Central location, friendly staff , nice big pool with nice bar and restaurant. Staying here you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend Vanessa Hotel.

Rooms could be cleaned and changed more frequently than currently.

The hotel was very clean and in a perfect location. The staff was all very friendly and helpful we asked to change room from the top floor to lower and it was no trouble.

The bed was a little uncomfy but had worse.

Centrally located making it easy to reach all restaurants bars and shops on the strip, but also close enough to walk to the old road and the beach. The pool is a nice pool with graduated entrance which is useful for children or those with minor mobility issues. The rooms are excellent, spacious with plenty of utensils etc, safe and air con and the shower is big by most greek standards.

The only thing I didn't like was having a room at the back facing the car park, not in itself an issue but it was too hot to use in the afternoon/evening which is when I would be most likely to use it.

Liked the location and the bar/restaurant. Rooms where larger than we expected. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Pool area needs updating, but saying that we spent most of our days using other hotels pools which is why we love Greece.

Fantastyczna lokalizacja przy głównej ulicy w Kalamaki. Dużo sklepów, restauracji, blisko do plaży. W hotelu wygodne łóżka, dobrze wyposażony aneks kuchenny, super basen. Dla dzieci brodzik o głębokości 45cm ze zjeżdżalnią. Polecam ten hotel z całego serca.

The location of the hotel is great—close to the beach with many shops and restaurants nearby. It's also in a great position to visit other places on the island. The hotel is very nice, and the room was a good size for a family of three (two adults and one toddler). The room was spotless, and the staff was nice and friendly and it was very quiet place, so we managed to get a good rest.

The kitchen could be a bit better equipped. There is no dish soap or sponge, and the kettle is a serious hazard—the handle gets extremely hot when the water boils, and I actually burned myself the first time I used it.

El personal muy bien , sobre todo el camarero super simpático y amable . La piscina genial y la habitación muy bien también . Camas cómodas, balconcito , buena ducha ( aunque el agua es salada) y un detalle que me gustó mucho es que tienes una sombrilla para poder llevártela a la playa . Se tarda unos veinte minutos andando . La calle del hotel está llena de restaurantes . También se aparca fácil y eso que era finales de agosto .

The bed was very hard but that could just be my preference and it could get noisy at night you could here upstairs scraping chairs on the floor when moved. A mattress topper and pads on the bottom of furniture would solve both of these.

Travelled family of 4 with teenagers. Large rooms, comfy bed, good shower, lovely pool with no fighting over sunbeds even in peak August season and brilliant central location. Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you.

Hotel semplice, con camere ampie, ben attrezzate, letti comodi, angolo cottura sufficente per un soggiorno pratico e senza pretese. Posizionato a Kalamaki punto strategico per muoversi sull'isola.Letti comodi. Cambio asciugamani ogni due giorni, ma passavano tutti i giorni per rifornire di carta igienica e prendere la spazzatura. Cambio lenzuola ogni 4 giorni. Stanze pulite. Balcone ampio e con pratici fili per stendere i panni. Piscina molto bella, mai affollata, pulita e con lettini a disposizione gratuitamente. Per un due stelle direi ottimo. C'è un bar in piscina dove abbiamo fatto colazione una mattina, un po' troppo caro per quello che abbiamo preso.Comunque comodo. Difronte all' Hotel un comodissiimo minimarket. Sempre difronte all' hotel la stradina che porta al mare dopo una passeggiata di 10 minuti. Mare e spiaggia molto belli.

Non ho nulla di particolare da sottolineare. Se posso dare un consiglio sarebbe apprezzata una lavatrice per il bucato.

Struttura abbastanza accogliente, personale disponibile, barista simpatico. Posizione ottima per il mare se si vuole andare alla spiaggia di Kalamaki (consiglio di andarci). Posizione ottima per Kalamaki in generale.

Pulizia non era eccellente. Abbiamo trovato due zanzare schiacciate sulla porta del bagno. Quando dicono di ritirare la spazzatura ogni giorno e cambio di asciugamani ogni due, non é sempre rispettato. Inoltre, non abbiamo trovato le presine per le pentole.

Il personale si distingue per un'accoglienza autentica, gentile e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza, facendo sentire l'ospite subito a casa. L'atmosfera è davvero piacevole e la disponibilità massima. La posizione è ottima per raggiungere le spiagge più belle dell'isola, a patto di avere a disposizione un mezzo di trasporto, e la spiaggia di Kalamaki è comodissima e molto vicina. Inoltre, lungo la strada si trovano facilmente tutti i servizi necessari.

Only one air con so couldn't close the door to the bedroom in the apartment else the kids got too hot.

We stayed at Caretta Beach Resort & WaterPark for 3 nights and expected it to be aimed mainly at children, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. My husband and I had a fantastic time, and our boys, aged 13 and 10, absolutely loved it. The evening bouncy castle area was excellent value at just €10 for unlimited access. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and the bar, restaurant staff and lifeguards all helped make our stay a pleasure. The resort was spotlessly clean, with plenty of outdoor toilets, lots of sunbeds and no need to queue. The snack shacks serving burgers, chips, hot dogs, sandwiches and ice creams were great, and the on-site shops had everything you could need, including familiar UK brands. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the restaurant and shops Strip, and reception will happily arrange taxis if needed. We would definitely recommend Caretta Beach Resort & WaterPark and wouldn’t hesitate to return. It really does have something for everyone.

A szàllàs a központban helyezkedett el,kedves volt a szemèlyzet. Az ètelek az ètteremèben nagyon finomak voltak ès nem dràgàk. Nem kèrtünk reggelit,de ètlapról reggel lehetett vàlasztani kb gyerekeknek 4 Eur, feknőtteknek 8-10 Eur- èrt. A szàllàs medencèje is jó volt, gyerekeknek volt egy csúszda is. Àr èrtèk arànyban nagyon elègedettek voltunk.

La buona posizione in cui si trova. Gustavo al bar di sotto, molto gentile, disponibile e sempre accogliente.

Da rivedere un po la pulizia delle camere, che tutto sommato, dopo alcuni “richiami” siamo andati bene. Complessivamente è stato un buon soggiorno.

Odlična lokacija v centru Kalamakija, kjer je veliko trgovin, restavracij in ima odlično izhodišče za raziskovanje otoka. Apartmaji so dovolj veliki in primerni za družine. Odlična vrednost za vaš denar.

Bivali smo v pritličju in nad nami so bili zelo glasni sosedje kateri so premikali pohištvo, ropotali, razgrajali, vpili...cele noči in smo zaradi njih slabo spali. Predlagam strožji nadzor osebja in poudarek, da hotel ni namenjen zabavam.

E' una struttura tranquilla, pulita, adatta se occorre un punto di appoggio per dormire. Sono stanze belle ampie e pulite, un po' retrò ma perfettamente adatte all'utilizzo che ne abbiamo fatto e al costo della stanza che è stato assolutamente abbordabile.

Love the bar area ,but not as good as on previous visits seems to have lost its vibe since kaleigh the bar girl has finished ,she was like a ray of sunshine always happy and chatty she is a big big loss .rooms are good size and have everything you need .

Non so da dove escano tutte le recensioni positive che si leggono su questa struttura, considerando che la nostra esperienza è stata pessima e ci siamo trovati veramente malissimo. La camera era ben lontana dal massimo della pulizia, anzi, era decisamente sporca. C'era polvere ovunque: sotto il letto cumuli di sporco accumulato, e persino i letti non davano alcuna sensazione di igiene. Il bagno era in condizioni indescrivibili: sporchissimo e del tutto disfunzionale. Ogni volta che facevamo una doccia, il bagno si allagava completamente a causa di un tappeto totalmente inutile e una tenda che si apriva. Come se non bastasse, non c'era nemmeno una scopa o un mocio per terra per dare una passata e tirare via l'acqua. O quanto meno una scopa, che ci sarebbe tornato utilissima nel momento in cui abbiamo trovato uno scarafaggio in camera

The biggest problem we had with the hotel was that the pool was dirty! The rooms were not well cleaned either but that we did by our selves. We talked to the staff everyday about the lack of cleaning of the pool and then they put on some filter and it got a little bit better but when we didn’t ask for it nothing happened. The baby pool was the worst!

The place is nice, in a very good location, walking distance to restaurants, bars, a minimarket and few hundred meters from the beach.

The design of the room, with a separation between living room and bedroom, blocks light and air circulation from the bedroom to the two beds in the sitting room. Especially with strong summer heat, it means the air conditioning would not spread to the sitting room, unless the door is kept open. The appliances and the toilet flush are also very noisy.

Posizione ottima proprio sulla strada principale di Kalamaki, a fianco a tutti i ristoranti e locali.

Stanza grande ma da rinnovare, il bagno era al limite, con la tendina nella doccia. Letti non molto comodi. Colazione prevista solo continentale quindi niente brioches, ma fortunatamente c'era un'ottima bakery di fronte all'hotel.

Belle camere tenute bene e pulite. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile.

Location of hotel isn't great. I hadn't been to Kalamaki for 10 years and i was disappointed at its appearance, loud music from bars, the hotel is right on a busy road , the pool area isn't relaxing due to road noise, etc I wouldn't stay in that part of Kalamaki again but, though I was disappointed , the hotel is good value for money

The rooms were spacious and clean, air con was included in the price and the shower was hot and powerful. Location was great. Large fridge with freezer. Kitchen area was very small but I still managed to prepare breakfast and make sandwiches easily.

Não tem estacionamento, as vagas são na rua e vc tem que procurar. Embora tenha cozinha, não tem panelas suficientes e nem uma esponja e sabão pra lavar a louça. Nem pano de prato. Eles tem cofre mas são eles mesmos que dão a senha.

The location was excellent if you don’t have a vehicle as it’s in the middle of the Main Street within the bar and restaurant area with a Supermarket directly opposite. The maid service is good and regular.

We had room 21 which initially was a great spot, furthest forward and overlooking the pool. However even with the balcony door closed you can hear loud people late at night, though the bars do have to turn the noise down after 12pm The room was a little tired and could do with some money spending on them, also some of the bed pillows, blanket and wardrobes had a fusty smell to them.

The staff were delightful. Basic but clean, good location. Lots of parking. Good water pressure in the shower. Cheap and cheerful.

We had to ask for a few things that were missing but all requests were usually met with a smile. Weird tasting kettle.

The location of the hotel was fabulous , right smack bang in the middle of the main strip, with all the bars and restaurants on your doorstep. It was a slight walk to the beach, cutting through fields and off roads to reach it, however it didn't bother us too much. The pool was great, sufficient size with a slide, and there were always plenty of Sun beds readily available without any towel wars. Costas, the barman was fantastic. Great with the children very accommodating , always happy and smiling to welcome you and would serve drinks, chat and make you feel very at home. The best bit by far, were the games on the bar and that the pool table in the bar area was free to use, we're so used to going to hotels, that charge to use the poor table and it soon adds up with 2kids. So this free pool table was fantastic for us, great for those needed breaks from the sun.

On arriving at the hotel, we waited in the reception area for about 15 minutes, before somebody finally arrived at greet us. The gentleman wasn't particularly warm. He directed us to our room, which was up two fights of stairs. I am a mum with my two young children, and was not offered any assistance with the three suitcases and hand luggage up the stairs, which I will admit was a bit disappointing, and in my opinion quite rude. A few times through the course of our stay, we would meet the cleaners on the corridors, yet they never spoke to us, unless we spoke up first. Just seems a little sad, that the staff could not be a little warmer and more welcoming, as the accommodation has a lot to offer. Facilities in the apartments in the way of self catering were quite limited.There was a two burn hob, and a microwave with a kettle. However, there was only one small frying Pan, and a saucepan available. No toaster, tin opener or other basic commodities. I feel that due to the location of the accommodation , most people probably eat out and don't actually self cater while staying at this accommodation. That being said the size of the apartment was great and a lovely big balcony to enjoy breakfast on outside.

È la seconda volta che soggiorno qui. Personale indisponente. Nessuna risposta alle email. Fatiscente. La prima volta ho pensato che tutto questo fosse perché ormai era fine stagione. Ma questa volta non può essere una scusa. Nessun lavoro di sistemazione è stato fatto nel corso dell’inverno.
