Dorsett Wuhan

I have no complaints. Everything was smooth during our stay. Room was cleaned each and everyday. Towels replaced daily as well. Great view of the bank where we could see the light shows each night. Pedestrian street right beside the building. Shopping and eateries nearby was soo convenient. Hands down, best trip ever. Will be coming back definitely.

The only thing that didn't work out was that my payments on the vending machines couldn't go through because of my credit score 🙃 so better luck next time.

The rooms are very spacious and the design is simple. The best feature of the rooms is the table and bench.

Requiring two lifts to get back to your room is not ideal, however I note this isnt within the control of the hotel

Good location to get to places, staff very nice and helpful, beautiful hotel on the inside. Lots of shopping near by and a good street market. With it being a busy area we couldn’t hear anything inside our hotel which was nice.

Beds were not the softest, bed was damp and sticky because window was left open when we arrived. Outside the hotel was messy because it is one of the busiest streets but that’s understandable and the hotel can’t control that.

Spelling of the is wrong. Should be Dor-rubbish. Check-in took forever Checked in at 5pm and sent me to room not made up. Cleaner took dirty towels from floor from previous occupants and just hung it on the rail. Wifi shockingly slow and kept stopping.  TV kept buffering and freeze panes. Cleaning staff had an attitude and toilets in lobby disgustingly dirty. Have no idea how it gets such a high rating other than it manipulated. Someone said bus loads of tourists come from other areas to enjoy Wuhan and get told by the tour operator to give it a high score to qualify for good rates. Have no proof - but makes sense. Front manager had no clue on her job.

Dit was mijn favoriete hotel tijdens mijn hele reis. De locatie was perfect, centraal gelegen met alle winkels, eetgelegenheden en actitviteiten in de buurt die je nodig zou kunnen hebben. De kamer is heel ruim, comfrotabel en proper. Personeel was ondanks de taalbarrière heel behulpzaam, een vertaalapp is heel handig om toch vlot te communiceren. Ik zou dit hotel meteen opnieuw boeken indien ik terug naar Wuhan zou reizen.

Dit hotel is gelegen in een drukke winkelstraat waar er al heel vroeg in de ochtend (rond 7u 's ochtends) al veel muziek en activiteit is tot laat in de avond. Op zich was dit voor mij geen probleem omdat ik zelf ook vroeg opstond en vrij laat ging slapen om mijn activiteiten te kunnen doen. Maar anders denk ik dat oordoppen geen luxe zijn voor de lichte slapers.

Das Hotel liegt inmitten der Jianghan Pedestrian Street, es ist also super um sich zu Fuß auf den Weg zu machen und die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Personal spricht brauchbares Englisch. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für den Preis OK und sehr sauber. Mein Zimmerfenster lag hofseitig, und war daher auch ruhig.

Extrem hellhörige Zimmer, die Wände sind sehr dünn. Das Bett fand ich sehr unbequem. Dadurch dass das Hotel in einer Fußgängerzone liegt, ist es sehr schwer zügig ein Taxi zu bekommen. Mann muss vor allem zu Stoßzeiten ein paar Straßen weiter gehen, da hier viele Einbahnstraßen sind.

Location was excellent! Once out of hotel, is local food and shops to shop around and literally you can walk the entire street which includes tourists attraction, bus tour around city rides and boat rights. Housekeeping was wonderful. They are ready to attend to request. Very helpful. Will definitely come back again.

Unlike other hotels, they only have breakfast buffet. No room service. But, doesn't matter because the street food has so much to choose.

Our room was old and smelled of damp. There was mould in the bathroom. The carpets are old and dirty, we did not have any view. There was major renovations causing noise throughout the day until 1830hrs.

Väldigt bra lokation- nära till metro och staden. Tillmötesgående när de hade bygge i huset och uppgraderade mitt rum och fick frukost (de började arbeta kl 7 på morgonen och där var inget vatten i 2 dagar)

Luktade rök i rummet fast det stod att det inte var ett rökrum, inte helt rent bara få i personalen pratade någon typ av engelska. Om man inte uppskattar Kinesisk frukost är det inte mycket på frukosten för en.

Comfortable well situated property with helpful staff

Long hours of building works which were extremely noisy prohibited relax time for about 12 hours a day every day of our 7 night stay.

We got a free upgrade due to the construction which was very considerate. From the cleaning staff to reception, everyone was friendly and happy to help.

The night before check out, we got a call from reception after 10pm just to see how we liked our stay. Just passing on that that is far too late to be calling.

Exceptional room - spacious, great views, and excellent facilities! And all in a fantastic, very central location.

The property a bit dated, but is top standard. I loved my stay and enjoyed a free upgrade. The location is just perfect, couldn't get any better.

I was impressed by its excellent location in the city center, close to public transport and major attractions. The surroundings were vibrant and convenient, making exploration effortless. The room I stayed in was spotless. It was well maintained with a comfortable king bed and modern amenities. What truly elevated my experience was the polite and enthusiastic staff, especially Anson at the front desk. From check-in to check-out, he was professional, warm, and efficient. He patiently explained hotel facilities, provided local tips, and even ensured a seamless departure process. His genuine hospitality made me feel valued as a guest.

Its in the heart of City Centre. Metro is 200 meter away. You can go anywhere of Wuhan, from this Metro. I was actual visited for CIDPEX which was 30 mintues away from this hotel through metro. All restaurent are nearly. Besides there is popular Jianghan road pedestrian street. Always people are doing activity. Very popular place for shopping. Hotel is very neat and clean. They clean the room everyday. Staffs are very friendly. They even allowed me to check out at late 3.30 PM. I specially would like to mention Ms. Mary for her extraordinary help.

Very difficult to get Halal food.

Very convenient location, in the centre of Jianghan Road, 5 mins walk to 2 metro station directly to most of the attractions and airport. Room was clean and tidy spacious, friendly staff helped to arrange a crib which is a proper my little one had a very good sleep. The room was also very quiet might be we were at level 15. Very good experience overall!

Fantastic location, 5 minutes walk to Jianghan Road metro station and there are lots of eateries and shops. Room is very spacious and clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel was happy to extend check-out by 2 hours because of my late departure from Wuhan.

Breakfast costs RMB 24 pp and was mostly Chinese dishes and not impressive. There was no AC at all during our stay, apparently not turned on for the season. They had to supply us with an area fan.

Location very good and a nice walk from Hotel to Jianghan road metro station about 7-8mins. A bit dated but value for money. Room without windows is a bit dark. Requested for additional lights and was given a table lamp which helps a bit.

The hotel was generally ok but the wifi was terrible. Lucky i didnt need it much. There facilities listed a bar. There is no bar within the common understanding of what a bar is.

The location at the centre of the city where the pedestrian mall is location is excellent. It is also a short 15 minutes walk to the Wuhan Art Gallery which has some interesting exhibition. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious.

The carpet at the corridors could do with a refreshing. It is very worn.

Very good location right next to Jianghan road, filled with shops, food courts and a lot of people basically all hours of the day. Right next to a very big night market in the nights as well. This is probably the most popular area in Hankou, maybe even in the whole Wuhan. Also relatively close to the Yangtze river and it's park which is a nice stroll area. They have a nice gym with good treadmills. Metro quite close by.

Really great location and awesome breakfast. We booked the room with a queen+twin bed and also requested a crib for our family of 4. There was plenty of room and our stay was very comfortable.

Hotel location is very convenient just around the main walking street. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Easy Taxi ride to the main attractions. Got a free room upgrade with nice view. Room was very large with big window. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

If not because the staff members were so nice, I would rate this hotel 3 out of 10. The location was great. The staff member gave me a room with good view. The breakfast is good enough with boiled eggs, green vegetable, yogurt, fruits, and hot foods.

The facilities are very much outdated and need maintenance. The interior is old and broken which make the rooms and hallways look dirty.

Great location, just off the Jinghan road. Great selection of stores, metro station, restaurants and other shops nearby. Easy walk to the river side. Overall spacious room, got upgraded to a suite instead of a room. Comfortable bed, and great water pressure. The GM on reception spoke great English! Great value for money.

The rooms are a bit dated, the walls would need a fresh coat of paint, and some facilities would need an update (like the central AC). Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Location, service, friendliness of staff, good for long stays

I was there for a layover, took me about 40 minutes from the airport and costed 90 rmb with the toll. Check in was smooth and the room was quite luxurious. I freshened up and walked down to the market for some shopping, didnt realize i spent 2 hours there. Kept my stuff and took a taxi to a place recommended by the staff for a bit of night life. Took me only 10 minutes to get there. Came back and slept, got up, checked out, the hotel staff called me a taxi for the airport and went back.

Conclusion comes first: We shall be back. The hotel and its room are clean. I would give it a 5-star rating despite of it is not a 5-star hotel. The staff are helpful and always more then happy to help. Staying for 3 nights on 14th floor, we hardly hear any noise and it was very quiet and peaceful. Though the hotel is situated in old part of the city, the benifits is one will find lots and great variety of foods. It is also next to the "walking mall" and one will have much to see and experience. Be the next guess to the hotel and I guarantee you would not be disappointed.

Unless you are very picky and try to find bone in an egg, otherwise you should not have any complaints.
