Reviewed Aug 30, 2026When will landlords who rent out premises and deceive people finally be held accountable? The smell of a dog fills the entire building for three floors.The toilet has serious technical deficiencies. There is no ventilation, and the odor spreads throughout the third floor, affecting the residents.The cheapest breakfast costs 500 kronor.I booked a double family bed, but it was not provided.I was definitely there for the first and last time.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026el lugar es muy bonito junto a un lago, apartado de pueblos, Lena muy amable, la casa tiene encanto, habitaciones con decoración antigua pero bonitas y buenas vistas.
el jardín no está cuidado, es muy grande y hace tiempo que no ha sido limpiado ni cortado, han crecido hierbas de todo tipo, una pena, esperábamos más.

Altes Haus mit Charme, leider jedoch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Unterkunft war staubig, teilweise unsauber und ungepflegt, auch der Garten machte keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Zwischen den Matratzen befand sich Schmutz. Bilder bei Booking betrügen Laut Booking sollte sich im Zimmer eine Sauna befinden. Vor Ort erklärte die Gastgeberin jedoch, dass diese bereits seit etwa zehn Jahren nicht mehr funktioniert und sie selbst nicht wusste, dass sie auf Booking noch angeboten wird. Das Frühstück war sehr minimalistisch, zudem waren die Brötchen nicht fertig gebacken. Insgesamt leider enttäuschend.

La stanza è molto piccola e ci sono parecchie scale da fare. Non c'è la possibilità di cucinare che si trova quasi sempre in altri alloggi

I booked a room with “a private bathroom”, but upon arriving I was told by the host that the bathroom would be shared. After complaining that this wasn’t I reserved and paid for, I was told that I flat out wrong, and that the booking listing clearly stated that the bathroom was shared. When I told her that I could prove that the listing actually listed the room as having a private bathroom on the booking.com app, she stood there with a smug arrogant face waiting to disprove my claim. As I finally showed her proof that I was right, and it indeed the website listed it as a private bathroom, she barely apologized, and confirmed that “it must have been a mistake in the listing”. I had to find an alternative stay on the spot, which was clearly a major inconvenience during this time of the year, request a cancellation and refund of what I paid, and leave the property under the looks of a person that clearly was in the wrong but could not be bothered to admit her fault, barely said a word of excuse, and looked annoyed for being proved wrong. Not a goodbye or anything, really unprofessional.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026mysigt område precis vid vattnet, ca 100m till badplats. Vi hade med egen mat grill fanns att hyra för 100kr men inga andra möjligheter att laga mat. Bastun gick inte att använda. Jag sov i en säng som knarrade rejält så fort jag rörde mig. Helt ok frukost men trist med bakeoff bröd. Vi hade med oss hund som kostade 100kr extra

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Lena's house transports you to another era. It is iconic on the outside and beautifully decorated on the inside. Lena is kind and friendly, and she also prepared a delicious, thoughtfully presented breakfast for us. .
We would have appreciated a little more attention to cleanliness. Perhaps it was simply a particularly busy or difficult day for the hosts, which may have affected the level of attention given. Overall, however, we had a very pleasant stay.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Värden är väldigt gästvänlig och trevlig. Rummet helt ok och vi saknade ingenting. Spännande att se trädgården där mycket kärlek hade lagts på dess utformning. Väldigt trevliga promenadstråk i omgivningarna.
Inget negativt med boendet. Väl på plats så insåg vi att vi inte helt förstått vad som ingått i rummet då vi trodde att vi hade uteplats i anslutning till rummet vilket inte var fallet. Uteplats fanns dock men som gemensam yta för alla gäster.

Reviewed Dec 2, 2025gehobene, sehr individuell und außergewöhnlich geschmackvolle Ausstattung, beste Gastgeberin, sehr gute Auskünfte zu jeder Zeit erhalten, frisches, vegetarisches und vollwertiges Frühstück auf Anfrage, traumhaft schöne Villa, sehr ruhig und idyllisch nahe dem Mälarsee gelegen, gute Verbindung mit dem Zug nach Stockholm( vom Nachbarort ),viele Sehenswürdig keiten in der nahen Umgebung z.B. Schloss Gripsholm. Kontakt zur Gastgeberin sehr unkompliziert und bereichernd, wenn man es möchte. Wir hätten es besser nicht treffen können. Einmaliges Ambiente im Haus und Garten, für Gartenliebhaber ein Geschenk.
für Menschen mit Angst vor Hunden eher ungeeignet, für tierliebe Gäste ein Paradies.

Das Zimmer war toll, mit Ausblick auf den See, das ganze Haus mit Garten sehr liebevoll gepflegt/ eingerichtet. Sehr nette Hausbesitzerin und das Frühstück (gegen Aufpreis) am Morgen wurde frisch und auch mit liebe bereitet.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Unsere Gastgeberin Lena war sehr zuvorkommend, das von ihr geführte Haus äußerst liebevoll mit Retromöbeln in sehr wohligem Stil ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist üppig und sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Die Lage der Villa ist in Fußnähe des Sees und inmitten eines wundervollen Gartens. Die Gegend erscheint äußert behaglich, gehoben und sicher.
Einige der 6-7 Einheiten im Haus sind mit eigenem Bad, andere mit Geneinschaftsbad. Das gilt es bei der Buchung zu beachten, wenn man Wert darauf legt. Wer Probleme mit Hunden hat (der sehr große aber herzensgute Villahund "Basil" ist regelmäßig anwesend) oder es nicht aushält, wenn hier und da Spinnweben sind, ist in der Villa Kämparo falsch. Die Zimmer bzw Appartements sind größtenteils von außen nicht abschließbar.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025Lina was great at welcoming and assisting guests. She was also helpful in providing anything extra we requested, such as heating. The place we were allocated was clean and tidy. greenery and fresh air, lovely flowers which owner sells gives fresh feel .
Although the place was clean, having a dog at home meant we often found dog hair on our socks and clothes. Families with young children may need to take extra care. The lack of an attached toilet could be inconvenient for families with kids, especially if they need to use the restroom during the night. Overall, the addition of an attached toilet and a small kitchen would greatly improve the stay. But family with car not having kitchen requirement would be good option
