Bukawa Residences Balangan

We had a wonderful stay! Everything went smoothly, and the villa was always very clean. The cleaning staff came every morning to tidy up and make the beds. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. When we handed over the keys, he surprised us with banana bread because it’s his favourite and he wanted us to try it. We had a lovely conversation with him, and he even helped us book a Grab at a cheaper price.

L’espace extérieure est peu agréable, c’est dommage. Du mobilier de jardin permettrait d’en profiter davantage.

The staff at Bukawa Residence are very kind, friendly, and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Another nice feature is that the villa has its own washing machine, which is very convenient, although you do need to buy your own laundry detergent.

However, the villa itself was a bit disappointing compared to the photos. In reality, it looked older and less attractive than advertised and could definitely use some renovation and updating. The curtains are also not blackout curtains, so quite a lot of light comes into the bedroom in the morning. Another small downside is the drinking water: we only received two small bottles of water for our entire stay, which we felt was quite limited. Location-wise, it’s good to know that the residence is not directly in central Uluwatu. By scooter, it takes approximately 25 minutes to reach Uluwatu center, around 15 minutes to Melasti Beach, and about 15 minutes to the Jimbaran shopping mall. Overall, the friendly and welcoming staff and the washing machine were definite positives, but the villa itself could use some improvements and looks better in the photos than it does in person

Good location. Reasonable price Overall, the location and price are good, but there are several important issues with maintenance, cleanliness, and soundproofing that should be addressed.

Very poor soundproofing — you can clearly hear doors opening and closing in neighboring apartments. The apartment doors were difficult to close properly. and the staff were unable to help resolve the issue. The keys did not work properly with the main entrance door The dishes were dirty. The frying pan was covered in grease and burnt residue. The swimming pool is very small. The shower on the first floor is uncomfortable and inconvenient to use.

La villa que nous avons loué pour 3 personnes est tout simplement splendide. Elle est très bien située. Le ménage est effectué tous les jours ce qui est très agréable, l’endroit est très propre. L’hôte Arthur est très accueillant et toujours disponible.

Bukawa is a perfect place. I’ve stayed there almost 2 months It’s cozy and comfortable, stuff is really friendly! They always help you and support with whatever is needed. Big thanks to your team! Очень понравилось, как встретил персонал, все рассказал, отправил за мной трансфер до аэропорта, так как я первый раз на Бали, было страшновато быть без страховки и менеджер всегда был на связи и помогал решать все вопросы: дополнительную посуду, зонтик, помогли изменить даты бронирования, когда мы поняли, что район нам не совсем подходит (любим ходить пешком) спасибо вам за такой теплый прием! очень уютная вилла, всегда чисто, уборка каждый день, в бассейне и во дворе есть вечерняя подсветка. Немного не хватило зеркал в спальных, так как отдыхали 4 девушки)

Amazing property with a very personal feel. The space is beautiful, the pool is lovely, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The double-storey layout is a great touch, and the staff are fantastic. I’ve been to Bali many times, and this will definitely be my base from now on.

Para estar unos días en Bukit la ubicación es ideal ya que te permite desplazarte a cualquier punto de la península. Arthur, ha sido amabilísimo y todo lo que necesitamos nos lo facilitó. Muy buen servicio. Volveríamos.

The rooms are cleaned every day. Whenever we ask for anything from the staff, they are always there to help.

The living room needs a big sofa and air conditioning.

Nice property. 8 out of 10 for us. Love the washing machine with a quick program. Just a text message away. The will reply instantly. Super service. The overall space/m2. 2 toilets and showers.

It's not like. Just a little suggestion. Ambiance lighting. There are only the big bright lights in the living/kitchen and bedroom. A painting or something that makes it look a little more cozier/homey and less sterile. The couch should be a L shaped one. You can't fit 4 people on it. Max 2. Towels in the kitchen and handwash in kitchen/bathroom. Maybe 2 little chairs or beanbags near the pool and a bath mat near the entrance of the kitchen if your coming out of the pool it can be slippery (tiles on floor). A full size mirror. Minor detail. Mosquito's. The weather now is also perfect for them of course. I had a lot of them (+15) in my room. Even though I closed/locked my door. When we packed up to check out they were on my clothes that were hanging in the closet when I took it out.

Calm environment, good and responsive staff, clean every day, staff available almost 24/7, good internet.

No Aircon in the living room and kitchen (base floor) with big windows with no curtains so impossible to spend time there during the day. Pool poorly maintained with an abandoned garden, we didn’t use it in a month. Towels very old and with funny smell. Thin walls, if neighbors are noisy you can even hear them breathing.

Very quiet area and staff is amazing. Andre is very responsive and an awesome host. The property has two bathrooms, one at the top and one at the bottom, so helpful.

Getting to the property is difficult especially when it rains, it can be hard to move luggage in the puddle where driveway is. Bring your own towels, as towels don’t really dry you off nor do they smell good. They are old and best used for wet floor. We went and bought our own towels to use. No air conditioning downstairs so its hard to relax downstairs. There is a roof fan and a plug in fan but that doesn’t cool down the downstairs area, we mainly stayed in the rooms where aircon was. Also no mirrors in bedrooms for getting ready, especially for females. Only mirror in bathrooms. Hot water jug takes a long time to warm up so be patient, you may think its not on but its just taking longer to heat up.

Piscine sale et les photos ne sont pas vraiment représentatives, le logement manque d'équipement et la télé (notamment Youtube ne fonctionne pas)

Рядом стройка, но ее не сильно слышно. Полотенца не меняли. Но была стиральная машинка.

We lived here for 3 weeks.Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend this place. If I come here again, I will stay with them again.

It is a nice place. Arthur was very helpful when we need anything. Place was clean and it is located in quiet place. Would recommend.

Super big place for 2 people, good location, super clean and comfortable.

It was very nice. The owner was very friendly and allowed us to drop off our bags earlier than the check in time.

Pool was kind of cold to swim at night but perfect during the day.

L’emplacement et la disponibilité du personnel + literie confortable

La villa a vue sur des énormes travaux (très peu intimes, bruit…) + la douche a une fenêtre vue sur les maçons c’est pas super… la piscine est au nord donc toujours à l’ombre. le canapé etait vraiment sale et les équipements de faibles qualités (tringles à rideaux cassées…)

El apartamento estaba súper bien. muy bien equipado y limpio, lo único malo un poco la distancia del centro. pero con una buena moto lo arregla todo

Amazing stay

Absolument exceptionnel! Arthur est un un hôte très sympathique, très professionnel. Le logement est tout simplement digne des hôtels de luxe. Tout est pensé pour que l'on s'y sente bien. Les matériaux utilisés pour la décoration et construction du bâtiments sont de grande qualité. Villa spacieuse et ergonomique. Si l'on veut chipoter un peu, les matelas ne sont pas extrêmement confortables, mais l'on y dort bien quand même. Un grand merci Arthur pour ce séjour fabuleux dans le sud de Bali!
