Beachside Inn

The staff was very friendly and the rooms , good size and clean. Yes, rooms, plural, we had to be moved. They accepted dogs (huge plus), however, they put us on the second floor. When the dogs needed up at 4am, the commotion to get them leashed, disturbed the down stairs. Suggestion to owner, always put those with dogs/pets on bottom floor and section off certain allowable rooms. You don't want pets in Some rooms as some guests might be allergic. Maybe invest in a few colored towels for use with pets, under food bowls, on floors when they drink, feet after walking. I actually went to the near by grocery outlet to buy some as I didn't want your white ones destroyed.

Very bear minimum, No blow dryers, laundry bags ect. Its fine I brought my own but not everyone will prepare accordingly. Small showers (stall size), hard to shave legs lol. Very little counter space at bathroom sink. Only one plug at bed. My husband sleeps with a cpap. My thought was what if both slept with one? There would be no place for a second. Phones couldn't be plugged in at bedside, and there were no alarm clocks. Note to owner, the refrigerator in 103 seems to be missing a leg. The microwave sits on top, coffee maker on top of that. The fridge moves quite a bit when opening. Id hate to see the others fall when someone opens the fridge. Additionally, there was only one plug, so you needed to unplug the micro or fridge, to plug in the coffee maker. Suggestions with the thought these are new owners; maybe a narrow shelf from bathroom counter over toilet to wall. Maybe a shelf to hold the micro and coffee maker. Power strips, one at bed, or run an electrical line behind bed to allow for a second. You should have one at fridge micro, and coffee maker as well.

There was street construction at the time of our stay that made it a little harder to get to at first, but overall, it was pleasant..

The bathroom had a stench of urine. I wiped the floor when I spilled a little bit of water. The napkin I used was black. The place is filthy.

At a major intersection

The location was good and near where we wanted to be. The price was good for this area.

We stayed for three days and were never offered clean towels or coffee pods. We were able to chase down the attendant and change out towels but we had to be there to find her. The beds are not comfortable and the room should have been cleaner. But, in all fairness we did ask for a room on the bottom floor (my husband just had a knee replacement) and they moved us to a different room than was planned for us.

Location was perfect, convenient close to everything. Not noisy and the hotel across the way would have been, very loud band playing all night but we could not hear it from the hotel. Glad we did not choose that one. Friendly staff, I called ahead with a special request and they honored it.

We have 2 Cpap's and there were not quiet enough plugs.

Tacky place

Hotel clerk was exceptionally friendly & made us feel at home. Very clean room & lobby. Looks like they remodeled the room & had new appliances or simply well maintained. Great lighting for parking lot during night.

Charged 50.00 extra because my dog peed on a post out side the hotel room during a heavy rain storm . Also paid $40.00 in cash to have a toy dog in room. Not pet friendly.

The room had dirty walls and a very u pleasant smell. There was a rodent in the vent of the bathroom. When I tried to bring up the issue they claimed it was the vent but is was off.

Clean, comfortable.

THE FOG HORN. It goes off every 10 seconds and its unbearable. Plus the walls are paper thin and I heard my upstairs neighbor, next door neighbor AND THE FOG HORN all night.

The owners were really friendly and helpful. Anytime we needed help or had a minor issue, the owners were on top of it. They even helped my son connect his Xbox to the wifi. The rooms were spotless, and no outside noise could be heard from inside the room. The location was perfect, the beach was directly across the street, and restaurants were directly behind the inn. I recommend this inn to anyone.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. Location is right across the street from the ocean. There's a great little dinner (Elise's) right around the corner, and a Tesla supercharger is a block away. Area around the motel doesn't feel the safest (but isn't awful), but their parking lot is well lit with lots of security cameras.

It was hot even with the ceiling fan on. The walls were very thin. Thin enough to be able to hear the train, to the highway traffic, to the old lady next door.

At first I was unsure of this place. There was quite a lot of road noise and the guests above me were also loud during my first night. But I simply talked to the manager and he was so kind and let me change rooms and I slept so much better. My advice is to ask for a room on the top floor if possible if you’re a light sleeper.

I didn’t feel safe, it was very loud the shower does not get hot just he’s warm. My sink wasn’t clean had hair in it, bed was not comfortable at all

The staff was extremely helpful. Everything was clean. Motel was very convenient. Just what you would expect from a beach side motel.

I had zero complaints. Beach, lighthouse, comfort and food was all I needed.

Easy beach access

This hotel is well worth the price for the fact you can walk to all the tourists things that are this town of crescent city. This can be a little bit of a rough area if you are skiddish but that comes with any bayside town. I enjoyed the stay and the man who I believe is the manager was always workings Housekeeping , front desk, Maintanence . Very friendly and knowledgeable man. He has great recommendations as well.

Our room was not clean and our bed was short sheeted. The floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in years. There were shoe prints and bare feet prints that didn't belong to us all over the floor. I took a towel and wiped the floor and it came back black. The bottom sheet on our bed was shorted about 3 feet, so the bottom was only the mattress. We asked to switch rooms and it was better, but the floors and bathroom weren't very clean.

Okay for a one night stay but it was very scant for amenities. No place to hang your clothes no drawers to put things. The toilet had barely enough water to flush. If you are on the first floor be prepared to listen to your neighbors upstairs just walking around.

Great, roomy basic room with very comfy beds. It was simple and perfect for what we needed at a great cost. Would definitely stay again.

My stay with my pup was great. The hotel was clean and in good condition, man at front desk was friendly and helpful, location was fantastic and accommodations for dogs were great. My only feedback for possible improvement is maybe a hose somewhere to rinse off sandy feet after walking the beach, but other than everything was wonderful!

Clean room

The property appeared to be a converted Mobil 6 motel. Bottom of the line standard. Like Lipstick on a pig they painted the walls but that was mostly it. Located in the middle of town with traffic all around. Not beach side at all.

Easy dinning and walkable

The guy at the front desk was just great. He made everything so easy after a long day driving and hiking. The room was clean and comfortable and convenient. I'll definitely stay again if I'm back through there.

Our motel room was clean and comfortable. It was a little Spartan, but everything was fine. The check in staff were very friendly.

The guy at check in was super friendly and helpful. We booked last minute and checked in around 9pm. Room was clean and comfy. Pretty basic but great for the night.
