Thisath Villa, Hikkaduwa

The caretaker, Chaminda, was the best. He was so attentive and helpful and really made a difference to our stay at the property. The beds were comfy, there was hot water and air conditioning. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. And it was only a 5 minute drive from the nearest beach.

Thisath Villa is located on the Baddegama-Hikkaduwa main road. We booked the Araliya Villa. It had a fully equipped pantry so we could prepare our own meals. The king size bed and queen size bed in the very comfortable room were perfect for our family. The modern bathroom, bedroom, pantry, living area and the entire villa were very clean and well maintained. The smart TV made our children have a lot of fun with Netflix and apps. The caretaker of the villa was very kind and hospitable. He prepared a delicious breakfast for us. Highly recommended.

Everything is perfect. But, why you have not displayed a name board? Better you should show-case the name of your nice place. Isn't it?

Service was great. Place is classy and stylish. Staff went above and beyond to provide rhe best service. Very friendly and supportive staff. Chaminda was a great help when we needed assistance. A special thank you goes to the charming cat Meenu who approaches people only if she knows that you like cats.

Living area can do with a bit more cooling.

Nothing.Everything was great.

Breakfast is superb, mixed with avocado and spinach, such a large portion. Nice coffee pick from the homeland.

I had a wonderful stay at Tisath Vila. The room setup was amazing—well-decorated, comfortable, and very clean. The villa is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared each morning. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is ideal—just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride to Hikkaduwa Beach, so you can enjoy the beach without all the noise. The entire property was tidy and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend Tisath Vila for anyone looking for a calm, clean, and cozy stay near the beach.

We felt like we were at home! We bought our own groceries and cooked our own meals exactly how we preferred. We cooked up some BBQ for dinner because the villa comes with a BBQ Machine as well! It’s almost the perfect getaway from home that still makes you feel so comfortable and cozy! Every room was equipped with ACs which was a massive advantage to us! Kitchen were fully equipped from saucepans to toasters! We had multiple choice of locations as to where do we eat… Definitely one of the best Homestay styles Villas I’ve been to.

We wished there was a pool that we could chill in and enjoy the evening. However the beautiful garden area compensated the pool.

When we first stumbled upon this villa, it seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The staff is very thoughtful and gracious. The communication was outstanding! The villa is extremely clean and just perfect! The kitchen and bedroom contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, and bathroom is excellent. Location is incredible. Thanks Thisath Villa for a wonderful stay! We will be back, Alma Castillo
