House was cold on arrival (granted it was mid-winter) Suggest the internal DVS system is turned on the day before a booking to warm the house up. Lovely & snug once that had run for the night.

Starting to look a little run down and gardens not maintained. A little far out of Cambridge for us. Also a fair bit of dust.

Reviewed Dec 23, 2025This is a very special place. We thoroughly LOVED this home. Situated amongst the rolling hills and the beauty of a farmhome. The glass sliding doors made it possible to enjoy the fresh air and picturesque views. The rooms were comfortable and well kept.

Reviewed Nov 21, 2025We were looking for a rural location that was lovely and quiet, the property met our expectations. The house was large enough for our family and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night but would have happily stayed more.

Only things could be imprived: some milk in the fridge. We had to call our friends to bring milk. Deck had a bit of bird crap on it & garden a little untidy, but not a big deal. 😁

The bed in the master bedroom was quite hard and there were alot of bugs/fly poop on the roof. Otherwise super amazing home to stay in thank you.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2025Restful location with good views of the countryside. Clean and comfortable, and sound did not travel across rooms. Plenty of kitchen equipment and towels.
Could have used a vacuum to clean up dead bugs before we arrived. We had no problem with local cat who wanted to take up residence but could be an issue if visitors allergic.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2024Very tidy, clean and modern home. Spacious and bright with options for sitting outdoors. Comfortable beds, lots of towels and toiletries. Fantastic showers! Very relaxing and quiet with wonderful country outlook.
Shortage of kitchen consumables - only two teaspoons of dishwash liquid and the dishwash powder was bagged in clingfilm pouches which were starting to leak.

It was great - but for perfection maybe a BBQ would be great and also although the central heating in the bedrooms are awesome - didn’t find any in the lounge/living area ? So it took a bit of time for the heat to transfer from bedrooms to lounge but once done - really cosy.
