Hotel Alegria

Hotel very good location.Clean and tidy.

Room didn't appear to be full-sized triple room, more like a double with an extra bed squeezed in making bit cramped. There were no bedside drawer sets for our clothes. Previously we have always able to share and pay for the hotel costs on an individual basis but the owner/manageress insisted would only take 1 card. Luckily one of us was able to cover the full costs. We had not been informed this was the case prior to booking.

Great location, easy to find, very clean and comfortable attractive hotel. Good breakfast and very friendly owner.

We liked everything

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a view/access to the beautiful walled garden. The bathrooms were modern and the classic decor was elegant and tasteful throughout the hotel. Staff were very obliging and I would definitely stay here again. It is a 3 minute walk to the main Market Square with plenty of dining and shopping options including two mini supermarkets.

If booking for a person with mobility issues, specify in advance. There are accesible rooms on the ground floor, accesible entrances, a lift to upper floors although some upper floor rooms are accesible via steps, dpeending on room allocation. Ms De Muynk, our hostess, was very considerate and made our stay very comfortable.

The property was in the heart of town and provided access to all the major things to see and do. Veronique Was an excellent host and the room was good size and updated.

Lage des Hotels ... Ausstattung des Zimmers ... Spitzen Frühstück in zauberhaftem Ambiente

Wonderful boutique hotel, wonderful host. Great location.

Nothing to report.

Eigenlijk alles.

Posizione fantastica Gusto nell’ arredamento è tutto curato nei dettagli

Locatie!

N.v.t.

Ontbijt buiten was zeer aangenaam.

Location, cleanliness, and friendly hostess

I liked everything

Calm, clean, comfortable and location was great.

Liked it all.

Kn

The breakfast was very good and the location great. One of the best.

The difference on the price, I do not remember reading about city taxes when I booked

Lokacija za 10, u centru starog grada i uz stanicu CentrumShuttle. Odličan i raznovrstan doručak. Vrt u kojem možete doručkovati. Sve preporuke!.

De locatie was top. Om de hoek parkeergarage €16 per dag. De kamer was knus en schoon. De gastvrouw heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt super.

Brilliant location. Easy to walk to from the station and easy to walk from the hotel to everywhere we wanted to visit. Very comfortable and clean room. Lovely breakfast with bonus of being able able to eat it outside in the garden. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing really. Better tea and coffee selection in the room and shampoo and conditioner would have been nice but basic drink facilities and toiletries were still good.

Schoon, vriendelijke gastvrouw, locatie perfect

Iets kleine kamer.

Beautiful and family owned. Favorite place we stayed our entire trip. The owner really took pride in the hotel and was super nice.

Nothing not to like

Great style, spacious room and bathroom, quiet, good location very central.

The breakfast was excellent

The elevator broke on our second day and we had to carry our bags down a flight of stairs. I have to think that this was an unexpected problem.

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Brugges with an excellent host. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and there is an elevator.

It lacked AC. We happened to be there during a heat wave and a fan was not sufficient. The furniture in the very gracious and inviting garden could be more comfortable.

Am frühstück hat nichts gefehlt. Personal sehr aufmerksam.

So many things to like. Location, cleanliness, parking garage 100m away, staff, towels….i loved it all. The owner was sweet, helpful and such a kind person. The room was very clean and I loved the smell of the towels. The breakfast is nice and quaint and the seating areas very abundant. I stopped before check in to ask directions to parking and it was literally right around the corner. It was only 17euro for 24hrs which I find excellent while being so close to the tourist area. I can’t think of anything to mention that would seem negative as I thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Nothing bad to say.

Bra men lite lätt rörig frukost.

Egentligen inget.

Hotelli sopi meille erinomaisesti; rauhallinen, viihtyisä, kaunis paikka, jossa sai rauhoittua, rentoutua ja levätä hyvin. Huone oli kaunis ja toimiva 3 hengelle. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja terveellinen. Emäntä tarjoili tuoremehut pöytiin. Aamiaisen sai nauttia myös puutarhassa. Sijainti oli mainio, vanhassa kaupungissa. Emäntä oli ystävällinen.

L'emplacement, la propreté

Location was really good, five minutes walk from the city center, which then led to the other sights of the city. The hotel is lovely, and our host was very knowledgeable about the sights and gave us a thorough introduction to the city - following her advice we've really enjoyed the city. Our room was very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice, the prepared cold cuts changed every day, so it was good to have some variety. The little garden off the breakfast area was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was a bit difficult to find/open the entrance (either one).

Zentrale Lage, sehr freundliche Betreuung

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, just a 3-4 minute walk to Markt Square and the bus stop. You can easily reach the hotel from Bruges train station using the De Lijn bus. The lady running the hotel was very helpful, polite, and welcoming. She took the time to show us the city map and explain the best places to visit when we arrived. Our room was spacious, clean, bright, and comfortable. There was a kettle and small coffee packets. Having two sinks in the bathroom area was a very convenient detail, and the bathroom itself was quite large. Having plenty of power outlets in the room made it easy to charge our devices. The breakfast and the breakfast area were enough, but not perfect. There was fresh orange juice, boiled eggs, and a coffee machine with different options. Since it's a 3-star hotel, it was acceptable as it was; perhaps a 4-star hotel would have omelet options. Overall, with its great location, comfortable rooms, and nice hospitality, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend it to others visiting Bruges.

There was no AC in the room, which I hadn't checked during booking. However, a fan was available. Since we were out during the day and the weather wasn't too hot at the end of May, sleeping with the fan at night was fine. Another minor issue was that two bottles of water were only available on the first day and not replenished, but we didn't mind.

Prácticamente Todo

The location was excellent and close to the old city centre. The hotel was modern, clean and the room was quite large and well appointed for European standards. Also, the courtyard was a beautiful location for breakfast and the breakfast was excellent.

During our stay, the weather was quite hot and the lack of air conditioning made the room somewhat uncomfortable at times. There was a very good fan in the room which helped alleviate the heat but was not a substitute for air conditioning.

Kamer was heel schoon. Fijn ontbijtje.

Everything! Decor, ambiance, style, comfort, location, breakfast, beautiful room & bath. Owner/ manager absolutely delightful and so helpful. One of our best hotel stays ever.

Location! Totally convenient centre of the city Walking distance to everything :)

It was really hot the week we stayed, hard not to open the windows , but loud noise with bunch of cars driving right in front of hotel all night so we needed earplugs to sleep
