Reviewed Jul 2, 2026This hotel served as a great stopover point for our trip. The location is very convenient, not far from Wakayama Station, making it easily accessible whether you are driving or taking public transit. Free parking was a huge plus. For breakfast, you pre-order at the front desk and it gets delivered straight to your room—it was standard, neither amazing nor bad, just okay.
The only downside is the neighborhood at night. There are quite a few izakayas (Japanese pubs) nearby, so the crowd around the hotel can feel a bit chaotic and lively in the evening.

TV remote and display had no language option, so we had to Google translate to use the in-house service menu. Not a huge deal breaker though. Also no laundry facilities on site was a bit inconvenient, we were able to drive to a laundry but without a car it would be hard to find one nearby.
