Sehr gutes Essen,freundliche Mitarbeiter.Zimmer geräumig und sehr schön gestaltet.Ruhige Lage.

Da gab es nichts auszusetzen.

L’emplacement est calme , un peu dans la forêt , la chambre est bien décorée , la literie est agréable et je dirais que le petit - déjeuner est correct . Le Parking est un peu loin, donc vous devez monter vos valises par des escaliers ou dans des graviers. Le repas du soir est un peu onéreux, mais il était délicieux. J’avoue que j’ai été un peu déçu de l’ambiance générale de cette structure. On nous a proposé aucune activité (bain chaud dehors)

Je m’attendais à beaucoup mieux pour le prix J’ai trouvé cette établissement pas du tout chaleureux , par rapport à ce que reflète les photos .

Located within 30-40 minutes of good hiking. Nicely situated in a small forest. Dinners were generous and delicious. Staff were helpful.

The beds are very uncomfortable. Narrow with a thin over-mattress that slipped off to the sides. Shower tiles had mouldy grout. Very expensive to charge the electric car ( we weren’t advised of this and they charged 300K every time we plugged it in, irrespective of how much we charged it). Generally overpriced.

Que para cenar tengas que tomar un menú de tres platos y a la hora establecida que son las 19. Dado que no está para ir caminando a otro sitio, yo sugeriría que al menos hubiera alguna opción a la carta.

Las camas adicionales de la suite están en una buhardilla en la que tienes que ir a gatas. Inaceptable para adolescentes. Al hacer la reserva se indica la edad del niño.

Sehr schöne Umgebung und nette Inhaber, die hinsichtlich des Abendessens trotz des vorgegebenen Menüs auf Präferenzen und Unverträglichkeiten wirklich umfassend eingegangen sind. Dazu war es sehr lecker.

From first contact with Maria we were made to feel very welcome. She offered us welcome drinks and was a real hostess. We were the only ones at dinner that evening so we were invited to have it outside which was lovely. My goodness the food! What can I say. It was the best meal we have eaten in a very long time. The chef is a genius. A wonderful little gem of a place.

Väldigt mysigt, både i hotellet och omgivningarna. Lugnt och fridfullt läge. 3- rättersmiddagen som serveras är mycket god och vällagad. Bra frukost, som man beställer dagen innan. Personalen är omtänksam och serviceminded.

Enda nackdelen är att rummet hade fönsterluckor istället för rullgardin, vilket gjorde att morgonljuset lyste in tidigt.

De kunne ingenting om stedets historie (!) det er helt uakseptabelt å ha en unik samling av historiske hus og ikke vite noe om bakgrunnen/historien. Vi spurte etter info, også om tips til gode vandreruter, men de hadde lite greie på dette. Det var heller ingen brosjyrer eller lignende som kunne fortelle noe. Fantastiske hus utvendig, men innvendig var det moderniserte rom på en billig måte. Ikke ekte treverk, ikke tatt hensyn til bygningenes opprinnelige unikhet Dette er (de hollandske) eierne sitt ansvar - de har laget en altfor billig modernisering av rom (som ser bra ut på Instagram), og har ikke ansatt et personale med kjennskap til stedets originale og unike særpreg Tips: turister som ser etter noe spesielt eller såkalt «boutique», vil ha autentiske opplevelser, historier og fortellinger- ikke et vakkert ytre og et Ikea-indre

Maria, som tok imot oss og var så vennlig, profesjonell og imøtekommende. Sammen med beliggenheten er hun stedets største pluss.

Dette pleide å være en perle, med personlighet og sjarm, fantastisk, lokal mat og god vinkjeller. Med eiere som var til stede og ga de vakre bygningene og gjestene den oppmerksomheten de fortjener. Nå forfaller uteområdene, maten er middels, og spareblusset kjennes gjennomgående. Vakkert presenterte måltider, men billigste produkter over hele linjen. Personalet reddet oppholdet.

Zalig ontbijt op maat zodat er geen ongebruikte overvloed is. Goed drie gangen diner. Mooie omgeving dicht bij nationaal park Langsua. Daar kun je mooi wandelen en klimmen naar Skaget mountain op 1685m hoogte.

Het was erg rustig en mak en de eigenaars waren voor ons onzichtbaar. Een gastvrij onthaal door de receptionistes was fijn, maar geen gastvrouw of gastheer NL in beeld. En geen animatie ter plaatse.

Expérience inoubliable tant par la qualité de l'établissement : emplacement, décoration, service etc...que l'extrême chaleur et élégance de Maria, hôtesse remarquable. Le chef cuisinier est également a remercier et saluer pour le raffinement de ses plats. Adresse de rêves.....

Idyllische Lage im Wald. Liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer (sogar inkl. kleiner Küchennische). Frühstück bestellt man abends, wird für jedes Zimmer zusammengestellt, Lunchpaket kann man dazubuchen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Essen abends im Restaurant war hervorragend, für uns wurde extra etwas Vegetarisches zusammengestellt. Ein kleiner Joker-Supermarkt ist in Laufnähe.

Das Bett (ca. 140 cm) hätte etwas breiter sein können.

We texted the staff that we were on our honeymoon and that if there would be anything they might be able to do to make our stay a tad bit more romantic / special, it would be greatly appreciated. The manager offered to put a bottle of Cremant in our room, implying that it would be free of charger (i.e., never mentioned a price tage in any way). After our stay, we were requested to pay 775 NOK (for retailed ~300 NOK bottle) despite having given us the clear impression that it was on the house. Management was not very understanding of this, and it's was an unfortunate twist to what would've otherwise been a lovely stay.

Loved everything

The boutique hotel is nestled in such a beautiful setting. The rooms are individually appointed and are modern, luxurious, comfortable and unique. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful, and sitting out by the firepit was warm and memorable! Definitely a must on your next trip!

The owner of the hotel is very crafty. We were charged with a full price of a 3 course dinner, which we only had the first course, without notifying us that they gonna charge the full price, though we only had one course. We booked dinner for two but on the day of arrival we decided just have a small quick dinner. We asked whether we can have a small portion and told we could. I understand we canceled at last minute but We were not noted with the dinner cancellation policy. The owner should have clearly told us on the point, that it would be a full charge of the dinner no matter how many courses we have but she didn’t. Instead she intended to charge us full price without notifying us. Very disappointing with the manner. At the end she charged me 50% of the full price. I paid $50 Australian dollars for a sweet potato soup. Ridiculous. After the drama, she even wanted to charge us for two takeaway coffee.

This hotel is superb. The forest setting is calming, the decor is stimulating, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the meals are delicious. A small, casual, outdoor celebration of Easter was an extra treat for guests.

First of all - it's very designed place. From the parking place to restaurant - all of this countryside looking wooden paradise gives you that feeling of Old Good North. Not far-away-very-cold-north, but another one - natural, wooden and cozy place. It's a bit of mountain guest house style. But this particular one house much more hotel-style place. Everything new, clean. Stylish. Very nice restaurant.

Location - in the middle of nature. Super restaurant. A real joy to stay there.

We stayed at the Dutch room. It was so nicely decorated in Dutch style, and we love it. We arrived at the hotel a bit late in the evening and we didn't make a reservation for dinner. The chef, however, managed to fix it, and we could enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner. In addition, the breakfast is very good too. All the staff and the owner are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed a pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

A peaceful little nook not far from some of the most amazing national parks and things to do/see. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming, kind, and personable. The dinner for an additional cost was at the top of the best meals we had our entire trip - absolutely delicious three course menu that we’re still talking about. There were lovely amenities in the room like slippers and heated bathroom floor tiles and it was nice to have some cozy outdoor spaces to sit at all year round. I also appreciated the local beer offerings!

The only thing I can think of is the wifi signal was weak in our room a but for a holiday/honeymoon, that was nice in many ways!

Amazing hotel and amazing host

located inside the woods but right next to town. the suites are huge and amazingly decorated. huge bath + jacuzzi. The owners and staff are just so nice and hospitable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. trails all over where you can just step out and walk to the river/lake/forest. Really relaxing stay.

Magical property! The history of the buildings and interior design is fascinating. A beautiful, serene haven after 8 days of expansive car travel in this amazing country. The owner, chef and staff were outstanding; friendly, informative, gracious and fun! The food was world class. We cannot wait to return…. Takk for such a beautiful stay.

Everything! Kees is a fabulous chef and Tim was a terrific host. The place is simply lovely, comfortable, and elegantly styled. We couldn’t think of anything we’d change.

The uniqueness and character of the Hotel, decoration, general atmosphere. The food, specially the dinner, was top notch. Very attentive and welcoming staff with a personal interaction that makes your stay just very nice and comfortable. It's an amazing hotel with a touch of Norwegian tradition mixed with sophisticated design.

Super charming authentic cabin style hotel with great food. Norwegian room has log burner and small kitchen which is handy if you don't want to eat hotel set menu every night. Lovely sauna in the woods.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location, close to winter activities. Friendly, helpful staff and owner greeted me upon arrival. The room was a good size and bed was v comfortable. Good breakfast selection and vegetarian dinner options. The small, boutique nature of hotel offered a cozy and personal feel.

Lighting in my room (Norwegian) was a bit uneven (e.g., more over kitchenette and bedside reading). Shower area lacked shelving for toiletries, etc. Both are small, easy fixes for more convenience.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel with each room having a different theme. We stayed in the Rome room, which was the only available at that time. Superbly decorated with a great attention to details. The bathroom was hyper-equipped with a bubble tub. We also decided to go for a three-course dinner - food was excellent, fresh and very authentic. It burst with flavors and was served in a superbe dinner / breakfast room! We did not have enough time (nor good weather) to use other facilities, e.g. sauna, barbecue, but it all looked amazing! There were also a lot of activities proposed in the surrounding area, but as we stayed only for a night, we decided to enjoy a simple walk in the nearby forest along the river.

The chef was very friendly but also very talkative and selling himself too much, which was absolutely not needed as the food was excellent and beautifully plated! The breakfast was nice, but when we came (late, but still on time), the buffet was already much empty, and no one asked whether something should be refilled (cheese, ham etc). Finally, we were a little bit surprised that the hotel is promoted as a family run buisness and there is much accent put on the family story, but, at the end of the day, we did neither see the owner nor his kids (his wife had unfortunately passed away). Somehow, the story did not match the reality.

The hotel is really beautiful and nicely decorated within the forrest. The owners (Marco and his son) are very sweet and do everything to give you a super holiday. Their food is delicious with fresh ingredients. When you take your dogs you can easily walk with them unlashed around the corner of the compound along the river. There is also a challenging climb towards the top of a small mountain where you can find moose if lucky. It is a good starting point to explore the stunning Valdresflye road and Jotunheimen area. For children there is a trampo and small playground at the compound.

wonderful character property in forest setting. the two bedroom apartment very comfortable for our family stay. fully equipped kitchen and tasteful decor. guidebooks and board games to hand. next time would like to try dinner at the restaurant (strict l 7.30pm start)

some noise from main road (which is now quite close) but this ceased when all windows shut and in good time for a decent nights sleep

food was at the top level and each meal is prepared with care for details. Fantastic chef. Also room Design is pretty and the bathroom very comfy

if you stay in Rome suite that is on the ground floor, the wooden construction is guite acqustic
