idriss tamraght surf hostel

La cuisine est bien équipée donc on a pas cuisiné et prépare nos repas , y avait trois petites toilettes y compris les douches .heureusement on était les seuls pendant notre séjour donc c était bien

En fait la chambre était trop petite pour ce qui était mentionné 13 m , l emplacement n a rien à voir avec Taghazout genre on a galéré pour trouver où manger parce que soit c était pas bon soit trop cher et pas beaucoup de choix , l accès a la plage était trop loin on était obligé d’aller en voiture .

El personal era muy amable, y además daban clases de surf, y prestaban el materia. El desayuno estaba muy rico y las habitaciones estaban limpias,

Room was beautiful and clean, roof terrace was colourful and comfortable. Breakfast was good, everyone likes the chutney jam here I think! Great surf school facilities.

The property was very clean, and the manager was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available. The location is also great, with the beach just a short walk away.

The only issue was that the address on Booking mentions Taghazout Center, while the property is actually located in Tamraght. Tamraght is a lovely area, but it’s good to know in advance that you’ll be staying there rather than in Taghazout itself.

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt! Die Kommunikation war klasse. Die Dachterrasse ist das absolute Highlight der Unterkunft. Der Host ist sehr zuvorkommend und das Berberomelette war super lecker!

De ligging was super. Niet ver van Taghazout maar toch rustig en veel plekjes om te eten en te surfen. We hebben genoten van veel koffie plekjes. De gastheer was heel behulpzaam op alle vlakken. Ook voor surflessen was hij heel geduldig (het was onze eerste keer). We raden dit hostel zeker aan iedereen aan.

Je kan alles wel goed horen. Maar niks dat wat oordoppen niet kan verhelpen.

Dobra lokalizacja, śniadania okej i cena.

Bardzo głośno w nocy, pokoje nie są szczelne, umywalki na korytarzach, co sprawiło, ze pobyt nie był dla nas komfortowy. Zdjęcia na booking nie odzwierciedlają rzeczywistości

Slaba čistoča, prevlek za posteljnino sploh nisem dobil. Brisačo sem dobil umazano (sem jo hotel zamenjati pa je gostotelj rekel da so to stari mateži in da jih ne more odstraniti. Soba nima prave stene (bambusove palice + zavesa) in se posledično sliši prav vse in svetloba prehaja iz drugih prostorov. Udobnost spanja je katastrofalna.

Todo un desastre , desde que llegamos hasta que salimos, nos recibió una chica medio dormida que no tenía constancia de la reserva llamo por teléfono y se la confirmaron, después estuvo buscando una habitación doble y no había ninguna disponible hasta que abrió una donde había efectos personales de otra persona y nos quería dar esa habitación donde estaba otra persona y viendo la situación tuvimos que obstar por no alojarnos y buscar otro alojamiento

The staff were really nice, kind and friendly. Said, saida and norte were always there to help. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good. They rent also boards and give classes to surf.

I thought was in Taghazoud when i booked, but it is in Tamragh

We had a twin room, which was quite spacious and comfortable. Apart from the noise, the place is very clean, the breakfast was simple but delicious and the staff extremely lovely and helpful! They even helped us with a broken suitcase :)

One of the walls in our room (that separated it from the hallway) was made out of bamboo sticks, and the windows connect directly to the rooftop, so we could hear every single noise outside, and sometimes even smell cigarettes when there was someone smoking upstairs.

Really nice staff and great atmosphere! Felt very welcome. The house, the rooms and bathrooms are clean too. The breakfast is amazing and overall really good value for the money :) 7 minutes walk from the beach.

⚠️ NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FEMALE GUESTS ⚠️ I had a very uncomfortable experience staying at this hostel. The window in my room was facing the hostels stairs and couldn’t be properly closed, which meant anyone walking by could see directly into the room while I was sleeping. This felt like a lack of privacy. I reported it to one of the volunteers, but nothing was done. In the end, I had to improvise by tying the window shut with a string from the outside,though realistically, anyone could still open it. There were also several issues with the facilities. The bathroom downstairs would get clogged with water after showering. On my first night, the toilet on my floor wasn’t flushing, and the downstairs toilet didn’t even have toilet paper available. ‼️What made the experience worse was the behavior of one of the volunteers. He was repeatedly and inappropriately hitting on female guests and trying to sleep with them in a way that felt intrusive and uncomfortable. Several girls, including myself, felt uneasy because of this.‼️ Overall, the lack of basic maintenance, privacy, and respectful behavior from the volunteer made this stay quite unpleasant. I end up leaving earlier even though I paid.

Could hear everything upstairs or downstairs like it was next to your room, room had hair and was dirty (floors, counter tops), kitchen downstairs looked dirty, upstairs sink looked dirty, overall gave Morocco a very… authentic feeling. Amazing Hostel! Very comfy beds and amazing stuff. They are so kind and always there if you need something. Breakfast is one of the best around, with bread, amlou and eggs. Easy to meet new people because of the shared breakfast and shared dinners. Recommend to go there!

The hostel is amazing! It’s incredibly clean and the location is perfect—close to everything you need in Tamraght. The atmosphere is very welcoming, but what truly makes this place special is the staff. Saida, Said, and Nour Eddine are super nice, friendly, and they make you feel right at home. Everything was perfect!

Honestly, nothing. Everything exceeded my expectations.

L’hostel est très chaleureux et bien équipé. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le dîner partagé ensemble le soir, les parties de Uno et le petit déjeuner copieux. Les hôtes hyper accueillants, font toujours attention à ce qu’on s’y sente bien et surtout rendent l’endroit très chaleureux en proposant des moments conviviaux !

Hard to think what I liked

The double room we had was very noisy, the window was broken and not closing properly. There was noise until 1:30 am from other guests, as well as the dogs every now and then. The sink is in the middle of the stairs, uncomfortable. The staff didnt allow us to cancel the following nights even with saying that we couldnt sleep One day they forgot to prepare the breakfast!

Die Bilder der Unterkunft sind weder auf Booking noch auf Hostelworld entsprechend der wirklichen Situation im Hostel. Die Zimmer sehen sehr anders aus, die Badezimmer sind Toiletten auf dem Gang mit Duschköpfen an die Spülkästen angeschlossen (Bodenfläche insgesamt circa 1,5m2 mit Toilette). Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr ungepflegt und nicht besonders sauber. Die Lage ist weit weg vom Strand und in einer unangenehmen Umgebung. Das Personal ist nicht besonders interessiert an Hilfsbereitschaft oder freundlich. Wir haben 2 Nächte gebucht, aber haben nach kurzem Überlegen uns entschlossen keine einzige zu bleiben, sondern spontan woanders unterzukommen.

I love the warm atmosphere Bouchra has created in the hostel. The place was safe and welcoming. My room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The rooftop area was a lovely area to socialise and meet new people. Would recommend for any solo travellers.

Die Matratze war sehr weich. Riad-typisch war es in der gesamten Unterkunft sehr hellhörig, was man berücksichtigen muss.

This is our second time staying and we absolutely loved it! Great staff, breakfast, clean room and shower area. The location is super quiet, so comfortable and very family oriented! Very short walk from great restaurants, shops and the beach area. We will def stay again when back in Morocco 🇲🇦 Thank you again Said and Saida 🙏💗

The place is very close to all beaches, Taghazout and Agadir. Also you have shops and restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop and the view. The staff is very friendly and helps you with anything. Thanks for the stay!

Me an my friends stayed at this hostel for a week, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere is super friendly, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the common areas are perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The location is great, with easy access to public transport and lots of cool places to explore nearby. The hostel also organizes nice events like a trip to paradise valley or to the dunes, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a cozy, social, and well-maintained place to stay, this is the perfect choice.

I booked this hostel with a friend and we didn't expect to find a cozy, beautifully designed and clean hostel. The staff is super friendly, even though they are learning english, they really care to understand you and help you if you have any problems or need something. Very heartwarming people who really care for their guests :) This place feels so cozy and is really nicely decorated, it jusr feels like everything on the walls has a story to tell. There's an rooftop terrace where you can relax or meet new interesting people to hang out with. We, for our part did and it made this vacation to an unforgettable experience! If you have any questions about tagazhout, Bushra (the hostel owner) will know something about it. She grew up here and really knows the best spots and places you wouldn't usually see as a tourist. We booked a sandboarding trip with her and other guests, not only really fun but really beautiful along the coastline. She showed us beautiful spots and overall it was a really nice trip. She also offers Surf lessons, trips to paradise valley, cooking courses etc. The location of the hostel is only a few minutes away from the beach, near a supermarket and you can get everything you need just in 5 minutes walking distance. Tagazhout is also only 10 minutes by car or scooter and theres always a taxi there (just negotiate the price and dont pay full price) or take the bus for 7 dirham (70 Cent). She also has a really nice dog infront of the house, always ready to be snuggled with and her cat is really cute too :) Thank you Bushra for an unforgettable experience and I already look forward to the next trip there.

The whole experience staying at Idriss Surfhostel was amazing!! I met some lovely people who are now friends for life. Bouchra was an excellent host! She went out of her way to make sure my stay here was happy and pleasant. The breakfast in the morning was excellent!! I really had the best time and I would recommend anyone to come to Idriss Surfhosel. All the staff working at Idriss were also very friendly and helpful. We were all like family ❤️.

Everything. Bouchra is a literal angel sent from above and makes the most delicious breakfast every morning. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and offers tours, rentals, laundry and everything you might need. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

Bouchra made me feel right at home in her lovely, laid-back hostel!! There are bikes on the property available for rental which was very nice. I also followed a surf lesson and could use a surfboard and wetsuit from the hostel. I loved the terrace, where you also have your (delicious!!) breakfast together with the other guests. A very nice way of interacting with the other people who are staying and hearing their tips and tricks. I will defintely be back! 😀
