Personale accogliente in un contesto fiabesco. Tutto perfettamente al suo posto. il ristorante è un motivo in più per alloggiare in questa struttura, avendo la certezza di mangiare benissimo.

Parto con il dire che lo staff veramente gentile disponibile simpatico come se fossimo in famiglia. Invece per quanto riguarda la struttura più bella dal vivo che dalle foto spettacolare le case come è stato costruito si vede che è tenuto bene con cura poi meraviglioso svegliarsi in mezzo al verde o comunque passare dei giorni lì tra la natura vera e propria. La cucina altrettanto buonissima io e il mio ragazzo ci siamo innamorati della pasta al pistacchio favolosa ma non solo quella. Pulizia impeccabile ho adorato il bagnoschiuma e la crema al bergamotto. Noi abbiamo usufruito anche della zona relax i soldi li vale tutti i due drink inclusi buonissimi penso di non aver bevuto un gin così buono era un po forte per me ma buono, la spa ci ha rigenerato totalmente prima sauna poi doccia e infine jacuzzi siamo usciti da lì come delle gelatine. Un grazie a tutto lo staff per il bellissimo weekend che ci hanno fatto passare i soldi li vale tutti.

forse la stanza matrimoniale il costo un po tanto per due notti però penso magari alla colazione inclusa e tutto il resto bellissimo. Anche il posto però se cerchi un posto in mezzo al verde stai sicuro che sarà difficile arrivarci anche se comunque loro offrono il transfer efficiente.

Un’esperienza fantastica ai piedi dell’Etna! Soggiorno semplicemente perfetto a Locanda Milia. La struttura è bellissima, immersa in una cornice naturale spettacolare alle pendici dell’Etna. Un plauso speciale va a tutto lo staff: gentilissimi, simpaticissimi e sempre pronti a farti sentire a casa con il sorriso. Nota di merito d'eccellenza per il ristorante: piatti buonissimi e curati nei minimi dettagli. Siamo stati benissimo e non vediamo l'ora di ritornare! Consigliatissimo!

Personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo, struttura immersa in un osso di natura e tranquillità. Abbiamo cenato in struttura e la qualità dei piatti era eccellente. Cucina a vista , segno di assoluta igiene.

We loved this place so much! Like a fairy dream land in the woods and so close to Mount Etna! We arrived by taxi, and it was easily accessible by car. Once we arrived we were welcomed with early check in and some meats/cheeses and a tour of the wine cellar! Gieseppe and staff were incredible hosts and made us feel very at home! We ate at the restaurant each night and the food is outstanding! They even use fresh ingredients like mushrooms from the property and the breakfast in the morning was delightful! We will be back for sure!

If we would have rented a car to get around that would have been helpful but because we didn’t rent a car we used bikes from Locanda milia and arranged transfers through them which was very easy and reliable!

Soggiorno meraviglioso, immerso nel bosco, in una splendida suite con vasca idromassaggio. Abbiamo cenato direttamente nella taverna, dove abbiamo trovato cibo di alta qualità e piatti davvero ottimi. Il personale è stato sempre gentile, disponibile e attento. Un ringraziamento speciale a Pippo e Peppe, che con la loro accoglienza e simpatia ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Un'esperienza da ripetere e che consiglio vivamente!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Locanda Milna. From the moment we arrived, the family who run the hotel made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Travelling with fussy children can be challenging, but they were incredibly attentive and even prepared bespoke vegetarian meals that suited both us and our kids perfectly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their kindness and flexibility made all the difference. The breakfasts and evening meals were outstanding, made with fresh local ingredients and full of flavour. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying sunset drinks overlooking Mount Etna. The hosts made it such a special experience, often treating us to complimentary drinks and snacks while we watched the sun go down. They also shared excellent local recommendations, always checked that we had everything we needed, and even kindly allowed us a late check-out before our evening flight, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the perfect place. The hotel is small, quiet and tucked away in a beautiful, remote setting. For much of our stay, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, making it the ideal escape to truly relax and unwind. What stood out most was the genuinely personalised service. We never felt like just another booking – we felt like valued guests. The family and staff consistently went above and beyond to make our holiday memorable. I couldn't recommend Locanda Milna more highly and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Let's back to the hotel. Hotel is middle of forest. Part of nature. Excellent restorant and bar. Rooms are enough size, clean and slient. Very good place to rest. Even if we decided not climb to Ethna.

Beautiful contemporary buildings that blend into this amazing forestry backdrop! The perfect place for anyone looking to climb Etna or enjoys trekking. The staff were amazing, so helpful, knowledgable and kind, they provided many extra things to what was already a perfect getaway which added such value and ease to our trip, we felt so well looked after from start to finish, a perfect stress free holiday! A special mention to Andrea who’s food was divine!! We’ve eaten at many top restaurants around the world and his food alone would be worth the visit! Truly remarkable chef! We will be recommending to our friends/family and anyone interested in this region of Scilly.

It's an amazing location up in the mountains in the shadow of mount Etna ! From the moment we parked we were welcomed by Valentina to the moment we departed the staff and service was outstanding. The team is awesome - Peppe, Giuseppe, Rosario, Mary, Andre, Rossella,Irene and Valentina all were super cool and welcoming. Amazing place and super service and people. Dinner was another amazing experience and so was the customised breakfast ! Giuseppe - You might want to start a mushroom hunting activity for guests ;-) Thank you so much for taking care of us and making our stay amazing !!

La chambre magnifique avec du très beau mobilier. Les plats au restaurant était très bon. Petit déjeuner à emporter pour pouvoir faire l’excursion à l’heure. Un petit visiteur le soir 🦊. Nous avons adoré et nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Absolument tout ! Si on avait pu mettre 11 sur 10, on l'aurait fait. L'endroit est hors du temps, très proche du refuge de Sapienza pour le départ sur l'Etna, la cuisine délicieuse et un personnel très serviable. Rapport qualité prix extraordinaire

Magnifique hôtel rempli de charme au milieu de la forêt. Décoré avec beaucoup de goût, il vous réserve plusieurs surprises. Je recommande absolument de manger au restaurant qui fait partie intégrante de l’expérience.

Das Frühstück war perfekt, die Lage zum Etna refugium sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, da das Personal auch sehr nett war. Besonders Maria Giovanna.

Magnifique découverte que cet établissement au milieu d’une forêt de châtaigniers avec une superbe décoration épurée et luxueuse et des hôtes très sympathiques. Situé à 12’ en voiture du téléphérique de l’Etna. Mention spéciale pour la table le soir avec des plats typiques siciliens dont de la viande cuite au feu de bois accompagnés de vins délicieux. Bravo et merci à Pepe et à sa formidable équipe.

Assez difficile à trouver car plus de gps 8’ avant d’arriver à destination mais heureusement bien balisé par qqs panneaux.

Alles war perfekt. Sehr gut ausgestattetes, neues und kleines Hotel, das sehr ruhig in einem Pinienwald gelegen ist. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und das Abendessen war mit Abstand das Beste in unserem ganzen Sizilienurlaub. Zum Abschluss des Abends zeigte uns noch der Inhaber seinen Weinkeller aus Lavagestein. Eine tolle Abwechslung zum Massentourismus und jede Empfehlung wert.

Sehr schöner Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen zum Etna. Es geht zwar nicht direkt am Hotel los, aber näher und besser zum Etna kann man nicht wohnen.

This hotel was perfect! The staff were all so friendly and our server for evening dinner claudio was incredible. They Made us feel like we were at home. We were celebrating our honeymoon and it has been our favourite spot in Sicily. It was quiet, relaxing and a romantic setting. There are lots of cute foxes in the evening that love to say hello too!

One of the best hotels we staid in our full trip! Staff very friendly , incredible nature with bonfires around at night. What we liked the most was the restaurant, the food was crazy good, I recommend to eat every night there and to choose a different dish , you won’t be disappointed.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, sehr nettes Personal und ein sehr bequemes Bett! Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und sehr nah am Ätna. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet, wir kommen gerne wieder :) Ein absolutes Highlight ist auch der tierische Besuch der Füchse 🧡

Immersa nella quiete del bosco, confortevole, tranquilla, curata nei minimi dettagli. Ospitalità del proprietario e del suo staff ottima. Letti comodissimi, stanze ampie, pantofole e set di cortesia, macchinetta del caffè/bollitore in camera. Cena molto buona, ingredienti freschi e chef che cucina a vista. Atmosfera da fiaba . Abbiamo anche usato la zona relax con la sauna e la jacuzzi vista bosco. Meravigliosa

Het is de hele ervaring, het is prachtig opgezet in het het mooiste gedeelte Etna Sud. Heerlijk ontspannen met goed eten en drinken en het is korte rit van 10 minuten over een prachtige weg om te gaan wandelen bij een van de vele kraters van de Etna. Het personeel was fantastisch en we hebben hier heerlijk gegeten en lokale wijn en andere streekproducten kunnen ontdekken. Echt een top locatie!

Kleine dingen op de kamer, die niet zo handig zijn. Het bed is overduidelijk vernieuwd (en is fantastisch) en daardoor verplaatst naar de andere kant van de kamer. Dus alle stopcontanten en schakelaars zitten nog aan de andere kant i.p.v. naast het bed.

Meravigliosa struttura immersa nel bosco dove si può veramente staccare la spina dalla frenesia della vita quotidiana. Consigliatissima la spa che, seppur piccolina, merita decisamente. Ottimo ristorante e ottima attenzione al cliente, torneremo sicuramente.

The property is so unique. The design esthetic is earth modern, the room itself is high end comfort. The room design would be expected in MYC or London. Giant slab floors were gorgeous and the attention to smart detail without being snooty was first class. Nighttime chef, spot on!! And jack of all trades Claudio does such a beautiful job, both, caring and engaging all clients. Peppo the owner was so lovely, with a background in construction/ design…kicks it out of the box. Everything was fantastic0!!!

Absolutely stunning setting in a pine forest on the slopes of Etna. It’s all quite magical, a bit like fairyland, beautifully built with separate chalets dotted around in the woods. Lovely areas to sit and relax. Walks nearby.

Nothing to dislike but the rooms are dimly lit which we weren’t so keen on.

Soggiorno semplicemente fantastico e rigenerante! Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo trascorso una notte in occasione del suo compleanno, ed è stato tutto perfetto, dall’inizio alla fine. La location è incantevole: sembra di essere immersi in un bosco fatato, lontani da qualsiasi rumore e distrazione, accompagnati solo dai suoni della natura. La camera era splendida, impeccabilmente pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Anche la cena e la colazione sono state all’altezza delle aspettative, con prodotti freschi e di grande qualità. Un ringraziamento speciale a tutto lo staff, estremamente accogliente e premuroso: Valentina, Peppe, Claudio, Rossella e lo Chef (spero di non aver sbagliato qualche nome!). Siete riusciti a trasmettere tutta la passione e l’amore che mettete nel vostro lavoro e nella cura della struttura. Torneremo sicuramente. Complimenti davvero!

The hotel itself is beautifully placed in its woodland setting on the slopes of Mount Etna. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need and more. All of it integrates with the landscape as if you are part of it and at the same time protected from it. Just amazing and that is not the best part. Even better are the people. The prefect example of Sicilian hospitality every single person of the staff goes above and beyond. We were sorry not to have had more time to go on hikes and enjoy the place. Dinner was excellent and their wine selection is very good. I highly recommend.

Locanda Milia is truly magical. Situated in a chesnut forest, it is a nature lover's paradise. We were after the quiet, nature, delicious food and able to go on long walks, and Locanda Milia delivered that and more. From the second we arrived here, we were greeted with amazing hospitality and that level of hospitality continued throughout our stay here. Super friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. It's an exceptionally beautiful property, finished to high standards and it is really clear that the owners and staff take great pride with their hotel and it's surroundings. Clean, beautiful nature, great food, friendliness, the sound of nature and adorable foxes, what more could you want? It is truly a hidden gem and we cannot wait to be back!

The entire property is impeccably maintained and super clean, making it so easy to relax. As for the dining—wow. The on-site restaurant serves hands-down the best food in the area, and waking up to their genuine, authentic breakfast was the absolute perfect way to start a day of exploring the volcano. I cannot recommend Locanda Milia highly enough. An exceptional stay in every way, and I can't wait to return!
