Purtroppo il servizio è stato tremendo.... tra le peggiori esperienze mai vissute. Peccato per la gestione della struttura che altrimenti meriterebbe ma quello che abbiamo vissuto è inaccettabile mi dispiace.

Stunning location with the most incredible view I've ever seen from a room, facing right at Mount Agung. The room was spacious and so clean, and so was the bathroom. Our shower had great pressure and was lovely and warm. Staff are so friendly and bring you breakfast on your terrace every morning. The breakfast had some great options and everything we had was delicious.

Very very minor, but some noises from the farm opposite might wake you early so bring earplugs.

The staff were great helping with taxis and medical requirements. Ask staff in advance of the 24 hour medical assistance because scary when you wake in middle of night and can't get taxi as Sideman is remote. The medical company they recommend are fantastic BTW. Nice short walking distance to lots of nice restaurants. Nice view of Mt Arung.

Fascinating watching the farmers on rice fields with wire contraptions to scare the birds. The banging of the metal though could be a bit annoying if there for a very long time. I wouldn't let it put you off staying.though

⭐ Un séjour magnifique au cœur de Sidemen ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Babacan Accommodations. L’emplacement est excellent, face aux rizières, avec une vue absolument incroyable sur le mont Agung. Le cadre est paisible et Sidemen a vraiment conservé son côté authentique. (Petites constructions récentes en cours qui gâchent un peu le paysage). La personne qui s’occupe du logement est adorable, disponible et très serviable. Je recommande d’ailleurs de passer directement par eux pour organiser les transferts ou la location de scooters : c’est simple et pratique. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Dans le logement, une carafe d’eau est à disposition, ainsi que savon, gel douche, shampoing et serviettes. Il y a également des boissons et des snacks, mais attention, ceux-ci sont payants. Quelques bonnes adresses accessibles facilement depuis le logement : * Warung Baji et Warung Joni, à deux pas sur la droite : nous recommandons vraiment ! * Nana’s Pool & Bar : très sympa pour manger à petit prix avec la possibilité de profiter de la piscine. * Niat Nails, à environ 5 minutes à pied, pour une manucure à tout petit prix. * Laksmi silver class : parlent français. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter, notamment pour son emplacement, sa vue exceptionnelle et la gentillesse de l’accueil. 🌾⛰️

Nous avons passé un super séjour ! L'hébergement est propre et spacieux, la terrasse avec la vue sur le mont Agung est magnifique L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Sidemen et sa région.

At night Pathway from road to the villas are unlit/partially lit.There is serious risk of falling into the field/fence 4-5 feet deep.The staff does not take care to turn on exterior lights of villas and guests moving around faces serious life safety problems. The signage of the property is tiny and drivers have to search around. The breakfast is poor quality and too little.They do not have a clean retail kitchen on the facility.The water jug provided is small and water insufficient.

Prachtige ligging, met vele restaurants om de hoek. Mooi uitzicht op de rijstvelden. Helaas ook een bouwwerk in de achtertuin wat uitzicht verpest en lawaai geeft.

Ontbijt zou voortreffelijk zijn maar was wel heel basic. Weinig fruit, 1 pancake, koffie. Balinees ontbijt was wel erg lekker. Harde matrassen.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful - they organised a taxi for us and also did 11kg of our laundry in 24 hours which was much appreciated! The accommodation is in a beautiful green setting. The room was spacious with a lovely terrace.

One small thing is that there is building work going on next door which obstructs the view slightly. However there wasn’t too much noise so didn’t disturb us too much

I loved the location in the Sidemen area and the accommodation. The breakfasts we had each morning were especially delicious.

Le logement est très propre et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour, même pour une seule nuit. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions, comme le sèche-cheveux, les produits de douche et les snacks disponibles sur place (moyennant un supplément bien sûr) Le petit-déjeuner était également inclus, avec plusieurs choix proposés, le tout pour un tarif très raisonnable. Une excellente adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Je recommande à 100%. Nous avons adoré cet établissement, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. L’hôte est très gentil et prépare des petits déjeuners très bons. L’emplacement est un vrai plus, face aux rizières et à côté de très bons restaurants

Wonderful experience in Sidemen! The accommodation is very clean, with large and comfortable rooms, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The bathroom is beautiful and well-equipped. The view of the volcano is truly magical. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast is delicious, and the location is peaceful while still close to great restaurants. I would happily come back!

Here is pure peace. Waking up to the view of Mount Agung, with nothing but the sound of nature around… it feels like a different world. The atmosphere is calm, slow, and deeply relaxing - exactly what you come to Sidemen for. Everything about this place just lets you disconnect and truly enjoy the moment. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen. Sauberes und modernes Zimmer.

Ich hätte mir etwas mehr Privatsphäre gewünscht wenn man draussen sitzt. Man sitzt praktisch direkt neben den Leuten des anderen Zimmers, ich habe mich dabei als Alleinreisende etwas unwohl gefühlt. Vielleicht kann man einen Sichtschutz installieren.

Owner needed to be more proactive and communicate better about things like breakfast - whether it was going to be made or not.

You can see the Agung when there is no cloud，the location is very good，we enjoyed the mountain view and the local village， we had a wonderful new year in babakan.

Het uitzicht is echt fenomenaal. De locatie is goed, in het centrum, maar toch rustig en op loopafstand van veel leuke restaurantjes. De kamer is schoon, het bed is fijn en de airco werkt goed. Het ontbijt is prima. Goede prijs.

Chambre très spacieuse et propre avec tout le nécessaire. Personnel très agréable qui offre plusieurs activités/ location/ taxi tour. Toutes les chambres ont de grandes baies vitrées qui donnent sur le jardin bien fleuri et le Mont Angung si le temps le permet. Tout est à proximité en scooter. C'était parfait!

Petit déjeuner peut être un peu light mais maison :)

Allereerst het uitzicht (op een heldere dag) is fantastisch op vulkaan Agung! En de familie die de accommodatie runt is ontzettend vrolijk en behulpzaam. Je voelt je er meteen thuis. Je zit op loopafstand van meerdere restaurants/warungs (1min lopen ben je bij 3 warungs)). En in een half uurtje loop je naar de rijstvelden. Je kan via the Babakan ook een rijstveld tour boeken of een taxi nemen. Ze bieden ook andere activiteiten aan. Ik heb zelf de kookcursus en een tour door oost Bali gedaan. Sla vooral de Gemblemg waterval niet over! Ik kan het iedereen aanraden! In het dorp heb ik mijn kleding laten wassen en ook hier kon ik naar toe lopen. De kamer (er zijn er 4) is heel netjes, een lekker groot bed en een nette schone badkamer. Er is een klein koelkastje met wat drinken en er zijn wat snacks. Ze maken de kamer elke dag schoon. Het ontbijt is super lekker en er is ruime keuze.

Dit is natuurlijk persoonlijk; voor mij was het fijn geweest als er tussen het terras van mij en de buren iets van een kleine afscheiding had gezeten voor iets meer privacy.

This small B&B is run by a very helpful father & son team. They try their best to respond to any requests from guests. Water temperature for showers is good throughout the day. Wifi also works, and the room is quite large, and has comfy beds. The views of Mount Agung are stunning.

With very simple renovations, that can be done in one day, the place can be excellent. a) Install simple wall shelves in the bedroom, so guests have more places to store their things. Right now, there's not enough space. b) Ditto for the bathroom, place more hooks and shelves to make guests' bathing experience easier. Replace any mouldy chair cushions on the balcony - actually, they are not needed, and just the wooden chairs is fine for most guests. For breakfast, suggest getting a specialised cook as even simple dishes like nasi goreng should be done well. Overall, Babakan is still a very peaceful stay, and excellent value for money in Sidemen.

Große Zimmer und ein großes, sauberes Bad. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits von der Straße, daher ist es ruhiger. Schöner Blick auf den Vulkan.

Een heerlijke plek aan de rand van het dorp. Vanaf het terras heb je een prachtig uitzicht. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk, het ontbijt is heerlijk en ze regelen alles heel goed (excursie, chauffeur, etc.) We kregen bij ons vroege vertrek zelfs een ontbijtpakketje mee.

Beautiful hotel in the rice fields in Sidemen, we really loved staying here. The room was clean and furnished nicely. We loved waking up every morning and having breakfast on our patio overlooking the rice field. Very close to restaurants and shopping in Sidemen as well so the location was also convenient. The owner helped us book our taxi for our next location as well!

Having stayed here a few times, it’s starting to look and feel “tired”. Bathroom needs re grouting, and chipped tiles on the bedroom floor really need changing after this amount of time.

1. Very clean and the room was very spacious 2. Great location in Sidemen, walkable to what we needed to get to and good taxi/ transport nearby. Felt very safe for couples or single travellers. Perfect for a short 2 day stay. 3. Welcoming host who made delicious breakfast included in the price.

The staff are friendly and there was enough information provided about things to do in the area and the prices. The rooms were cleaned every day of my stay. The rooms have an amazing view of Mount Agung.

For me, there was nothing to dislike.

Un lugar increíble, muy tranquilo y con unas vistas maravillosas. El desayuno muy bueno y te lo llevan a la terraza de la habitación. Tienen actividades para hacer, nosotras contratamos el treking por las terrazas de arroz y fue maravilloso. El personal es muy amable y la ubicación es muy buena, a escasos minutos caminando de restaurantes y bares para cenar/comer. Volvería sin dudarlo.

La struttura è particolare, molto bella e curatissima, oltre la vetrata della camera si apre una vista sulle risaie e sulle colline, veramente affascinante, ricollega lo spirito alla natura. Possibilità di affittare i motorini o di noleggiare taxi. Il wi-fi funziona egregiamente. Il proprietario è gentile e disponibile. A pochi metri diversi ristoranti per tutti i gusti e per tutte le tasche. A Bali è uno dei posti che ci è piaciuto di più.

Gorgeous accommodation, very clean and spacious, with the most amazing views from the room & a lovely breakfast each morning! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We booked a cooking class, rice paddy trek, and scooter rental through the accommodation. All were very reasonably priced, and everyone was always happy to help! Location was good too, quiet and peaceful but very close to lots of tasty warungs, spas, a few shops also. Perfect place to relax and reset for a few days, we would love to stay here again! :)

Family trip. This is the most amazing place in Sideman with ninterrupted views of Mount Agung and rice fields, breathtaking, out of this world, calm and peaceful. This is a small family run place, Gede and his family run this place and were amazing and were super helpful! Well located for shops and restaurants, rooms were spacious and the breakfast was amazing.

Beautiful view from the bungalow, sunrise over rice fields, and Mt Agung. Walking distance to rice terraces, local market, Warungs. So peaceful. Nice thick towels and comfortable mattress. Staff are so kind and helpful.
