Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Habitación amplia, muy limpio y camas cómodas. A primera hora de la mañana ya nos enviaron las indicaciones para poder acceder a la habitación. Hay bares al lado donde poder cenar. Muy buena opción para alojarse si estás haciendo el camino De Santiago.

Al llegar la habitación todavía estaba sucia de los otros huéspedes, por lo que tuvimos que avisar para que la arreglaran. Además, un poco incomodo tener que compartir 1 solo baño entre todas las habitaciones del apartamento.

Después para coger el camino otra vez casi dos kilómetros por carretera y para llegar igual. Pero super bien habitación. Lavadora. Secadora. Baño compartido. Cocina y nevera con bebida de pago.

Considero o peço elevado para apenas um quarto que não tem casa de banho privativa mas teve de ser partilhada com todos os hóspedes do mesmo apartamento (no fundo, é um apartamento grande onde cada quarto é arrendado separadamente. A limpeza poderia ser um pouco mais cuidada (conferir fotos p.f.) mas os lençóis e a cama estavam limpos.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The only good thing about this room with a private bathroom in Apartementos Camino Inglés, was the bed and mattress. At least I had a good night's sleep but see below my comments about the accommodation.
You never actually meet the host or reception staff at all. You receive a text message from the property without the name of an actual person. I find it very impersonal but something I can live with if everything else in the property is then fine. However, my room and bathroom was dirty and clearly not cleaned after the previous guest left. The bath was filthy with a rim on the side and clearly not cleaned after the last guest had used it. The bath towels were smelly and very unpleasant. I didn't use the towels to dry off with, I preferred to use my travelling towel I had with me as a swimming towel. The floors were also dirty and needed a good clean. The hair dryer was on top of the bathroom cabinet, but when I wanted to use it, I found it was lying on a bed of dust. It clearly had not been dusted or cleaned for at least three or four weeks. I wish I could say to other potential guests - don't even consider it! But there is such a lack of accommodation between Bruma and Ordes that people on the Camino Inglés has no other choice than to stay in Meson do Vento. And the hosts know this! I would recommend people walk on (or take a short taxi journey) to the hotel outside Cruce, or to A Rua or A Calle. The property is right on a busy road with traffic early morning and until late at night. There is no air conditioning and you have to sleep with the windows open in the summer. Fortunately the mattress was very comfortable otherwise I would not have had much sleep.

Las toallas estaban muy viejas, había un montón de ruido tanto del exterior como proveniente del resto de habitaciones. No nos pusieron toalla de suelo para la ducha y los bollos de cortesía estaban pasados.

La ubicación está muy alejada del Camino Inglés. El baño y la cocina eran compartidos, teniendo en cuenta que eran para 4 habitaciones con 2-3 personas, era un poco incómodo. Un montón de mosquitos, nos acribillaron.

A bit of confusion for me to open the luck...you really have to be precisely on the line, then I could not find the apartment in the building! But a big part of that was related to how tired I was after a very hard walking day! The owner answered right away, I really appreciate that!

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026It was a short 20 minute walk from Bruma. Had a full kitchen, laundry with washing machine and dryer. Large comfortable double room with good heating. Fairly easy self checkin and checkout. There is a service station next door for basic snacks and drinks.
Not a bad thing but there is no staff onsite. I needed help with the heating and contacted the property via Booking.com messaging. They replied quickly to advise they would activate it remotely. There were also no towels or I couldn’t find them.

Extremely expensive for the conditions offered. The listing is misleading because it states that the room comes with a bathroom, but it does not explicitly mention that the bathroom is shared. There is only one bathroom shared between several rooms. The room is far too small (it is advertised as 12 m², but it feels considerably smaller). The room gets very hot and has neither air conditioning nor a fan. Whenever someone cooks, cooking smells enter the room directly because the window is located just a few centimetres from the kitchen extraction vent. The television was not working and had to be repaired upon request. The living/common area is far too small, as part of the original living room appears to have been converted into an additional bedroom to maximise profit.

This apartment complex has four bedrooms in the unit. There are separate locks on each bedroom. Kitchen, living room, hall and one bathroom are in a common area shared by all four bedrooms. While this is a good set up for a large group. One must be ready to share your common spaces with complete strangers. This was not made clear in the description that I am aware of, but it was not necessarily a problem. I know this arrangement is common and quite useful for Pilgrim's, but not explained in advance. The apartment is about 1 mile from Hospital de Bruma on the Ingles Way Camino. The stage is quite long from Betanzos to Bruma and an extra couple of kilometers is a tough sell. However, if a Pilgrim walks past Bruma the distance to this accommodation is cut shorter and may be regained the next morning. We chose to taxi off the Camino and walked back to rejoin. This should be explained better as the position of the accommodation was in question until we actually arrived. Our communication was generally excellent. This situation was quite underserved and overlooked.
