Very well decorated old colonial house, in a quiet street in the Candelaria, ~15 min walk to the Plaza. The bed is extremely comfortable, room is clean, breakfast was very good and fresh and we liked the fact that we could sit with others on a big table for breakfast. Giving it a lower score (it deserves a 9) because of the check in experience (below).

Unfortunate check in experience… we arrived late (around 11:30pm), I had sent a message on booking and WhatsApp to inform them of the arrival time and did not get an answer. We get there and there’s no one. I find another number to call (not on WhatsApp). In the end we have to wait around 45min in a nearby cafe that was closing, the person kept it open for us, and the hotel did not offer to pay for our consumption to compensate for the delay. They apologized but a small gesture would’ve been nice given how late it was; or they should send a message ahead of time stating that there’s no 24/7 reception for guests to manage.

Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft war super. Das Bette hatte sehr angenehme Wärmedecken. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Séjour dans un endroit charmant et un accueil très chaleureux.

O hotel possui excelente localização, próximo à maioria das atrações de Bogotá. Trata-se de uma casa histórica que foi adaptada à hotelaria, com quartos confortáveis e um pátio interno muito bonito típicamente da arquitetura colonial colombiana. Jairo é muito atencioso com os hóspedes, um grande diferencial. Café da manhã servido em mesa de vários assentos, que permite a interação entre hóspedes para quem gosta.

Pelo fato de ser brasileiro, e estar habituado à cafés da manhãs com variedade e muito fartos, foi necessário me adaptar ao café da manhã no sistema à la carte, com prato de frutas e omelete. Suco e café a vontade.

Tout a été parfait ici. Très bien situé dans la candelaria pour pouvoir visiter l'ensemble des sites à pied. Même le départ du funicaire est facilement accessible à pied. Personnel très sympathique. Petit déjeuner super. Quel charme dans les chambres et l'ensemble de la maison!!

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Candelaria House Boutique. Besonders loben wollen wir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals hervorheben. Nach dem Erdbeben haben sie sich Zeit genommen, uns Tipps zu geben, wie wir unsere Reise anpassen können. Das Frühstück war gut und alle Gäste sitzen an einem Tisch, was zu interessanten Gesprächen führt.

Posizione ottima nel centro storico di Bogotá, si possono raggiungere le principali attrazioni a piedi. Posto elegante e ben arredato, pulizia ottima. Staff molto disponibile

Colazione un po' scarna, prezzo un po' più alto della media

Jairo es un magnífico trabajador y Camilo tiene mucho gusto a nivel arquitectónico y de diseño de interiores.

Si he de poner un pero diría que falta un poco de privacidad dependiendo de la habitación que te toque

La amabilidad de Jairo es excepcional, la habitación muy bonita y limpia, el desayuno increíble, definitivamente sería mi mejor opción para volver

Logement idéalement situé dans un quartier sécurisé. Nous avons pu tout visiter à pieds, y compris le Monserrate. Il est très bien équipé et le petit déjeuner inclus est un vrai plus !

Jolie maison coloniale au calme. La grande table du petit déjeuner (très bon) permet d’échanger avec d’autres voyageurs

Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas bon. La chambre sentait les égouts, il y a de la moisissure dans la salle d’eau. Même la serviette de toilette avait un trou. Le canapé de la chambre avait un trou. Maison de caractère mais un soin insuffisant par rapport au prix. Un peu excentré dans la candelaria.

The location, the host, and .the property's unique character. The shower has a nice flow and plenty of hot water.

There was a bad odor in one of the rooms we rented. The owner could not locate the source of the problem. Also, there was no fixture in the shower stall to keep a soap or shampoo bottle. We kept the soap dispenser on the floor.

Lovely, friendly hosts. Very pretty old building, an oasis of calm in a noisy busy city. My room was blissfully quiet. Breakfast was very good, with great coffee. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Bogotá than arriving in the evening to this place.

Unique little hotel in a central location. Surprisingly quiet considering location and I liked the focus on security. The room had everything I needed and a great breakfast included!

Right in the middle of the older town. Very quiet and felt very safe. The staff were lovely and fantastic breakfast.

This hotel was like a museum, beautifully and artistically appointed with comfortable social spaces throughout. The rooms were large along with the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. The breakfast was served at a gorgeously-set table, with eggs, fruit, fresh juice, potatoes. I love that they had a giant dispenser of filtered water to fill up our water bottles before venturing out for the day.

The entrance was a little difficult to notice, and the street felt a little sketchy at night. We had no incidences though, and it was quiet at night for sleeping.

Süßes kleines Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtet. Jairo ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, und macht morgens ein echt leckeres Frühstück.

The location was wonderful and atmospheric - beautiful street, and very close to several main attractions. The house itself was stunning - the hotel is located in a beautiful old building, and wonderfully decorated. The room was great, with a nice, stylish bathroom and big windows, which combined a modern, convenient feel with the atmosphere of the old town center. Breakfast was good (bonus points for the religious statues in the breakfast room), and communication with the staff was nice and clear.

One of us was too tall (1.90m) for the bed, so slightly bigger beds would have been nice.

The rooms were so well appointed. So cosy. I slept so well. It felt like you were in someone’s home - in the best possible way. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The dining room looked fabulous and it was lovely to meet and chat with fellow travellers at the dining table. Perfect location. Thank you for the great stay.

Super hôtel placé dans le centre historique, la candelaria, où on peut tout faire à pied. Le personnel a été super avec nous, nous a aidé pour toutes nos demandes avec bienveillance. Le petit déjeuner était bon et copieux. L’hôtel est familial et très joli, avec du cachet. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce lieu.

Nos encantó alojarnos aquí. Excelente ubicación, cerca de la plaza de Bolívar, pero muy tranquilo y silencioso el hospedaje. Preciosa decoración. El personal super amable y atento, nos sentimos muy bien atendidos. El desayuno sencillo y delicioso. Fruta, café o chocolate, jugo, huevos en la preparación de preferencia, pan. Bien resuelto. La habitación nos encantó, se ve y se siente como en las fotos. Muy limpia, cama cómoda, buenas almohadas, muy acogedora y linda. Volveré a hospedarme aquí en mi próximo viaje a la ciudad. De los mejores lugares para quedarse.

Tout est beau dans ce petit hôtel. La grande table de petit déjeuner, les assiettes, les meubles, la déco, les plantes… Douche bien chaude, couvertures chauffantes… Personnel très agréable. Aucun bruit. Emplacement au coeur de Candelaria.

Le cadre est joli, maison coloniale.

La chambre était beaucoup trop humide et la fenêtre ne s’ouvrait pas. Dans la salle de bain, aucune aération et aucune possibilité d’ouvrir la fenêtre non plus. Le petit-déjeuner n’est absolument pas varié, ce qui est très dommage. Le personnel, en revanche, était très agréable. Notre chambre donnait côté rue, mais cela n’était pas bruyant. Par ailleurs, lors d’un séjour de 5 jours, j’ai dû demander moi-même, au bout du 3ᵉ jour, le changement des serviettes de toilette pour mon mari et moi. À notre arrivée, nous avons également trouvé des cheveux dans le lit. Les chambres ne sont ni balayées ni nettoyées seul un changement de draps a été effectué au 3ᵉ jour. Au vu du tarif pratiqué et du niveau d’hygiène constaté, je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

Sehr schönes Zimmer und Badezimmer. Das Bett war bequem und hatte eine Heizung um das Bett zu wärmen was bei den kühlen Temperaturen sehr angenehm war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch sehr schön ist der Frühstücksraum und wo man an einem sehr schön gedeckten Tisch mit anderen Hotelgästen frühstückt.

Es ist schade, dass man das Fenster nicht richtig öffnen konnte.

We specifically booked a room with a fireplace and the advert and photos showed the room with the fire working, but upon arrival we found the fireplace was not available due to restrictions and were very disappointed that this was not updated on the advert or hotel had not advised us before/ changed the photos of the fireplace either fireplace in it. We paid extra for this room that starts with the advert saying- the standout feature of this room is the fireplace- which is incorrect. We would have booked a different lower price room if we had known.

De kamer was ruim en licht. Het ontbijt , vers fruit, fruitsap, scrambled eggs en toast, uitgeserveerd aan een perfect gedekte tafel was heerlijk. De gastheer was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Al met al een zeer fijn verblijf van 4 nachten.

Mattress was quite uncomfortable. I booked to stay 2 nights , but unfortunately I could not sleep the first night , because of the hard mattress so I left from the hotel and I booked an other place . Communication was difficult since they don’t speak English .

Magnifique ! Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par la qualité de cet hôtel, établi dans une maison coloniale entièrement restaurée avec un goût exquis et à quelques centaines de mètres du centre historique de Bogotá. Accueillis par don Jairo, très aimable et très disponible, nous avons également pu savourer un excellent petit-déjeuner servi dans une salle à manger décorée avec goût. Avant notre départ, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages pendant plusieurs heures. Assurément une excellente adresse où l'on peut se rendre en toute confiance. Nous y retournerons si un voyage nous fait repasser par Bogotá.
