Beautiful setting, lovely hosts, delicious food. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with fresh juice drinks, to the moment we left clutching fresh berries from the garden, we felt so welcomed.

A little hard to find from the main street - so I’m attaching a photo. Once you’ve found it though, the rewards are so worth it!

Il cocktail di benvenuto era buono . I prodotti da bagno erano ottimi. Comodo il frigo e il bollitore per il tè. La colazione continentale era buona come i succhi offerti.

Nella 103 il bagno è piccolino. Le lenzuola erano un pochino macchiate ma sono stati molto gentili a cambiarle.

I keep coming back. I'm happy to see their expansion and improvements and the garden that continues to get greener. What stays the same is their hospitality. You'll really feel at home. You'll feel safe and taken care of. Definitely make Bibile a stay because there are some great natural places to visit and you won't have to fight the crowds.

der Standard ist eher einfach, aber das war vorher bekannt

Wir waren hier für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise von der Ostküste nach Kandy. Der Service des Gastgebers war sehr zuvorkommend und liebevoll. Zur Begrüßung bekamen wir einen Saft aus Früchten des hauseigenen traumhaft schönen Gartens in dem man abends noch auf der Veranda gemütlich lesen und verweilen kann. Unser Zimmer und Bad bot alles was man benötigt und auch das Frühstück war lecker und üppig. Was für uns von Vorteil war, ist das wir unser TukTuk ganz einfach im Innenhof vor der Unterkunft parken konnten.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument exceptionnel dans cet hôtel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été touchés par les petites attentions qui font toute la différence : un mot de bienvenue écrit dans notre langue ainsi qu’un cadeau qui nous a vraiment fait plaisir. La chambre était impeccable, très confortable et d’une propreté irréprochable. Le petit-déjeuner était tout simplement incroyable : varié, généreux et délicieux. L’accueil a été d’une grande chaleur tout au long du séjour. Nous avons également reçu d’excellentes recommandations pour découvrir les alentours, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable. Un immense merci pour votre gentillesse et toutes ces attentions qui nous ont fait nous sentir comme à la maison. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et recommandons vivement cet hôtel.

We loved this hotel, you would think that there is not alot to do in Bibila, but Ruwan is amazing and showed us the region! He transformed his hotel into an experience, one that we will never forget. The garden is beautiful, all the staff was amazing.We had a amazing time :)

La propreté vraiment limite Choisir la room 104 la plus grande car les autres surtout la 102 Vous êtes obligé de vous doucher sur les toilettes et tout se mouille

We came back for a second stay, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The room is cosy, with all the little amenities you could need, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Sitting in the beautiful garden, enjoying fresh, delicious meals, and being looked after by such kind, attentive staff makes it feel so nourishing — not just for the body, but for the soul too. Ruwan, the owner, is honestly one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Nothing is ever too much to ask, and he goes out of his way to make sure your time here is unforgettable. He kindly organised for us to spend time with the Vedda tribe and, along with Kavi, took us to some truly amazing spots — hidden gems that most people never get to see. It was an incredible adventure, full of moments you’ll never forget. The team around him are equally lovely, making every moment feel easy and cared for. There’s always adventures to go on if you want them, or just beautiful spots to relax and soak in the surroundings. We feel so grateful for this stay and can’t wait to come back again.

Der Garten ist sehr schön

Schlimmstes Dreckloch EVER! Das war mit Abstand die schlimmste Unterkunft, die wir in Sri Lanka hatten. Das ganze Haus war schmutzig und verschimmelt. Unser Zimmer war eine Katastrophe, die Bettwäsche war nicht sauber und die Kopfkissen standen vor Dreck. Einfach nur eklig. Keinerlei Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Nicht um alles in der Welt würden wir nochmals dort schlafen. Der Hotelbesitzer machte unfragt Fotos von uns und erzählte die ganze Zeit wie toll er ist... Einfach nur nervig!

Mooi huis, er waren wel wat renovatiewerken bezig. Heel vriendelijk en grappig personeel. We kregen gratis een tour aangeboden naar een mooie tempel en een waterval. 's Avonds lekker gegeten en het ontbijt was ook prima.

Estuve una sola noche y me trataron como en casa. Una estancia muy placentera donde siempre estuvieron pendientes de que todo estuviera correcto. Agradecer su hospitalidad a los huéspedes. Una relación calidad-precio insuperable, lo mejor que me he encontrado en Sri Lanka en relación a este aspecto.

Eine Oase der Herzlichkeit und des Genusses – Nobel Regency Hotel Wir durften in diesem Hotel eine außergewöhnlich schöne Zeit verbringen. Die Unterkunft ist nicht nur sehr gepflegt und komfortabel, sondern vor allem geprägt von unglaublich freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Hotelchef: Obwohl alle Angestellten bereits genug zu tun hatten, hat er spontan einen Mitarbeiter damit beauftragt, uns zu einem nahegelegenen Wasserfall bei Bibile zu begleiten – völlig kostenlos und ohne Erwartung einer Gegenleistung. Selbst als wir darauf bestanden, zumindest ein Trinkgeld zu geben, lehnte er dankend ab. Diese Großzügigkeit hat uns tief berührt. Der weitläufige, wunderschöne Garten des Hotels war ein weiteres Highlight. Wir durften uns frei an den frischen Früchten bedienen – ein Genuss direkt vom Baum auf den Teller. Auch das Frühstück und die weiteren Mahlzeiten waren nicht nur kulinarisch ausgezeichnet, sondern auch ein Fest für die Augen. Trotz der zentralen Lage fühlt man sich hier wie in einem kleinen Paradies, fernab von jeglichem Lärm. Unser Tuktuk bekam sogar einen sicheren, eigens für uns reservierten Parkplatz. Es fiel uns unendlich schwer, diesen besonderen Ort zu verlassen. Wir fahren mit einem weinenden Auge weiter, aber mit der großen Hoffnung, unsere neu gewonnene „Bibile-Familie“ bald wiederzusehen. Ein Aufenthalt im Nobel Regency Hotel ist mehr als nur eine Übernachtung – es ist ein Stück Heimat in Sri Lanka.

El chico que nos atendió aunque hablaba poco inglés, era muy servicial. Nos ayudó a reservar el safari en barco y la visita a los Vedda. Además el primer día nos llevó a bañarnos a una cascada natural y a la cima de una montaña por completar nuestra estancia allí ya que el pueblo de Bibile no tiene mucho. Totalmente recomendable si lo que buscas es algo menos turístico y aventura.

An amazing place!! Great value for money, glorious garden, great A/C, most comfortable bed in Sri Lanka! Deminda was a wonderful host, cooked us a lovely dinner and took us to a nice waterfall. All in all, would highly recommend!

Nous sommes venus a Bibile pour cet hôtel atypique qui nous permettait de faire un safari bateau à Gal Oya (lever tôt quand même) tout en visitant un lieu hors des circuits touristiques. Nous n'avons pas été déçus: hôtel entre 2 mondes (maison coloniale verdoyante derrière le béton de la rue commerçante), et gérant/personnel très aidant, bienveillant et généreux. Nous y avons aussi bien mangé, des produits locaux/bio, du jardin, à prix presque trop doux.

Good value for money, standard higher than expected. It is very cheap to stay here if you consider you get a private bathroom, air- conditioning and breakfast for the price. Communication with staff was OK, but it was difficult to get clear information. The young guy did his best, though, and he was friendly. We recommend room 104!

It is like a hidden treasure behind a busy road. There are a lot of old books and it feels a little bit like a timetravel. The staff was super friendly. They made us a delicious dinner, when we arrived late and built an extra bed in our room for our son. The kids even had a little bath tub in our family room. The garden is wonderful and the owner even took our grandpa to his village home nearby to visit. It was the cheapest we stayed as a family of six that we stayed in Sri Lanka so far - I highly recommend it.

Отличное место, прямо в центре города, при этом в тихом дворе. Вокруг дома красивый сад, и сам дом с приятным интерьером (даже пианино есть:). Комната была чистая, большая ванная комната со всеми принадлежностями, горячая вода, кондиционер, фен. Вкусный и красивый завтрак на террасе. Мы приехали довольно поздно, тем не менее нас встретили и угостили соком. Спасибо!😊

Everything was fantastic. Such good hospitality, amazing food, amazing value for money. Everything was clean and comfortable, our room had great AC. Ruwan and Demi were so kind, always going above and beyond to help us in any way possible. They had answers to every question we had, gave us the best recommendations and always made sure we were happy. Amazing location. Everybody should stay here, I wish I could stay in this little paradise forever!

Bona ubicació,al mig del poble i aprop de l'estació de busos. Hotel amb un estil retro, encantador i ple de detalls, mobles colonials, llibres, etc.No he vist res igual a Sri Lanka. Suc de benvinguda sense càrrec i altres sucs que em van oferir al llarg de l'estada. Jardí meravellós que envolta la propietat i que et fa sentir estar al paradís.Ben cuidat i ple d'arbres amb fruites, que em van regalar. Habitació amb aire condicionat i aigua calenta.Vaig ocupar habitació 104. Esmorzar: pa,mantequilla,mermelada,un ou, cafè i/o te..També algun dia ofereixen esmorzar srilanquès. Vaig sopar a l'hotel i el vaig disfrutar, va ser vegetarià (a petició meva) i increïble i a un preu que no trobes en cap altre lloc. Deixo pel final però no menys important el tracte exquisit, indescriptible, servicial i sempre amb un somriure del propietari, sr Ruan i el treballador sr Demi. No només em van atendre com una hoste de primer nivell sinó que van dedicar part del seu temps a portar-me a visitar llocs d'interès, em van donar tota la informació i ajuda per anar al Parc Nacional de Gal Oya pel meu compte i em van donar suport en tot el que vaig necessitar. Gràcies de tot cor, sou els millors!!!!

A bit hard to find, behind some shops and apartments, you have to go under the building through, well, a short tunnel really. Maps is fairly accurate so just look for a gap in the building. On the other side is an old house which is the Nobel Regency which should have seemed "hemmed in" by the apartments, but it wasn't as it is set in lovely gardens with many plants. It's an old house with old furniture, retro but very comfortable. Multiple common areas both inside and outside. I had a very big room with a huge bathroom which was original to the house and dated, a bit of a time-warp really, but very clean and perfectly comfortable. Good a/c and fan. Hot water and good water pressure. Comfortable bed. I was hot and tired from my motorbike journey and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They bought me a welcome drink. After I had showered, I asked for tea and a snack, and they bought me fruit and then tea and cake on the verandah. Nothing was too much trouble. I sat and read a book and they kept checking that I was comfortable and had everything that I wanted. I did notice that one of the rooms was small because they had added an en-suite bathroom in a sort of prefabricated unit inside the room. That seemed a bit unusual. But I suppose it is perfectly functional. It is an inexpensive place to stay. Very good Sri Lankan curries and rice dinner, fruit and dessert. Breakfast was also very good. This was a perfect choice for me. I didn't explore the town as I was only on a stopover for one night, and I left early the next morning. It was very comfortable with good food and fantastic hosts.

Un accueil exceptionnel, de la cuisine locale en quantité et en qualité, une chambre spacieuse (mention spéciale pour la salle de bain) et une générosité sans égale. Après avoir été accueilli avec un jus de fruit frais du jardin, nous avons pu nous rafraîchir dans une cascade au cœur de la jungle et des rizières. Le lendemain, l’hôte nous a organisé une excursion vers Gal Oya pour réaliser un safari sur bateau. Un séjour exceptionnel et une vraie pépite dans une ville clairement sous coté !

It's a traditional Sri Lankan house converted to a hotel and it's located right in the center of the Bibila city. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly to us. The food was also really delicious and we enjoyed it. The garden is also full of the plans and greens. 💯 recommended.

Wat een fantastische plek! Een geweldig huis met enorm lieve mensen. Ruwan heeft ons heel veel geholpen. Hij heeft ons van alles laten zien en we hebben samen veel gelachen. We kregen lekker eten en werden goed verzorgd. Een tijd om nooit te vergeten!

Quiet place with Nice garden in a busy town. We only stayed one night. De bedroom is comfortabel with Good ac And spacious bathroom. Food was okay. Dont expecy a 5 star hotel but a Nice place to spend the night.

Zentral gelegen und doch ruhig, umgeben von einem wunderschönem grünen Garten. Toller, super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber mit guter Klimaanlage.

We spent one night at Nobel Regency and it was the most unforgettable time we had in Sri Lanka. In the evening, we sat together, drank tea, played guitar, and laughed so much. The next morning, we were greeted with a beautiful, traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Afterwards, we went with Rajew and a friend to a hidden waterfall that only locals know about. We had the entire place to ourselves and were able to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere for a long time. Later, we visited his friend’s home and shared a delicious meal together. The rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished, and the value for money was absolutely outstanding. It was a truly special experience, full of warmth and genuine connection. We are deeply grateful to Ruwan from the bottom of our hearts!

Beautiful hidden place with amazing hosts . It’s like staying with family. We booked 1 night and ended up staying several weeks. The owner Ruwan is an amazing guy who goes out of his way to help with anything. We will definitely come back.

The location is surprising but perfect. The owner and the staff are taking care you are happy. The feeling of being in a house with good energy. Great place to stop between Ampara and Badula. Thr local bus is the best way to get here on the newly paved road …

The host, Ruwan, was an exceptional host. We only stayed the one night, but he cooked us dinner, breakfast, took us to a waterfall the next day. We could have easily stayed longer. Rooms were comfortable, AC and an en suite.

Fantastic place to stay , tucked away in the centre of Bibile within a quiet, beautifully secluded garden. The property is clean, spacious, and bright with two very usable verandahs . My room had a ceiling fan and a/c with an ensuit bathroom with hot and cold water . The owner, Ruwan, is a delight with a passion for providing the best service he can for his guests, and nothing is too much trouble for him or his staff . This is an extremely affordable hotel, and you won't find better for the price .

the entrance to the Regency is unusual as it is behind the main buildings along the street and you go through an underpass to get there. however once there, it feels like you are on a tiny island away from the lively city center. The owner, Ruin, is a man who knows how to answer your questions honestly and accurately. He knows the area and is motivated to create a friendly comfortable, clean, and safe hotel environment. You also have privacy, good food, and can lounge outside under shady roofs. the rooms are spartan but clean and have internet viable monitors. the price including an excellent breakfast was about 11 EUs. Ruin helped my son get a nice pair of pants because my son had ripped his jeans. He also helped arrange a tuk tuk to take us to an old friend of mine who was living in the region. This is an A+ hotel in spirit and actuality. Each room has its own fairly private area where you can stretch out and read a book under a shady roof.

This the best place to stay for visiting Danigala (the Alien Mountain) - 1 h ride on tuk tuk and 40 minutes on a bike/car.
