The location was great - a bus stop was in front of the door, the bus takes you directly to Gosausee. At the accommodation I was warmly welcomed by Alina, who was very kind and helpful. Also, the breakfast was excellent and the beds very comfortable.

Heel mooi hotel, perfect als stop voor onze autoreis. We kwamen met onze pasgeboren baby en werden heel goed verzorgd. Mooie kamers met prachtig uitzicht over de bergen. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en zeer behulpzaam personeel. Bedankt aan Alina om onze vakantie nog beter te maken.

Gazdele au fost foarte primitoare. Camera a fost curată. Micul dejun dintre cele mai bune pe care le-am mâncat în general. Există chiar și un storcator de fructe pentru suc proaspăt.

Amazing views at this location. It is pretty close to lake Gosau. Pretty clean rooms. Breakfast were amazing. We will recommend this apartment to our family/friends. Parking is pretty big. Personal were professional and friendly. We cannot wait to come back again.

Moc milý personál, který se o vás postará a vše vám ukáže. Je možné ubytovat se i s pejskem, kterého tu taky moc mile vítají. Vše je čisté a pokoj sice malinký, ale útulný. Ubytování má super lokalitu. Snídaně v ceně. Za nás super :)

Gutes und durchwegs reichhaltiges Frühstück (die Eierspeise war wirklich gut), freundliches Personal, bequemer Eingangsbereich.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht über das winzige Zimmer, das wir erhalten haben. Wir sind überhaupt mit einer ganz anderen Vorstellung vom Komfort und Angebot aufgrund des sehr hohen Übernachtungspreises gekommen. Das Zimmer selbst war kaum größer als 10m², das Doppelbett ohne Lattenrost stand lieblos im Eck an der Wand, keine Nachtkästchen, kein wirklicher Kleiderschrank (nur so eine Art offener Garderobenschrank im Ikea Stil), keine Jalousien, kein Balkon, kein Fernseher (!!!), keine Minibar, ein einfaches unmodernes Badezimmer. Darüber hinaus sind die Zimmer hellhörig. Viel Gedränge im Frühstücksraum. Mich hat auch gestört, dass es keine überdachten Parkplätze gibt und es im Auto sehr heiß wurde. Es gibt keine echte Rezeption, sondern es muss mit zwei Codenummern herumhantiert werden. Wie gesagt, für so einen hohen Preise ist die Erwartungshaltung sehr hoch, sie wurde definitiv enttäuscht. Wahrscheinlich zahlt man im Sommer einen übertrieben hohen Aufschlag für die Marke "Salzkammergut". Daher werde ich diesen wunderschönen allerdings vollkommen überlaufenen Fleck Österreichs im Sommer künftig meiden.

Family friendly property in a great location less than 10 minutes away from the beautiful Vorderer Gosausee at the foot of the Dachstein. The staff is very friendly and professional.

The location is simply amazing! One of the best places I've been and we had a room with the best view of the mountains and the surrounding area. They also have some comfy chairs outside where you can just chill and look at the beautiful landscape. Also Hallstatt is very close to this location and staying here instead is much cheaper. The staff, Alina, Daniel and Ovidiu are some of the best guests we've seen in our travels. they were very welcoming and also quick to solve our problem (we had a small problem with the toilet water tank and they replaced it very quickly the next day). The Breakfast is very good! They have a free nearby parking The whole place was very clean and I really liked the cozy place at the entrance where you can just lay down and read something or spend some time as a family our in a group.

The bathroom was pretty small and I don't like the fact that the shower has a plastic curtain, which is not that pleasant or hygienic.

Ein Aufenthalt bei "Der Gamsjäger" ist sehr empfehlenswert! Die Hundefreundlichkeit (es gab ein Welcome-Package mit Napf, Decke und Handtuch für meinen Hund) gleich zu Beginn hat mich sehr begeistert! Die Sauberkeit ist 1A, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und liebevoll hergerichtet, das Zimmer schön und nicht unnötig groß und das Personal immer ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage (5 min mit dem Auto zum Vorderen Gosausee) ist ebenfalls ideal.

Die Matratze war sehr weich und ein Mistkübel im Zimmer wäre noch gut gewesen.

Das online check in hat sehr gut funktioniert. Schönes Zimmer im 2. Stock mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf die Berge. Das Haus ist irgendwie besonders weil man altes mit modernem ganz lustig kombiniert und aufeinander abgestimmt hat. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Very well decorated thoughtout. Beautiful room. We had a quadruple room which worked great for our family of 4. Great location for Vorderer Gosausee. Alina was very helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfasts didn't cater very well for vegans, but luckily, we came prepared with some plant-based milk for cereals and made good use of the fruit and breads on offer. I suggest staff to ask if guests need help with bags rather than stating they will help and then expect a tip. I know this is standard in some countries but some may find this ungenuine. For us it was 1 flight of stairs and 2 small carry on bags.

Úžasní majitelé. Poradili tipy na výlety, nebyl problém pozdní příjezd ani odjezd (víc než dvě hodiny po check-out nechtěli žádný doplatek). Parkoviště přímo u penzionu, výborné snídaně s domácími pomazánkami. Pohodlné postele. Z pokoje krásný výhled na hory.

Me and my girlfriend had a room that faced the sunrise, which can a bit of a problem in summer since the sun comes up very early. As a result, we woke up much earlier than we had planned. I’d suggest adding a blackout curtain to help guests sleep through the early morning light. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Unser Zimmer besaß keinen TV (war für eine Nacht nicht schlimm) u das WC gehört nachgeschraubt (senkt u hebt sich beim hinsetzen)

Gosau merkezde bulunan bir işletme yataklar çok rahattı, odanın balkonu olması da gayet güzeldi..ücretsiz otopark olması da ayrı rahatlık..çalışan arkadaşlar gayet yardımsever ve güler yüzlüydü..

Kahvaltı hiç beklediğim gibi değildi.. salam sosislerin olduğu yere domuz Eti diye belirtseler daha ince bir davranış olurdu.. cornflakesler malesef bayattı.. fiyatı bir kış oteli olmasına karşın yazın gecelik fiyatı biraz pahalı geldi.. 1 gece konaklama yaptığımız için fazla takmadık.

Die Reinigungsgebühr für einen kleinen Hund war sehr überteuert. Kaffee war nicht genießbar, Frühstücksbuffet war schlecht organisiert. Duschschlauch war defekt. Familienzimmer war sehr klein, Kind schlug sich ständig Kopf an der Decke im Hochbett.

Υπέροχη τοποθεσία σε ένα πολύ γραφικό χωριό. Το προσωπικό πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Το δωμάτιο γραφικό όπως ταιριάζει σε έναν ξενώνα. Πρωινό αρκετά καλό και χωρίς να του λείπει κάτι. Απόσταση από το Χάλστατ περίπου 25 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο. Για να βρείτε parking στο Χάλστατ, θα πρέπει να βρεθείτε εκεί μέχρι τις 9,30 το αργότερο...

Το δωμάτιο, για 3 άτομα και ένα σκύλο, ήταν λίγο στενάχωρο!

Preis Leistung war Mega gut. Lage war auch gut. Der Name spiegelt sich schön wieder, alles im Haus ist voller Jagdsachen.

If you’re planning a trip to the beautiful town of Gosau, Austria which we truly recommend, Der Gamsjäger is the perfect place to stay. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, and the service was honestly beyond what we expected. Alyna took such wonderful care of us. She was always around to help with anything we needed and was such a kind and warm person to talk to. It really felt like a home away from home. And the breakfast each morning was nothing short of amazing—plentiful, fresh, and a great way to start the day. 5 stars to this place

It's a very nice, comfortable and cosy little place and we had a really pleasant stay. Reception area, lounge and our room were very tidy and clean. There was a good variety for breakfast and the place was close to trails and forest. The staff were amazing, Daniel and Alina were always there to answer any questions and help, they just couldn't do enough for us!!

I think the bathroom is a bit outdated, it should benefit some upgrades.

The location has an amazing view to the pure nature! The design and decor was super cute. The breakfast was delicious! The staff, Alina and Daniel, were very nice and happy to help at any time.

The bunkbed mattress was a bit hard (for the ones who don’t like hard mattresses) and the windows didn’t have blinders to protect from the early sun light.

I had to panic book this due to some very stressful travel issues. Alina was incredible at staying in touch while I was trying to arrange transport and then welcoming me to even after the allotted check in time. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. Alina was so helpful and when she found out I was leaving early even prepared my breakfast in a bag to go. Cannot recommend enough :))

Ubytování na 1 noc, pokoj čistý a útulný, z terasy výhled na hory, skvělá snídaně a paní domácí byla moc milá :)

Dobré ráno, budu psát hodnocení na ubytko na booking, chcete tam někdo něco přidat? “Krásný hotýlek pod Alpami. Hned při příjezdu (umožnili nám check-in uz ve 13:00) nás přivítala slečna, která nás provedla, ukázala jídelnu, pokoje a společné prostory. Všude bylo až neuvěřitelně čisto. Pokoje jsou menší ale dobře vybavené, pro letní pobyt naprosto vyhovující. Klasická snídaně s vajíčky, párky, šunkou, sýrem, salámy, zeleninou, jogurtem atd…výborná vajíčka a vynikající pečivo (hlavně bagety s mákem a croissanty 🥐). Personal byl velmi vstřícný a nápomocný. Součástí hotelu je pohodlná terasa s nádherným výhledem na hory. Parkoviště je par kroků od hotelu. Kousek od hotelu (500 m a 1 km) jsou dvě restaurace, kde se dá najíst a točí tam pivo. V hotelu je možná snídaně, dovoz pizzy a pak automat na napoje (na hotovost), kde maji i piva. Personál ho průběžne doplňoval. Jeli jsme jako skupina 7 dospělých lidi, 2 pokoje na 3 dny/2 noci a naprostá spokojenost.”

Pokoj byl opravdu malinký pro 3 lidi, věci si můžete dát max. na zem Ani při pobytu na 3 noci neproběhnul ani jeden úklid - máte ve 3 lidech vyjít s miniaturním odpadkovým košem v koupelně a s 2 ruličkami toaletního papíru V patře pod námi byla technická místnost a v pokoji neustále něco hučelo, což rušilo od spaní Vhod by přišel tmavší závěs

Отель в жизни намного лучше, чем на фото. Все новое, в отличном состоянии. Чисто. Полотенца свежие. Номера небольшие, но уютные и современные. Нет Комаров и других мошек. Расположение очень удобное, рядом маркет, озеро. Отдельный комплимент приветливому персоналу. Они всегда были рады помочь нам. Приятно когда персонал делает свою работу с душой. Чувствуется семейная атмосфера. В отеле было очень тихо, хотя на выходных была полная заполненность. Завтрак очень вкусный. Есть возможность сделать свежевыжатый сок. В номер можно заказать пиццу -очень вкусная. Наша дочка была в восторге от декораций отеля и получила от администратора подарок на память, за что отдельное спасибо. Это были прекрасные и комфортно три дня в тихом и уютном месте. Совет: До тех кто любит поспать дольше нужно брать повязку на глаза, потому что шторы в номере светлые и не затемняют солнце. В номере нет чайника, учтите это.

Nice condition, location and breakfast and bedroom was very comfortable.

However, there was no curtain / blind on the glass door going to our balcony. Without it: (a) there was no privacy; and (b) there was too much light in the room for sleeping. It was very odd. The staff acknowledged that it should have one. He offered to cover the glass door in tin foil but that would not have been pleasant so we borrowed a bed sheet to cover it - this did not block out the light but it did deal with the privacy issue. It was frustrating to have to deal with this but the staff were friendly about it. Clearly an owner / management issue as to why this has not been sorted. Also, I had asked in advance to amend my booking to add a second person to my triple room (!) but was told there was no need and was told I could pay the extra cost on arrival. I was told it was an extra 50 euros which I thought was far too expensive but I didn’t really have a choice since I was unable to cancel / amend! I noticed once I got to the hotel a sign which said there was a 50 euro fee for unannounced guests! The staff offered us a pizza / beer / something to apologise for the curtain situation, but I asked instead if perhaps they could offer a discount on the amount I needed to pay for the second person. In the morning I was given an 18 euro discount only and was told I had to pay the 32 euros in cash. I only had 30 euros cash which I need to take up the mountain with me but I was made to pay it to them and had to drive 6km in the wrong direction to use a cash point which charged 5.5 euros to use! To be clear - I had not been told in advance that I would need to pay in cash! Ultimately this is a nice place but with some customer service issues - the owner / manager seems too concerned about money rather than customer experience and reputation. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the price and the experience - perhaps the owner/manager will learn from this!
