Un excellent accueil de Diana et Quentin! L’hébergement est top, ultra clean, très bien placé (à 2pas de la place centrale), les chambres sont lumineuses et très bien décoré, il y a même un petit patio ☺️ Quentin nous a donné plein d’infos sur les randonnées à faire autour ainsi que où manger, des supers conseils ! Merci Quentin et Diana pour l’accueil 🙏🏽

J’ai passé un excellent séjour (trop court) ! Tout a été parfait : l’accueil, les conseils et recommandations donnés par le couple concernant les activités, les cafés, restaurants etc. L’hostel est très propre, chambre agréable, douche chaude et une cuisine fonctionnelle. De plus, belle vue sur les montagnes, et une terrasse intérieure bien sympathique pour profiter de l’air pur de Mongui ! Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Diana et Quentin sont des hôtes extraordinaires ! L'auberge est idéalement située en plein coeur du centre historique, entre calme et bonne ambiance, très propre et magnifiquement décorée. Ils sont également à l'origine de Latitude Andina, et m'ont organisé une excursion dans le Paramó de Oceta ! C'était incroyable ! Notre guide locale nous a expliqué plein de choses sur la culture indigène Muisca et l'écosystème. On a également pu voir plein de Frailejones avec une superbe vue au sommet ! L'organisation au top et des prix très économiques ! Je ne peux que les recommander, merci encore pour ce séjour !

Super accueil de Quentin et Diana; plein de bons conseils. On se sent comme à la maison dans leur auberge. Tout est très propre. Quentin nous a organisé le trek du paramo de Oceta et cela restera un très beau souvenir !

La gentillesse et la disponibilité de Quentin (hôte) : ses conseils, la possibilité de passer par lui pour faire le tour du paramo avec une guide, sa connaissance du coin pour une expérience top,.... mais aussi des espaces spacieux et propres, le nécessaire de cuisine, etc ...

Il manque peut être un coin chill / canap pour se poser avec les autres voyageurs.

Tout est parfait ! Emplacement idéal pour découvrir Mongui et le paramo de Oceta. Petit hostel très propre, supers conseils de Quentin qui nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour :) allez y les yeux fermés, le rapport qualité / prix est imbattable!

Je recommande cette auberge incroyable ! Diana et Quentin qui tiennent l’auberge sont juste formidables, des amours 🌞 On ne peut être à Mongui sans loger chez eux! Ils aiment leur village , sont passionnés par les voyages et transmission de cultures. La guide conseillée par leur soin est juste exceptionnelle également. L’auberge a été refaite par leurs propres mains et est à leur image ; on s’y sent comme chez soi, tout est cosy, propre, les lits parfaitement faits, chaque détail compte pour nous. Merci encore à eux et aux moments partagés, à très vite 🌞

Excellent stay In Quentin and Diana's guesthouse in Mongui. Very good advices for visiting, el paramo de Oceta and more. Access to kitchen, outside patio, and eating place. Simply the best hotel low budget in Town Just go !

Diana and Quentin have created such a warm and welcoming space called Celavi 🏡💛🌱. The hostel truly feels like a home away from home. It has everything you could hope for if you're looking to enjoy your time in Monguí. It's always clean and cosy, and they go above and beyond to make sure you're making the most of your stay. Whether it’s introducing you to friendly locals, sharing a delicious meal, having a great chat, or playing a board game together, they’re always happy to connect. I’d come back to Celavi in a heartbeat, it’s now become my little home in Monguí ❤️ No surprise they have such amazing reviews!

Greetings to owner incredibly helpful and charming guy. Hostal is everything you could wish for! The village is incredibly authentic - you should plan a stop here. Also nice to integrate into your itinerary if you want to do El Cocuy. One Room Niño!

Quentin and Diana, who run the hostel, were so welcoming and helpful from the very first encounter. We stayed 5 days there and it was super nice and quiet, perfect to come down after a week in Bogotá:). Quentin connected us with his friend and local guide for an awesome hike to the páramo, gave us recommendations where to eat and checked with the people for us as we're vegan, also gave the right advises for our further travel. Would stay there anytime again:)

Staying at Celavi felt like coming back home after a long trip to reconnect with family you haven’t seen in a while. Diana and Quentin are amazing at making you feel welcome and relaxed. Their friendly, down-to-earth style instantly puts you at ease and makes you feel like you’re among friends. I’m happy to have stayed and seen the wonderful improvements they’ve made, transforming the hostel into a warm and welcoming place for everyone. I will definitely come back!

Wow! Diana and Quentin are amazing, friendly and generous hosts that have really created a special place tailored specifically for the backpacking community. Staying here really feels like just sharing a cosy home with them and the other guests! We had impromptu pancake parties, nightly beers in the courtyard and shared homemade cakes together - the vibe here is incredible, social but not a party hostal! Diana and Quentin are backpackers themselves and travelled all over Colombia searching for the best place to open their hostal so they understand everything travellers need and require, and cater to it all without fault. The building is newly renovated, everything works very well, water is always hot and the place is spotlessly clean in all hours of the day. The location is ideal, less than 5 minutes walk from the Mongui central square. If your visitng Mongui, just stay here, you really wont find better in terms of comfort and companionship - and the price is extremely affordable! We miss you guys! Thankyou for the most amazing Semana Santa!

Everything is perfect

The hostel is very sociable, I met a lot of very nice people, but still manages to be quiet for the most part. I was pretty sick for 3 days when I arrived and Diana and Quentin were very caring and helpful. The gave me some meds for my stomach and were always checking in on me.

Diana and Quentin are amazing, they offered a free coffee or tea every morning, will help you around with everything (hikes, food, souvenirs etc) and even gifted us some eggs and zucchini when we arrived bc it was too late to do groceries. The hostel is extremely clean and the bed we had super comfy, also the vibe was really chill but "hostely". Would definitely come again!

Had such a nice stay in this colonial house, super comfortable with good kitchen and hanging out spots. Quentin and Diana were great hosts with lots of information about what to do in the area. Met some other travelers to do the hike in Mongua. Glad I visited Mongui and stayed here!

Amazing hosts and perfect location. It is right by the central square, but very peaceful. Diana and Quentin were very sociable and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are enjoying your stay. The space is very clean and well-kept.

I was looking for a place to go hiking and work as a digital nomad, and this hostel was great for both. It's a quiet village and a quiet hostel, with a small kitchen and good wifi. The owner is kind and available, he offered us a cup of coffee every morning and lit a fire in the fireplace for us in our last night there.

Celaví hostel was absolutely perfect. It was clean, had a well equipped kitchen, and the room was comfy with everything you would need! We were also upgraded to a family room as we booked for three nights which was a lovely gesture! Quentin and Diana were wonderful hosts who went out of their way to help us arrange to do everything we wanted to in Monguí and give us all the recommendations we could ask for! This was without a doubt one of the best hostels we have stayed in.

I loved everything about this hostel: the location, the comfy beds, the facilities, everything was clean, but what made my stay so amazing was definitely the hosts, they really make you feel like you're at a friend's house, they give you great hiking recommendations and they do their best to create a nice atmosphere, when I stayed there they organised a waffles night ❤️ I'd definitely come back!

Celavi is a lovely and quiet hostel, right in the center of Mongui. Its hosts are super welcoming and will set you up with anything, from places to eat to a guide for the páramo. Great value for money and good vibes all around.

Quentin and Diana are such lovely persons: They make sure you feel welcome and at home during your stay and can provide you with information and hints for hiking and visiting Mongui. The hostel is placed in the village center, not far from the bus stop. Everything was very clean and there is a well equipped kitchen with an incredible view on the mountains. The village is very beautiful and the surrounding nature magnificent! I hope I'll come back one day, merci beaucoup :)

Everything was perfect, I'm not exaggerating :) I texted them before I even arrived in Monguí since I didn't really knew how to get to Monguí from Bogotá. They answered me straight away and the instructions were perfect, everything went smooth. Once we arrived in Monguí, it's was literally a 1minute walk from where the bus stops and we were welcomed at the door and got a hostel tour. The hostel itself is beautiful, everything is really new, the living room / lobby is nice with a big table and beanbags and games, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, the fridge is new and clean (and I saw so many disgusting fridges in other hostels), the outside area is nice (spent there a lot of time) and the best is the room with a new bathroom, the bed has a new matres and I slept sooooo good. All in all literally the best stay I've ever had in Colombia 🙏 Furthermore I had a lot of questions about how to do the hikes (went to the Laguna as well) and also some smaller day hikes. They helped me straight away with every question I had, and I had a lot of questions. It was just a home far away from home and it felt like having a family. I'll be back for sure and I can recommend everybody to go to this hostel, I promise you won't regret

I'm far from being the only one who decided to stay longer in Mongui... and you'll understand why, once having spent time at Diana and Quentin's pretty hostel. They treat you as a longtime friend, you immediately feel comfortable there and the place is very nice. I had to study and could do it in perfect conditions, but also spend some good time with everybody, drinking a yummy "canelazo" and having diner together. They really want you to have a great stay, and you can totally rely on their knowledge to discover the place. Thanks again, and see you soon somewhere between Medellín and Rennes ;)

Easily one of the best we’ve stayed in in SA. Lovely, thoughtful and kind staff. Diana and Quentin were so patient with us when our plans changed and advised us on how to navigate the area! A fireplace!!! nice communal areas, good location, clean rooms - we had a balcony too!! Definitely stay here again if we come back! we got to go paragliding because of Quentin! if you’re down for that make sure to ask!

Quentin and Diana provides more than a regular hostel. A home away from home, they will provide exceptional attention. The hostel is really comfortable and well located. Unfortunately, I was sick during my stay so i couldn't enjoy the activities of Mongui. However, they made some tea for me, took really good care of me ! We had a lovely night all together socialising and drinking (with moderation). See you soon I hope ! Josh&Jay

Quentin and Danielle are so wonderful! Felt like staying with old friends, welcoming and warm! They're extremely helpful, from giving advice and recommendations about hikes and activities to do in the area, to helping with onward travel planning and visa extension and navigating Colombian bureaucracy! The hostel is very quaint and kept impeccably clean. And great location. Beds were so comfortable and the duvet was deliciously warm. Recommend to everyone I meet.

Fantastic place, right by the city centre of the cutest village with lots of activities and sights to see. The hosts are the most welcoming, lovely and kindest people, thank you so much for making our stay so memorable - we ended up staying double the time originally planned! I would 100% recommend !

Diana and Quintin are caring and delightful people who make so much effort to make us feel comfortable, they always were on hand to help when we needed something, the beds are so comfortable and they keep the place very clean. We had a fun Spanish lesson with Diana and loved the tea she made every day. They can organise your tour to the paramo if you want to go there too.

I felt as if I stayed at home with some friends. All is clean and beautiful, you can feel the hospitality everywhere. the location is amazing because is pretty close to the Central Park.

I have never left a review in my life, but this hostel is simply one of the best. Diana helped me out with everything possible. For example showing me around the town to making me tea when I arrived. she even took the time to help me out with me spanish giving me a lesson! The owners are full of passion and will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. If you come to this town and don’t say at Celavi you are missing out!

Monguí is a beautiful quiet and friendly village wich has a lot to offer for the nature lovers. Celaví is a new and cosy place to stay in Monguí, they have comfy and spacious rooms. (Good mattresses and blankets) Bathrooms and toilets were really clean too. Nice courtyard to have a few drinks after a long day of hiking. Diana and Quentin are very friendly hosts, they will help you to make the best out of your stay. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The staff people is very nice, they where very kind and helpful, the place was really charming, and it had the space for every need you have, the rooms have very comfortable beds, so you can sleep warm and fresh even if the clima of the town is cold. Its also very near to the comercial zone.
