Gobies Garden

Moc Chau ist wohl nicht der Ort, wohin es viele Touristen zieht. Uns hats sehr gefallen. Gobies Garden hat einen paradiesischen Garten mit Koi-Fischen und wunderschönen Pflanzen... insgesamt sehr gepflegt! Die Unterkunft, eine Art einzelne Bungalows, hatten alles, was es braucht, aber sie waren wirklich sehr klein. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder bei schlechtem Wetter müsste man dann auf den grösseren Aufenthaltsraum ausweichen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und gaben Tipps.

It was like stepping into a corner of paradise. The gardin is a wonderful place to relax, and the rooms are tastefully styled. These are only outshone by the hospitality displayed by the hosts. Without getting into any details, they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.

Tranquil setting in a beautiful well taken care of garden with water features. Very peaceful and beautiful setting. Also, our host Nhung was wonderful. She was very attentive to our needs as guests and in such a kind and sincere way. She also made three great restaurant recommendations fo us - one for each night of our stay - that we thoroughly enjoyed. She also connected us with a local tour guide who took us to some unusual sites in the region. Very grateful for Nhung’s kind hospitality.

The land lady was very friendly and supportive. Small garden corners are very nicely arranged and well taken care of. I love going in and out my room passing under the pomelo tree canopy catching the lovely delicate scent of pomelo bloom.

We booked a family room for 3 women. The bathroom is spacious but the room itself is so small that we had to leave our suitcases in our car thus we had to go back and fort for stuff when we needed.

The Garden and the rooms are wonderful! We had a really great time and extented one night because we loved it so much! They care about every detail and the atmosphere is really nice :)

We absolutely loved everything! The family-run resort has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we felt at home right away. The secure parking for our motorcycle was perfect as well. Overall, it was an amazing stay!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The garden is truly special - so well designed, peaceful and relaxing. We made the booking last minute but were made to feel very welcome and were even upgraded to the family room since it was available! The bungalow was lovely - super comfy bed, spacious and a great bathroom. We liked the little chairs outside the room to sit and enjoy the garden. Our host was so nice and spoke great English, which was super helpful. We loved the koi fish and the friendly little dog! All in all can’t fault it and would 100% recommend.

The owner was very friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the pets are so cute.

The location is a 15min walk from the main street. This wasn't an issue for us, but just something for people to take note of. The location was quiet even with a house being built next door.

A beautiful homestay with exceptional hosts. The property is a beautiful, shaded oasis, complete with koi ponds and ornate gardens. The rooms are modern, aesthetic, and well appointed. However, it is the hospitality of the hosts that will impress the most. They were very attentive and helpful, and will arrange any activities or transport you would like. The food was also delicious; we had fantastic BBQ, served at their equally serene, garden-themed restaurant, a 10 minute walk away.

If you finding quite stay in the middle of nature with perfect service and very friendly and helpful owners, this is right place for you. Property is located in quite place in hearth of Moc Chau in beautiful garden with lot of bonsais, flowers and ponds. Our room was clean with beautiful view to garden. In garden is restaurant and bar som you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner right in property. If you order something from restaurant food is cooked from fresh ingredients right from garden! As highlight is homemade yogurt 😍 You are able to rent motorbike right in property so you can explore beautiful tea plants or waterfalls near the city. For us it was one of the best stay in some property we ever visit and we want to come back again!

Amazing hosts, good coffee, quiet and peaceful - perfect for a holiday. The food is delicious too and the rooms have everything - ac and heating, hot showers, a kettle, a hairdryer and basically anything you might need.

Great garden very peaceful and super welcoming hosts

This could possibly be the best guesthouse on our travels around Vietnam. Our host Nhung organised travel between Mu Cang Chai to Moc Chau and then onto Ninh Bihn for our group effortlessly and efficiently . The rooms are set within a beautiful garden. Small ponds with carp surrounded by trees which are lit at night making garden come to life after sunset. Rooms are spacious and use high quality finishing which included a wooden bath which was a delight for some of our family. Large flatscreen TV allowed us to view some Netflix before sleeping. Beds very comfortable and king size. Our stay included breakfast which was amazing. Nhung’s family also own a a cafe which does meals a short distance away called Halian Garden Coffee BBQ. The BBQ and Hotpot are fantastic and if in Moc Chau make sure you visit! There is various activities and sights to explore nearby including the Glass Bridge at Moc Chau Island which also has a cave to visit. We will definitely be returning on our next Vietnam adventure. Everything! The garden is absolutely gorgeous and rooms very comfortable. Nhung and her mother made us feel like at home and were so kind and caring hosts! We ate at their restaurant twice and the atmosphere over there is also simply magical. The two cats (Miu and Bin) and dog Rosie also made the stay so much better. The AC in the room also had a heating function so even though it was cold outside the room was nice and cosy. We could rent motorbike directly from the homestay and they also helped us with our transport to Mai Chau. This was the best homestay we have stayed in whole Vietnam and I would happily come back anytime. Book it and you won’t regret!

The resort is really lovely. We absolutely loved how the host arranged the rooms to back onto the mountains and overlook a spacious garden full of flowers. The peaceful and nature-friendly atmosphere gave us some truly relaxing moments. The host is very hospitable and extremely friendly. They are always ready to help and make you feel at home. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back here to enjoy more memorable moments.

We spend 3 days at Gobies Garden and it was a wonderfull experience for us and our kid. Nhung was really nice and help us with all the visits, the rent of the motorbikes or the communication with the taxi limousine for the come back to Hanoï. We literally just had to enjoy the stay there. The room was really well decorated and equipped. The garden is full of flowers and has two ponds with fishes. Everything invites to meditation in Gobies Garden. The food was also very good and healthy. The situation of the homestay is central to Moc Chau main sites to visit and restaurants. We will come back for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about Gobie’s Garden. This was hands-down my favorite stay so far in Vietnam. Everything was perfect. The room was so beautiful with the big windows that overlooked the amazing garden. The room was very clean and and the bed was very comfortable and there was AC if needed. They also provided you with hair conditioner! This has been the only lodging during my stay that has done that, and it was much appreciated! The meals were delicious, and it was convenient being able to eat right there. The area was very peaceful, but like all areas in rural places, if you are sensitive to noise, you might want to bring earplugs for sleeping. But the absolute best thing about this place was the family who runs it. I can’t express enough my gratitude for all of their help and hospitality. They let me rent a great bike to go visit the plantations and had other suggestions on things to visit as well. They were always making sure that I had everything I needed. I had a very complicated transfer on the day I was leaving and Nhung arranged for a driver and made sure I got there OK. They were all so caring and made me feel right at home. It really was a pocket paradise and if you are in Moc Chau I highly recommend you stay here.
