Katmon Villas

La ubicación impresionante. Estaba a 1 minuto de Cloud 9, muy cerca de restaurantes y de todo lo importante. La villa estaba limpia y muy amplia, baño muy grande y cama cómoda. La piscina es bonita y todo está muy bien decorado, con mucho gusto. Muy cerca de la habitación hay una cocina compartida con otros huéspedes con nevera que es muy útil y demás enseres. Tratamos con Martha y nos atendió amablemente en todo momento, nos organizó traslado para ir y para volver del aeropuerto, nos facilitó un contacto para alquiler de moto que directamente nos trajeron la moto a la villa!! Y también información sobre excursiones. Si volvemos a Siargao sin duda repetiremos en esta villa.

Quiet area, good location, safe, really nice room and bathroom and aircon was very good

I didn’t receive any information regarding check in and no one answered when I arrived, my room also never got cleaned for 4 nights even though it says cleaning every 2 days

The spaciousness of the rooms, the cleanliness of the rooms, the green garden, the huge bathroom and walking distance to the beach

The pool water was not very clean, the kitchen could be better equipped, the sliding doors were hard to open and close and the AC upstairs was very noisy

Very quiet and peacful, the plants are amazing feature and the staff are lovely. Near restaurants too

El personal va ser super amable. La localització està molt bé. L’habitació era molt maca.

L’aigua de la piscina no acabava d’estar neta i no podies banyar-te sempre. Va marxar l’electricitat i l’aigua en diversos moments de la nostra estada.

We hebben het huis vanuit Nederland online geboekt. Verwachtingsvol middels de foto's. Bij aankomst viel het erg tegen. Deuren niet sluitend, geen zit mogelijkheid rondom het zwembad. Geen zon in de tuin. Alleen een betonnen bankstel, geen gemakkelijke stoelen. Vies en incompleet keuken inventaris. Kapotte douche, geen warm water. Geen kluis. Geen haardroger, geen wasdroger. Beide wel aangegeven in de lijst. Geen derde badkamer, die ook in de lijst stond. We hebben ervaren dat het pad naar de villa een onveilig gevoel gaf. Veel mannen die mij en onze dochters hebben aangesproken. Geen airco beneden. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg slecht.

Kind of disappointing that 2 out of 5 days staying the pool was not available. We were a group of friends one room had no hot water and a lot of cockroaches

Die Villa war sehr schön eingerichtet mit einem wunderschönen Badezimmer in einer aus Stein umrandeten Dusche. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und groß. Der Service war großartig, man konnte alles via whats app organisieren lassen, roomservice, Motorbike rental und aktivitäten wurde von der netten Eigentümerin sofort organisiert. Auch ein shuttle zum Flughafen wurde organisiert.

This place is amazing. We stayed 8 nights and we felt like home. If you have a scooter and you don’t want to be in the crowd of general Luna, the emplacement is ideal. Very close to cloud9. A little peaceful place with a lovely garden and pool. The staff are 5stars. The room is really clean, warm, nicely decorated. They clean the room every 3 days which was perfect for us. Free water is a plus ! Aircon works well. I would definitely recommend that place.

Overall, still had a good stay and this feedback is just for future improvement.

The villa is located further inside, and the road going there is a bit rough/bumpy, but I think that’s quite normal for Siargao. Just note that there’s no parking if you’re renting a car. We asked the host if there was any nearby paid parking they could recommend, but there wasn’t one suggested. It would be helpful to have parking recommendations for future guests. It would also have been nice if the staff had been a bit more welcoming

Wundervolles kleines Hotel! Uns hat es hier an nichts gefehlt! Das Zimmer ist riesig, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett und jederzeit hilfreich. Der Garten mit dem inkludierten Pool hat auch unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen!

The villa was really spacious and clean, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. It was definitely worth it.

The light was flickering a bit and the AC couldn't get the whole room cold, but it was tolerable if you left it on longer.

Great location, close to Cloud 9 and some great cafes on the main road. Tucked away off the street, so it’s pretty quiet too! The grounds and surrounding garden are beautiful, it felt special and hidden! The pool was nice to plunge in and the use of kitchen easily accessible. Staff always onsite when needing assistance. Nica helped us book a scooter for our duration, having the bike dropped to the villa. The rooms themselves are clean, spacious and room for your belongings.

We loved our room we think it was the best room available beautiful open bathroom lovely big bedroom and chill out area. Nica was super helpful and there if we had any questions or concerns…. It was 10 minutes drive to general luna.

When the rain came the pathway out to the main road was very hard to walk through, many times we had to try find a stone to stand on to avoid having our whole foot and ankle in water

Located near cloud9 beach, restaurants and coffees. Room and bathroom are very spacious. Bed is confortable. Shared kitchen with a fridge and dome basics to cook.

Communication with the owner. There is no proper reception and the phone number doesn't respond. We didn't have any information about how to check in or check out and we didn't received any answer to our other question.

Villa was beautiful and well set up for families. Staff was helpful and responsive

Leider gab es während unseres Aufenthalts im Katmon Villas einige Kritikpunkte. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen, sodass das Taxi/Transport nicht direkt bis zur Anlage fahren kann. Die Hauptstraße ist jedoch in etwa drei Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Zudem befindet sich die Unterkunft mitten in einem Wohngebiet der Einheimischen, wodurch man insbesonders regelmäßig den Hahnenschrei hört. Das größte Problem stellte jedoch die hohe Feuchtigkeit im Zimmer dar – Bett, Kleidung und persönliche Gegenstände waren dauerhaft feucht, wodurch wir uns leider nicht wohlfühlen konnten und unsere Sachen kaum trockneten. Der Service war insgesamt in Ordnung, allerdings war selten Personal vor Ort, was organisatorische Abläufe erschwerte. So musste beispielsweise der Wechsel der Handtücher jedes Mal extra angefragt werden.

The best thing is the location of the villas, as they are not so close to the ‘heart’ of General Luna. Nice chepaer restaurants are close. The room is big and nice. So is the bathroom.

Internet, WC, ceiling fan, shower pressure and temperature. These are a list of things that don't work properly or don't work at all. In addition, we stayed there for five nights and, although the rooms were supposed to be cleaned every other day, ours was never cleaned... Not to mention that we waited over an hour for the internet to work so we could check in, and every time we wanted to refill the water in the communal kitchen, there was none.

Only one thing that i didnt like was the dirt road going in the property from the main road l, as it was raining it was difficult to walk through with all the puddles. Otherwise the facilities it and staff were all lovely

Villa bonita y muy buena ubicación

Limpian la habitación cada 3 días, teníamos que ir pidiendo papel de baño o toallas porque nos quedábamos sin ( toallas nuevas nunca trajeron aunque pedíamos). Te dan un número de teléfono al que escribir y tardan mucho en contestar. El último día pedimos transfer al aeropuerto y tuvimos que cogerlo por otro lado después de esperar media hora al sol.

Beautiful decor, plenty of space, a spacious shared kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. Overall, a pleasant and well-designed place to stay.

We were left for several hours without electricity or water, and the shower water was consistently cold. The staff was not always responsive when we needed assistance the most. At one point, we even found our bathroom locked and had to track down a staff member to resolve it. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but far from exceptional.

Beautiful room, huge bathroom and clean

The communication was zero to none and close to disrespectful. I had messaged the property with time of arrival and flight details. I asked about the cost of the transfer were I got a reply and that was the end. I didn’t know if they had actually arranged it for us even though I asked. We manage to arrive on the main road just before the muddy alley to the villas, it was pouring down rain, no one was there to help, I called twice, no answer, we weren’t even sure where we were going. Found it, again no one there. Eventually I found a second number written in the common kitchen and found someone. Later that day I asked for recommendations of tour guides, got a response the next day. On day of departure cleaners came in 35 minutes before check out without knocking, I asked for the van to the airport and was told a higher price than the other manager that had arranged the arrival one and when I questioned it, it got corrected.

移動の関係で到着時間が予定より大幅に遅れてしまったが、時間過ぎても対応してくれた。近くにはBBQやミニショップもあったので夜ご飯は気軽に食べやすいかと。部屋の中はとても良い香りが漂っていました。

冷蔵庫や机は別の部屋にあります。ご注意を。旅行日に島に停電が起きるかどうか事前に確認しておきましょう。丸一日電気が通らず、暑い中夜を過ごすこともあります。それと虫が出たり、停電後は電気が不安定なので注意しましょう。鍵が中から閉めづらいです。

Villa preciosa y súper acogedora en un lugar ideal para descansar y estar cerca de todo. La habitación era enorme y el baño espectacular. Cama muy cómoda y todo muy limpio. La piscina un plus para darte un baño en cualquier momento. Nika nos trató fenomenal y nos ayudó en todo momento así como todos los trabajadores. Sin duda volvería a alojarme ahi una y otra vez.

Las camas, el diseño y el tamaño de las habitaciones están muy bien conseguidos. Por otro lado necesita mejorar el mantenimiento tanto de la piscina como de los sistemas de suministro de agua de red, agua caliente y aire acondicionado.

El mantenimiento de las instalaciones. Nada más llegar, llama la atención el color oscuro del fondo de la piscina. Está limpia, pero con el fondo desgastado y sin pintar. Los cortes de luz afectan directamente al agua por lo que ducharse o ir al baño es imposible cuando se va la luz. Se espera un poco más por la relación de precio.

La villa è bellissima, pulita e lo staff gentile e disponibile. Posizione fuori dal caos ma comoda per arrivare nella tourism road in scooter (5 minuti) e a pochissimo dalla spiaggia di cloud 9

Solo Wi-Fi era molto debole nella nostra stanza, andrebbe rinforzato visto che in generale nell’isola la rete non va molto, anche con sim filippina

¡Todo! Está alejado un pelín del bullicio de General Luna y se descansa muy bien. La habitación era muy grande y amplia con una pequeña terraza. Nica y su equipo son encantadores y siempre con una sonrisa. Nos encantó, si volvemos por Siargao, repetiremos.

The residence and rooms are incredibly beautiful and wonderfully maintained and fit our extended family perfectly. The location is peaceful and positioned well for Cloud 9 on foot, and GL by tricycle. Nika and staff couldn't be more helpful and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay.

Being only the third booking for the main residence, we did notice that we lacked some soft furnishings and convenience items (like washcloths, hand towels, etc.) This was quickly remedied and we have been advised that all these things will be standard for our next visit! An additional air conditioning unit in the lower level of the residence would also be a welcome addition.
