A very strategically located place, especially if you’re doing a road trip around Ireland. It’s in a very peaceful village, with a pub right across the road where the staff are incredibly friendly. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s cozy, surrounded by beautiful nature, and there’s also Tyson, the sweetest and funniest little dog—completely harmless! He’s the best… after Darlena, the owner! She brought us breakfast every morning and was always so attentive and caring. She is incredibly kind and welcoming. Without a doubt, this was the best place I could have stayed. I would recommend it 100%!

One of the few places in Ireland/Scotland that has washer and dryer. The place is large and VERY comfortably accommodates a family of 4. They do have a dog that does not go to the visitor house, however it is super friendly and my kids loved playing with him in the big yard. I highly recommend

The host was very welcoming, we arrived late to the premises as we had missed our bus,she was very understanding. We had a party to attend the next day she assisted us in getting the right bus to the location. We found all the necessary breakfast items, cereal,scones,milk, coffe and tea. She came on a saturday with pastrys and snacks which the kids enjoyed. It was a lovely experience. Thank you

A super cozy apartment with everything you could possibly wish for! Our children absolutely loved sleeping in front of the big TV with the warm and cozy fireplace 🔥. The homemade scones were delicious and enjoyed by all of us. The beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you, Darlena!

James and Darlena's apartment was lovely, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The apartment was spotless, the bed was comfy and I received a warm welcome from James the host on arrival. I'd definitely stay here again!

Perfect place on our way back to Dublin. Darlena gave us all the information to check in easily, and upon our arrival, we were greeted by their friendly dog, super adorable. The place was clean, modern, with all the features. We enjoyed the scones for breakfast! Absolutely recommeded!

Everything was excellent. The host was extremely generous and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to ensure a pleasant, welcoming stay. The facilities were spotless, comfortable, attractive and spacious. The breakfast was lovely, and the scones were an enjoyable treat. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. If we did come back to Ireland this would be a must return destination. The pub over the road was also marvellous.

Beautiful accommodation, great breakfast and the hosts were absolutely amazing. We had a hire car issue which could have left us stranded but Darlena and her husband pretty much rescued us. Made sure we got the right transport, gave us a lift to a local train station, advised on/dug out all the best options for our onward journey. They are such nice people and we can't thank them enough. We had a brilliant trip to Ireland thanks in no small part to them.

We had a fantastic stay in a spotless, nice and comfy BnB on our way to Clonmacnoise. Darlene, our host was very kind and helpful. We had a very nice continental breakfast with great coffee to kick off a perfect day.

Very nice apartment, clean and comfy, exactly as on pictures. Friendly and thoughtful host, she provided us with yummie breakfast (love scones...) and was very considerate concerning allergies and vegetarian choices. We prepared breakfast ourselves in our kitchen, had everything we needed for that and more, that worked perfectly for us! Also she was very quick to answer any questions that came up when we texted her. Very comfy bed too!

If we had to name something that could be improved, it would be: Cooking equipment was okay and in good shape, we would have liked a couple of more items though, as a cutting board or kitchen knife. I guess not many people are actually cooking in their holidays ;)

Lovely new appartement. Everything in there was chosen with care. Spotless clean and whatever is needed for a stay there is available. The host is very friendly and so is the family dog :-) We had a really good stay over there and would book it again.

I stayed here with group friends from arriving to leavin owner was exceptional fantastic lady😊 unfortunately we were only staying 1 nite as we were goin out dancing to the well in moate a d heading shearwater following nite .we had everything we needed in apartment beautiful and It was immaculately clean . .😊

Warm welcome, immaculately clean and tidy, cosy and warm.

Darlena is a very welcoming hostess. She even provided glutenfree bread and cookies for our daugther and gave us good directions for a simple dinner where we could also find a glutenfree meal. The B&B has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. It’s about an hour drive from Dublin airport in the directions of Galway. We would definitively come back!

This place was more then perfect :) we loved it from the moment we entered it. It was a treasure at this small town.

Everything! The apartment is new and very clean. It has everything you need to spend a few days (kitchen, bathroom, etc.). Both the bed and the sofa bed are comfortable. It is easy to get to the house, as well as to access the apartment (opening the portal, parking, access to the key, ...). Breakfast is plentiful and varied (there is coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, jam... and also fruit, juice and yoghurt for the girls). The landlady is lovely. He lent us access (we arrived late) and everything we needed, and he also informed us of a music festival that was in town that day. Our experience was very good.

It was like a 5 star hotel, so clean and luxurious and the pastries\breakfast additional touch puts it in a league above most.

Darlena was absolutely wonderful! She’s very friendly, warm and caring. The property itself was clean, comfortable and very homey. A full kitchen and washer and dryer makes it a home away from home. We will certainly return someday!

Great place to stay if you are crossing Ireland from East to West or opposite direction. We have been taken care by the host and her family. Owners are very helpful and you will find everything family with kids needs at the apartment and surroundings.

Very modern and clean appartment, comfortable beds. Very hearty hosts, great welcome. My daughter loved Tyson, the labbrador, that barks loudly but is an extremely friendly dog. Big TV, nice electric fireplace, all kitchen appliances available. We needed to wash and got washing powder from Darlena.

All was great, absolutely no complaints. One word of advice: we stayed only one night and amount of kitchen appliances was sufficient. For several days more spoons, knives etc. would be better (only 4 are present of each kind).

This apartment was exceptional so clean modern comfortable and relaxing. The host was so warm and welcoming. The added touches of hot drinks scones biscuits was so lovely. The decor is beautiful. A super shower and big thick fluffy towels were greatly appreciated. We loved Tyson the dog. We will definitely return The property is in a great location and access to motorways very easy. A shop pub and off licence just right across the road and the property is safe and secure with electric gates.

This place is a real gem! So comfortable and cosy and felt so at home and relaxed here. Darlena is a super host and made us feel so welcome. The apartment is absolutely spotless and has lots of lovely little details like shower gel, shampoo, towels, and a hairdryer. There's also individual teas, coffee and jams for the continental breakfast. Really secure area and a lovely energy around the place. Highly recommended, and looking forward to staying again soon! 😊

It was explained to us how to get in and pick up the keys, but we arrived with snow and Ms. Darlene warmly welcomed us in person, we appreciated it very much. The bnb apartment is on the left next to the main house, it is new, quiet, very cozy, perfectly clean and functional, one bedroom and another sofa bed right in front of the lit fireplace. First-rate towels. We had bought something to eat and were able to prepare dinner upon arrival. In the morning we prepared breakfast - Darlene provided us with pastries, everything is available for a continental breakfast from the bakery.Challenging weather but nice people. We'll be back

There was nothing we didn't like in this apartment.

I'd highly recommend this place! When we first arrived, there were fresh cakes from the bakery left out for us and ginger bread men for the kids. The place has everything you need and between the big goof of a dog and warm inviting family the place has a lovely atmosphere. Everything was new and of high quality, food was plentiful and beds extremely comfy!! I can't stress that enough!hahah

Honestly the place is brand new, there's nothing not to like. Great little spot with everything you need not far..
