawa. ;) Dobra baza wypadowa, cisza i spokój.

Uren lang vermaak in de speeltuin terwijl je op het terras geniet van de heerlijke kaart en dineert met een fenomenaal uitzicht. Gondel stopt naast de deur, zelf helaas geen tijd gehad voor een tocht naar boven aangezien we op doortocht waren. Hadden graag wat langer gebleven, enorme aanrader

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Tolles Restaurant mit ausgezeichneten Speisen. Doppelzimmer mit allem was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt braucht. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Location ist im Sommer wie auch im Winter sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025Hotel Flaschen – Wallis (oberhalb von Leukerbad) Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage oberhalb von Leukerbad. Ich war Anfang Oktober 2025 dort und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Zimmer und Restaurant waren einwandfrei – alles sauber und gepflegt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal: sehr freundlich, flexibel und professionell. Alle Anfragen wurden schnell und zu meiner Zufriedenheit erledigt. Für unsere frühe Abreise wurde sogar ein Frühstück vor dem regulären Beginn vorbereitet, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Die Auswahl im Restaurant bietet für jeden etwas. Es wird Wert auf regionale Produkte gelegt, und der Naturpark, in dem das Hotel liegt, wird aktiv unterstützt. Die Lage ist sehr gut: mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar, die Seilbahn befindet sich direkt neben dem Hotel, und zahlreiche Wanderwege starten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Nachts ist es absolut ruhig und dunkel – perfekt zum Schlafen. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und komme gerne wieder.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2024The place is on the top of the mountains. The view is breathtaking! Trully! The photos aint showing anything here. Go check in google streetview, thats a bit better, but still, you gotta be there to see it. You wake up and this magnificent mountain is right front of you! Its... just... amazing! The road that leads you to the hotel, literally, every time it was pure joy to drive through it. The breakfast is mainly made from local ingredients, it was really special, although not a huge variety. Being the guest of the hotel grants you a discount for the cable car nearby and for the bath down in the valley, but to be honest its still very expensive, so we skiped that instead, there are many cable cars in the region, and some better worth it.
The place was clean, but I found a dead spider in the corner (a nice and big one :) . As an experiment I left it there to see if the room service will take care of it... And it didnt. It left there for the whole stay. But its nitpicking I know. I asked the lady, if she could make me scrambled eggs for breakfast after she said she is keen to help, and just let her know if I need anything (before breakfast), cause "she has a lot of time... ", and then she said no, right to my face. She wasnt rude! She just wasnt nice either. It would have been a nice touch, but anyways. The restaurant is a fancy one at the hotel for sure. We wanted to try it, but the prices scared us away... Way beyond the normal and acceptable price range... But well, we can say, the food in Switzerland is very expensive everywhere, except in the supermarkets. So prepare for 35-45 EUR meals if you wanna dine in any kindof restaurant! The rest of the travel is more or less affordable, I'd say.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2023Small family run hotel in a wonderful rural location at base of a cablecar which runs until about 4pm. Free hourly bus service to Albinen and to Leukerbad with journey time of 10/15 minutes. Restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff.
