It was a comfortable stay with great people, an amazing vibe with live music, and jamming. The rooftop cafe was one of the best experiences, where we played games, enjoyed free evening tea with the WBT hostel family, and the pasta and mojito tasted yummy! 🤤😄

I had a really lovely stay at Whereabout Hostel, Udaipur. The location is great and makes it convenient to explore the city. The host and the entire team were very helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. One of my favourite parts was the rooftop, especially the events there. Experiencing the rain in Udaipur from the rooftop was such a beautiful and memorable moment. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Udaipur!

I liked how responsive the staff was, they were ready to help whenever needed. They invited us for events being held at the hostel. It was a wonderful experience staying here.

The staff turned off our AC multiple times. There was a guy who was constantly molesting us about taking a tour with them the first day. The bathroom smelled of urine and the blankets smelled and had stains on them

Loved the hostel vibes. They organise group trips, jamming sessions, bollywood nights, wellness sessions etc. Location is good as well. They gave me a free upgrade from 6 Bed to 4 Bed Dorm which was a nice gesture. The people running the place are passionate and are doing a great job!

The rooftop vibe overlooking the lake is incredible, but the biggest highlight was joining the morning and evening tours organized by Bharatescapes—definitely the best way to explore Udaipur! got checked in very late because of the room not being vacant. AC was also not working. Washroom jet spray was broken and not changed even after repeated request. Room size is also very small for this price.

One of the best hostels I stayed at in Udaipur! I initially planned to stay for just 2 days but ended up staying for 7. The owner and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and were always there to help. The best part of my stay was the late-night jamming sessions on the terrace, where I got to meet so many amazing people and create unforgettable memories. I also loved the morning and evening walks. They were a great way to explore the area while spending time with fellow travelers. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The hostel was neat, well-kept, and had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 stay! This was my third time staying at Whereabout Hostel, and it keeps getting better. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rooftop café had some of the best views in Udaipur. I also joined their Sunrise & Sunset Tour, which was the highlight of my visit. The tour covered stunning viewpoints, hidden gems, and offered breathtaking views of the city. It was well-organized and worth every minute. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming environment for travelers. I would definitely stay here again whenever I visit Udaipur. What I liked most: Friendly staff, rooftop views, social atmosphere, and the amazing Sunrise & Sunset Tour. What I didn't like: Had to leave too soon!

Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike. If I had to mention something, it would be that my stay was too short. The friendly atmosphere, beautiful rooftop views, and amazing tours made me wish I had planned a few extra days in Udaipur. I'll definitely be coming back on my next visit.

Great location for this budget hostel.

I am giving a star less for the fact that towels were not ready in the room, they brought it at half past midnignt, waking us up, even though we asked for them several times earlier. Shouldn't they be there automatically? AC was not working even after manual adjustment from the staff. The processes around registration took hours (really) and it was necessary to fill some crazy forms before the accomodation and after the accomodation again.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The food was really good, and in the evening they had live music that was truly soothing yet lively at the same time. The guitar performance was absolutely beautiful and created such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. It made our evenings extra special and memorable. They also thoughtfully offered daily sunrise and sunset view point plans, along with full-day trip suggestions, which made our stay even more enjoyable and well-organized. Overall, we genuinely loved our experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Udaipur!

Pictures showed different room then what we got, however they allowed us move to the room we actually booked after 1 night without additional cost-that was fair and fine. King Room size was big and comfortable, and the bed too! We enjoyed our remaining time in that room. There is graet rooftop that have live music each evning ✌️

Queen room was not superior at all and had moldy smell,dirtyyyy washroom and tiny near ceiling windows that places exactly into staircase, oh the noisey walking of all other guests...you must be VERY deep sleeper if you book this room! The value for money for that room was no good in our opinion. Shower, toilet were dirty and definitely need much better cleaning. No towels, toilet paper, soup or Room lock provided.

This hostel is right in the middle of the city, nearest to all the famous spots, with great night vibes and a restaurant. The staff is very polite and always available to assist you. I even did an early check-in, and they let me have my work meeting in the common area without any issue. What I loved most was the vibe here – it matched exactly what I expected as a solo traveler. It’s perfect for making friends, traveling with new groups, and sharing new stories. I must say, if you’re not here for the hype but for the vibe, this place has the best arrangements at night. For music and art lovers, they always have the best surprises waiting.

I stayed here for 4 days, but unfortunately my bedsheet was never changed – not even once at the beginning. They only prepared it a single time for my entire stay. The bathroom was also quite dirty. The biggest issue I faced was the electricity cut. It wasn’t a general power cut in the area, but a problem limited only to my floor, which made it even more frustrating. That said, the place did meet many of my expectations from a hostel: a friendly environment, good vibe, and the best night-owl community. As they say, the price is not just for the place, it’s for the vibe – and that part was true.

The staff here was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay with them. All staff members including Abhishek, Mayank, Arnab and all other members were awesome. All other travelers were also great. The morning tour to the city highlights were good.

Property and place to live is very good location is the best part as it is very near to the spots which we should cover as a traveller in udaipur. Must visit for tight budget and to enjoy time we have in Udaipur. Flawless check in and I like it's paper less work feels very good to me.
