Hätte gemütlicher eingerichtet sein können. Wenig Licht. Bilder auf der Buchungsseite entsprechen nicht (immer) dem Appartement.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Die Unterkunft ist Fussläufig zu einigen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Küche ist super umfangreich ausgestattet und auch das Apartment ist sehr großzügig geschnitten. Man hat eine Möglichkeit auf einer kleinen Terrasse an seinem Eingang zu sitzen und es ist unter anderem auch ein kleiner Garten Abschnitt mit Liegen vorhanden. Self Check in auch bei späterer Anreise möglich, nur Cash Zahlung möglich.
Kleiner Manko war das Bett, es war wirklich super hart. Einen richtigen Mountainview direkt aus der Unterkunft hat man leider nicht.

They were there to help on everything at anytime and the accommodation was vey spacious and clean. Perfect location to visit southwest of the island. I would repeat without any doubt.

Nos dieron un alojamiento diferente al que habíamos reservado, una habitación con baño en una casa con comedor, salón y cocina compartida, aunque fue para nosotros porque no había más gente. La comunicación breve. En el piso de arriba vive gente y se escuchan muchísimo los gritos o voces, así como las entradas y salidas.

La atención por parte del dueño no fue muy buena. Preguntamos por la lavadora y no nos respondió, tuvimos que comprar jabón y tender la ropa como pudimos en la habitación porque estaba lloviendo y más tarde vimos que otros huéspedes tenían tendedero y jabón que les había proporcionado el dueño. Uno de los días nos quedamos sin sitio para aparcar y tampoco nos dio ninguna solución cuando se suponía que el parking estaba incluido. Finalmente pedimos hacer el check out una hora más tarde y no nos dijo que no pero tampoco que sí…

Tout est à disposition, linge de bain, adaptateurs prises, ustensile de cuisine inclu grille pain, micro-onde, bouilloire, et machine à laver, ainsi que place de parking. La petite terrasse est un must le matin pour son café. Tout est accessible à pieds (Super marché et ATM + Coffee shop et restaurants) Nettoyage quotidien et hôte très réactif et s'assure que votre séjour se passe au mieux ! Je recommande sincèrement ce logement au calme à La Gaulette

Інтернет (WiFi) був посередній. Хотілось би швидший. Влітку в жаркий сезон може бути жарко у вітальні і у кухні бо нема кондиціонеру. Якщо на довгий термін то не вистачало б пральної машинки.

Only thing I can recommend is sharper knives for the kitchen and perhaps a few staples like salt/pepper, oil.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Moc fajn pan majitel, se vším moc ochotně pomohl. Ubytování bylo velice čisté a vcelku dobře vybavené. Potěšila nás klimatizace v ložnici, která nefoukala přímo na postel, takže zajistila příjemný spánek po celou noc. Supermarket je jen pár minut od ubytování. Autobusová zastávka je také velmi blízko. Fotky ubytování odpovídají realitě.

Il y a très peu de bus direct pour la plage du morne. Mais il y a plus de bus allant au centre de bus à baie du cap. Sur ce trajet, il est alors possible de s'arrêter au début du chemin pour l'ascension du morne.

Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte besser sein, z.B. Salz, Pfeffer, Gewürze, Kaffefilter etc. war nicht vorhanden.

Walking distance to GSR supermarket and a couple of restaurants. Daily cleaning of the apartment with frequent towel change. Very responsive and easy going host.
Open shower with water splashing onto the bathroom floor. Fairly hard spring mattress The cleaning materials used are quite smelly Inside the kitchen cabinets could do with a good clean.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026Ideaal gelegen in La Gaulette, dicht bij restaurants en supermarkt. De studio is voorzien van alle gemakken en wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt. Shan is een goede gastheer, als je iets miste of je had iets nodig dan hoefde je het maar te vragen en het wordt voor je geregeld! Ook kan je via Mountain Vieuw een auto of scooter huren. Dank je wel Shan, voor een mooie tijd bij jullie.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025No frills guest house located on a side road opposite La Gualette police station. Multiple rooms on two floors some with a nice mountain view and others with a garden view. We thought we booked a mountain view room from the pictures associated with the room but it was a front-facing room. At the end, we didn't spend much time in the room, so it didn't bother us. Need to contact Shan/owner on wattsapp to arrange arrival time, then will meet and give keys and instructions. He was actually a pleasant guy to deal with and helpful. Parking for a few cars in the compound otherwise free street parking outside. There is a fridge, kitchen facilities and good sized shower room as well. There is a top loading washing machine provided for use outside and drying rack is also available. Overall good place to rest your head after long days at beach or hiking. Chose this place if you are renting a car. Public transport is available but unpredictable. Food options are limited off season or late in the evening with only 2 or 3 restaurants within walking distance. There is a supermarket nearby as well.

Unica pecca, la pulizia la fanno a giorni alterni sui piani, quindi non ho potuto usufruire del servizio (non eravamo stati aggiornati anticipatamente di questa cosa). Mentre la stanza dei nostri amici al piano terra sì. Nonostante questo è stata la miglior struttura (su 5) in cui abbiamo alloggiato.

Calidad precio exclente. Buena ubiaciòn. Al lado del supermercado, del centro del pueblo y restaurantes. Estuvimos 12 días porque nos encantó. El apartamento es amplio, nuevo y luminoso. Limpian a diario. Preciosas vistas a la montaña. Volveríamos a repetir encantados.

The lighting wasn't so good, so the room was quite dark. The safe wasn't working and a key wasn't supplied despite asking.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025Mr Shan the owner was hospitable. Our plane landed late at night and it was raining hard. The drive to the property took longer than expected but Mr Shan was waiting by the gate for us well after check out time. The home was near the beach in Le Morne and easy access to the 7 coloured Earth. Close to shops and other amenities. The room was comfortable and clean. We got a clean midday through our stay. Definitely get what you paid for.
There was a bit of smell in the room and the sink was blocked. But Mr Shan did try and unblock it for us.
