Reviewed Jul 23, 2026The apartment was excellent—spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed. It features a separate bedroom, a comfortable living room with a kitchen, and a modern bathroom, making it a very pleasant place to stay. The owner was incredibly kind and caring. She went above and beyond to help me when I experienced some health issues, and I truly appreciated her support. The breakfast was also delicious and a great way to start the day. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation close to the airport!

The host went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable and even allowed out early book in after a long time on the road. I will definitely be back. Also included ware coupons for a grest breakfast at a restraunt around the corner which was an added bonus.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026Communication with owners was good, They always answered the calls. The place is good in general but pay attention to minor maintenance to protect your asset as well.
I reported the running water from the basin but was never attended to. The iron was not working but replaced with another one. It was however dirty rusty water that made stains on my shirt. Iit is suggested that you check the equipment if they are working. I will still book with you in the future just improvements.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026A super friendly and patient host! Due to some issues with the car rental, I didn’t arrive at the hotel until 9:30 PM, but she waited for me the whole time. When I arrived, she patiently showed me the layout of the room. In the fridge, she had prepared chilled mineral water and milk for me, and the kettle had hot water ready. She had everything prepared—the room, parking, and more. Even before I arrived, she patiently answered all my questions. The hotel is very close to the airport—about an 11‑minute drive—and is very easy to find. Whether you are arriving by plane or leaving the city, this hotel is an excellent choice! The room is clean, secure, and beautifully decorated. Everything was perfect! I would like to thank the host again and wish her all the best!

Reviewed Jun 29, 2025The owners are sweethearts and professional- respond to questions and requests right away and checked in with me after I arrived. Made sure I was ok. Good communication is needed when u book, cos the gates are opened for first time with app by owner when you first arrive, then keys are available in lockbox. VERY SAFE! Very nice peaceful quiet area even though little bit motorbike noise from highway early morning. Earplugs will solve it. I explored a little and even 10 min away by car you can see difference here and rougher parts of town. I booked for solo the small room off the main house but it had everything from airfryer to heating plate and in winter, major gas heater! And perfect for me 28 hrs in Joburg. Bed 5 stars as good as the best hotel. Bathroom as with rest of the unit, is well designed. Hot water right away. Super super clean. Small garden with dipping pool inviting but I couldn’t use in winter. Will definitely return. Added photo of street to show how nice it was.
Loved it as a solo traveler.
