Good location, comfortable, everything we needed

Hosts, location and very engaging hosts who also showed us where everything was in the studio.

The fridge being under TV and not in kitchen area. This could be moved beside kitchen and rubbish bin put under it with existing table that the fridge sits on.

So clean! Great cottage . I loved the side yard gardens and the private garden table for breakfast and dinner. . Good location: I walked to the Main Street (1.5 blocks) for all my needs. John gave me nice easy instructions to get to Abel Tasman and Little Kaiteriteri, which were perfect.

There was nothing I didn’t like .

Modernes sauberes Apartment mit viel Platz und eigener Terasse, großes gemütliches Bett, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, sehr ruhige Lage. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Excellent location, 300m to main street, yet very quiet, lovely room and ensuite. Private deck to relaxin after a good days ride.

This was a generous space, with great privacy, yet immediate availability of the hosts. It was a bonus to have an outdoor space under cover.

This lovely pristine studio is a 5 minute walk from town which offers quaint shops amongst various food and drink outlets. John and Helena were perfect hosts with leaflets on hand for every outing from flights over fox glacier to cruise/walks in the Abel Tasman area. If I'm lucky enough to revisit the south island I'll be sure to give them a call. (There was even a sugar bowl for tea and coffee for those who have a sweet tooth like me!) 10/10 from me 👍

Was supen clean and close to town. Off street parking appreciated.

Was a bit of road noise but to be expected as it is on a main road.

Our host was very welcoming & showed us our private entrance to the studio. The studio & little outside area was spotless & we were able to relax without feeling overlooked. Only a short walk into Motueka & easy drive to Abel Tasman national park.

We would have liked to eat in the recommended restaurant in town, however it required advance booking. Not a problem, but would have been good to know

Everything. The minute we stepped in, we felt right at home. John and Helene shared useful recommendations with us and could not be kinder. The place is comfortable, spotless clean and close to all amenities while quiet. We would have loved to stay longer.

Breakfast not applicable. Excellent location for a 3-day stay to explore the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. On leaving, host provided great advice for a scenic route to Picton. Quiet secluded accommodation but with shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Well equipped with lots of power sockets!

Fabulous property with lovely outside area and excellent facilities. Lovely touch to provide tea/coffee, and milk on arrival.

Room is nice and warm, great garden. Kitchen is well equipped. Private parking area. Walking distance to town center. Host is kind and helpful.

The owners have created a lovely garden space at the back of their property in Motueka, which in turn is very close to Abel Tasman park. It is a very short walk from the center of town. The accommodations were extremely comfortable.

My only (minor) complaint, and it is a common one amongst many places we've stayed, is that the paring knife provided was extremely dull. Other than that I wouldn't change anything.

The host was very amiable, kind and friendly. We were offered to help if we need any. The garden was cosy, very quiet, private and comfortable. The facilities are new and all working well at high standards.

Lovely hosts. Nice garden house just outside of the main street and close to a supermarket. Nice 1 or more nights stop during a road trip.

It was only a short walk down the road to the Main Street. Was very quiet with our own private entrance. A large studio room at the back of the owners garden. Very private. Beautifully decorated with a lovely private covered deck to sit out on. Lovely modern ensuite and very well equipped kitchenette.

Excellent studio for 2 in a great location. The studio has been thoughtfully built to be comfortable with good materials, modern furnishings, plenty of natural light and space. The studio is easy to find, very central and essy to walk to town. Helena greeted us and showed us how to park before showing the essentials for our stay. We had a great stay and will recommend this studio to anyone travelling to Motueka. Thanks Helena for hosting us.

This was our best vfm stay in NZ. The photos don't really do it justice. Lovely secluded outside space where we could eat. Large, immaculate marbled bathroom with v strong shower.

The pillows on the bed were small and thin, which was a shame cause the bed was huge and comfortable

The studio is a small building in the garden behind the host couple's house. It was spacious and quiet, and we had our own roofed patio. Short walk to well-stocked supermarket and good restaurants.

It would be nice with a small sign in the street saying that this was indeed the place. We had some trouble finding it.

John & Helena were very welcoming; helpful with tips about where to go; went the extra mile to make our stay an excellent one. The apartment is thoughtfully kitted out and supplied, even down to filter coffee.

Exceptionally clean, and it’s clear the friendly hosts have put real thought and effort into designing and making this a cosy, comfortable and well appointed space. Loved the little private deck area.

The bed was a tiny bit hard for my taste, but that’s more of a personal issue.

Better cooking facilities n a proper spatchler, mabe a small oven.

This was by far the best accommodation we had booked. Very quiet accommodation, very comfy beds, enough space to move around, beautiful seated outdoor area and privacy. It was very clean, kitchen was very well equipped and short walk to shops and dining and a short drive to Kaiteriteri for Ferry boat / hikes in Abel Tasman Nat Park.

The location was great, easy walk to the bars/restaurants

Our favourite stay in New Zealand. John and Helena are lovely and so is the apartment. Great value! 10/10

It is only a brief walk to the centre of town.

Nothing. The accommodation is beautiful and secluded.

Everything was great.

I was a little unsure of where to get the keys, so I rang the hosts and she met me at the gate. Very warm, welcoming lady - she showed me through the studio - we had our own access/driveway parking area.

Everyday service of the studio would have been nice - new clean towels, rubbish taken away - regardless of this we still had a great stay.

It was a good sized studio with a comfortable bed, good kitchen and bathroom facilities. It had it's own separate parking & entrance and the covered patio area was great
