We had a wonderful vacation at this cozy guesthouse. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The food including the freshly caught fish was absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean and cozy, equipped with everything we needed, including a good shower and Wi-Fi; we could also borrow swim fins for free. We were very pleased with our stay and would love to come here again!

С самого момента приезда мы чувствовали себя как дома. Кенду, прекрасный местный остров с дружелюбными жителями, красивым пляжем и отличным снорклингом прямо у берега. Это идеальное место, чтобы познакомиться с настоящими Мальдивами. Очень рекомендуем это место и уже с нетерпением ждём возможности вернуться снова!

Lovely little guesthouse on beautiful Kendhoo island. Everything worked well, from speedboat transfer from Male to great excursions. All staff were friendly and helpful. The tourist beach, 5 minutes walk from guesthouse, has an excellent reef - we saw 4 turtles and 1000s of fish. Staying a few days on Kendhoo is a great way to experience Maldivian life.

Замечательно отдохнули в Dhoani Guesthouse! Это небольшой гостевой дом, в комнате есть всё необходимое, включая пляжные полотенца. Чистоту на территории поддерживают ежедневно, уборка в номере - раз в несколько дней. Питьевая вода есть в неограниченном количестве. Очень вкусная еда и гигантские порции! У нас был завтрак и ужин, прекрасно обходились без обеда :) Команда гостевого дома очень стараются сделать отдых максимально приятным, и у них это отлично получается. В гостевом доме можно бесплатно взять маски, трубки и ласты. До бикини пляжа идти минут 5, пляж длинный и довольно пустынный. Невероятно красивый домашний риф! Видели черепах :) Дополнительно в гостевом доме брали экскурсии на снорклинг с черепахами и пикник на необитаемом острове - остались довольны обеими, незабываемый опыт!

Это не касается гостевого дома и организации экскурсии, но за необитаемом острове, к сожалению, очень много мусора, который никто не убирает. Как объяснили местные, остров не относится к "муниципалитету" Кенду, и поэтому за ним никто не следит, но картинка, конечно, довольно печальная.

Мы выбрали остров Кенду по рекомендациям хорошего домашнего рифа и именно этого гестхауса, и не ошиблись. В Dhoani созданы все условия для отличного отдыха, мы чувствовали заботу и внимание с первого дня. Очень удобно реализована коммуникация через вотсап, там заказываешь блюда из меню, время прихода на завтрак и ужин, выбираешь экскурсии, задаешь вопросы и получаешь оперативную помощь. Остров небольшой, до пляжа идти недалеко, значительная территория пляжа находится в роще деревьев, и всегда можно найти комфортное место, чтобы не обгореть под солнцем. Риф шикарный, каждый день плавали с черепахами, после Египта очень много увидела новых видов рыбок, актиний с рыбками немо. Стенка рифа находится близко от берега и доступна для плавания даже новичку. Экскурсии супер, мы ездили на рыбалку на закате, также нас возили по разным локациям на снорклинг, а под конец отдыха мы феерически поплавали рядом со стаями дельфинов. На мант не получилось посмотреть, сезон их пребывания в заповеднике приходится ближе к осени. Советую брять полупансион, кафе на острове практически нет, а ужины в Dhoani разнообразные и очень сытные, бывало даже неудобно, если не мог все съесть. Кормят в холле 2 этажа, готовят ко времени , которое ты обозначил при заказе. Там же в холодильнике можно брать питьевую воду в стеклянных бутылках, сколько нужно. В номере мы заваривали себе чай и кофе. Из меню понравились местная рыба барбекю, филе тунца, фиш энд чипс, паста, а к основному блюду еще выбираешь салата большую миску, и десерт. На завтрак любили брать mashuni (традиционную закуску с тунцом и лепешками типа блинчиков масуни), всегда подают тарелочку фруктов. В гесте ходят без обуви, уличные шлепки оставляют на крыльце, это очень мило. Но если вам принципиально быть в тапочках, захватите домашние с собой.

Не было вопросов, которые не получилось решить. Номера не большие, но в нашем для двоих места было достаточно. В меню не приложено фото блюд, локальные блюда не очень понятны по описанию, но можно пообщаться с соседями , спросить рекомендации у персонала.

Parfois un peu déçus des repas comme le poisson local trop sec. Communication via whatsapp très pratique mais on perd en authenticité et on préfèrerait pouvoir parler avec le personnel de vive voix par moments.

Es war ein rundum gelungener und wunderschöner Aufenthalt auf Kendhoo und vor allem im Dohani Guesthouse. Das gesamte Personal rund um Hida war unglaublich freundlich, liebenswert und hilfsbereit - sie haben einem stets das Gefühl vermittelt willkommen zu sein! Hervorragendes Essen - vor allem auch einheimisch! Die angebotenen Ausflüge sind für maledivische Verhältnisse sehr preiswert und lohnen sich auf jeden Fall - sehr empfehlenswert. INFO: Man muss sich einfach darüber bewusst sein bzw. vorher recherchieren, dass es sich bei Kendhoo um eine Einheimischeninsel handelt, auf welcher die jeweiligen Gesetze bzw. die Religion akzeptiert werden muss. Wir waren uns dessen bewusst und haben die Tage daher zu 100% genossen! Die Einheimischen sind ebenfalls sehr nett und sind unserer Meinung nach sehr aufgeschlossen für Touristen. Nochmals vielen lieben Dank an das familiäre und liebevolle Dhoani-Team!!!

Das Essen in diesem Hotel war sehr gut. Wir würden empfehlen es mit Halbpension zu buchen, man kann die Gerichte auch vor Ort bestellen, was aber etwas teurer ist. Es gibt keine Restaurants auf der Insel

Sie möchten, dass man in USD bezahlt. Wir hatten aber schon MVR abgehoben und der Wechselkurs war sehr schlecht. Bezahlt am besten mit Karte.

We had an excellent 17 nights in Dhoani. Everything was perfect. The guesthouse is very close to the bikini beach and the local shops. About 5 -10 mins walk to each direction. The staffs were extremely helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Hida for looking after us. The manta ray excursion was superb. The snorkelling off the beach was already very good with plenty to see. We saw a few turtles and eagle ray snorkelling in front of the bikini beach. In the lagoon( to the left of bikini beach) we saw lots of moray eels, but you have to be fully dressed to swim in the lagoon.

Очень классный выбор экскурсий, я половину времени провела на них (два необитаемых острова, манты, дневной и ночной снорклинг)- ребята-гиды замечательные и очень заботятся о гостях. Система заказа через чат очень удобна - предзаказ питания по меню, оперативная информация о трансфере, экскурсиях. Еда отличная (особенно понравился раздел локальной кухни и рифовая рыба в различных маринадах). Один из лучших мальдивских гестхаузов в моем опыте, с удовольствием вернусь! Домашний риф отличный, для активных туристов остров идеален.

Гостевой дом управляется замечательными местными жителями, которые стремятся сделать ваше пребывание максимально приятным. Они не просто обычные люди, а семья и друзья в сплоченном сообществе, которые искренне заботятся об услугах, которые они предоставляют. Гостевой дом и прекрасные люди, которые им управляют, должны получать заслуженное признание. На протяжении всего моего пребывания я постоянно общалась с хозяйкой через WhatsApp, если мне нужно было больше солнцезащитного крема, хотелось поужинать пораньше или организовать поездку на сноркелинг и покататься на лодке, она немедленно отвечала и неизменно делала все возможное. Гостевой дом расположен на небольшом острове с удивительным коралловым рифом, идеально подходящим для снорклинга, и сплоченным сообществом местных жителей, живущих своей повседневной жизнью. Остров полностью безопасен, а местные жители приветливы и доброжелательны. В гесте было чисто и очень уютно. Все номера оснащены кондиционером и электрическим чайником с выбором кофе и чая, которые вы можете приготовить в своей комнате. Ресторан на втором этаже с балконом. Пляж находится всего в нескольких сотнях метров от геста. На пляже 3-4 человека. Риф самый лучший, много живых кораллов. Выезжали на экскурсии - ночной снорклинг - великолепный незабываемый опыт на всю жизнь!! С хозяйкой Хийдой ездили искать мант, снорклить с черепахами и на великолепный риф между островами, я там увидела все виды кораллов! Замечательно было плыть с гидом за руку посреди океана! Народу на экскурсии было не много, не то что на других островах! Спасибо Хийде и работникам геста за отзывчивость. Когда из за ветра отменили транспорт, они нашли подходящую лодку в аэропорт Дараванду, чтобы мы успели на рейс в Мале, сделали все от них зависящее, чтобы у нас не было никаких забот!

Очень чистый и красивый гостевой дом . Нас встретили сразу в аэропорте и проводили до гостевого дома . Там нас встретили с напитками и холодными полотенцами , где рассказали все про остров , экскурсии и проживание . В номерах проводилась уборка . Все было просто супер . Очень вежливый и дружелюбный персонал. Однозначно рекомендую . Вернемся еще .

The Dhoani was absolutely beautiful we ended up staying in the boutique but it was only round the corner the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Hida was very accommodating always helpful if we needed anything, we had a wonderful stay and hopefully one day we will be able to visit again.

Very lovely and beautiful guesthouse only a few minutes away from the bikini beach. Hida and her family are more than friendly and welcoming hosts who make you feel staying at a friend's place. They care about everything and are always more than willing to help. You can do excursions and different activities directly with them. Hida's very friendly staff cooks the most delicious and amazing food. We would love to come back!

Hida was the perfect host. She made us feel so welcome, even though we weren’t too happy on the first day. We had expected the island to offer a bit more, but after adjusting to the peace and quiet we had the most relaxing time ever. The guesthouse itself was lovely, very clean, and gave us a real feeling of being at home. We only ate at the guesthouse, as there weren’t any other options. The food was always delicious and the service outstanding. The beds were very comfortable, and the AC in the rooms worked perfectly. We didn’t join any of the excursions, apart from snorkeling along the house reef. For us, it would have been helpful to know that the corner stores accept credit cards and that there is an ATM on the island. There was no need at all to exchange USD into MVR. We can’t thank Hida enough for being so kind, friendly, and open, and for making our 5-day stay as good as possible. Thanks also for the coffee recommendation in Malé – we really loved the coffee!

Hida was great host, she was so nice and helpful. The food was delicious, we really recommend eating at their restaurant cause it was top tier. :) the rooms were nice and cosy, the atmosphere was great. All of her staff was helpful and nice and took care of us really well. The accommodation was close to the beach, the beach is so beautiful, really well equipped (net hammocks and stuff like that)... also they offer great trips for affordable prices. Overall it was great experience. Thank you :)

The guesthouse has everything you need! It felt like our own local paradise away from everyone else, and we had yummy meals and a comfy room to come home to at the end of a day full of adventure. The hosts were always smiling, attentive, and willing to do anything to make our stay even more special. We loved being on a small, local island, getting to see the Maldivian culture, not to mention the beautiful beach, nearby island, and amazing house reef.

We had such a great time here! The hotel is very clean, and the room service was always quick and helpful. Everyone at the guesthouse was super friendly. A big thx to Hidha, she was amazing and always available whenever we needed something 💛 The food was honestly the best we’ve ever had! So delicious and full of flavor. I'll really miss those meals! 🥹🤍 The internet worked well, the beach was beautiful, and we saw so many colorful fish while snorkeling. There were also many fun activities like swimming with whale sharks, fishing, and lunch on another island. This place felt really special compared to other islands. We got to enjoy unique trips like private getaways and sandbank picnics, which made our stay even more unforgettable. Thx for everything! Wishing the whole team lots of love! 🥰

Honestly nothing, it was perfect.

Well organised guesthouse, from pickup at the harbour, daily excursions to serving my favourite breakfast and truly Maldivian dinner. The room was comfy, with fridge, which I really liked.

Dhoani is a very nice hotel in a local island in fast development, kept absolutely clean and with exceptional staff. Beds are very comfortable. They all are very nice and keen to help for every possible need. The food is great and arranged in advance with the staff. The beach is 3 minutes away by walk, it looks very nice and the small island in front is reachable even by kayak.

The only thing I can say is that the noise insulation might be improved.

A fantastic guesthouse, rooms and common areas feels clean and fresh, the service is incredible, the food is excellent and the staff are lovely. I'm vegetarian and was concerned there may not be much I could eat, but I was sent a veggie menu and the kitchen staff are happy to alter meals to taste given enough time. We had a fab stay and hope to return.

Wonderful little guesthouse, cozy and clean on an interesting pretty, and tiny island. Everything and everyone is nice here: staff, environment, service, coziness, restaurant, and activities guesthouse staff offers. I Particularly liked how the staff was kind and attentive to the guests. Thank you for a wonderful few days of my life!

Our stay at Dhoani was too short, but we are already planning our return trip. The staff was very welcoming and answered any questions promptly. Instructions on where to find the speedboat were detailed, and we had no difficulty finding the right boat. The food was delicious and well-priced. We visited 3 local islands and the snorkelling excursions taken with Dhonai were superior. The house reef also has much to offer if you are interested in snorkeling. Staff at Dhoani also organised our travel to another local island by private speedboat at a good price which saved us 1-2 days of travel.

Some suggestions were made for improvement and these were recieved well by staff.

I loved how clean the property was. It’s also quiet and staff are very polite they don’t constantly knock or disturb you. The staff- especially Hudah and her husband, marvelous people!! Really made me comfortable and offered activities to do for entertainment and to keep busy.

The food was quite the let down for me. I understand that the kitchen staff did their best but it was quite cold and the chips were air fried despite asking for actual fried chips. Also the options are not in plenty and mostly local food that may take some getting used to. There’s a major difference between resort islands and local islands and I didn’t know this until I checked in. So please advising if you’re travelling for leisure to get a resort. Where you can make use of facilities like the pool & have buffet breakfast etc. also if you can chose the seaplane transfer and not the 2.5 hour speedboat transfer as you’re bound to get motion sick from how the boats are driven (this is not the hotel’s fault).

Very nice hotel, very clean room and efficient room service. Friendly people at the hotel. The food is really amazing, I have never tasted such delicious food! There are delicious dishes prepared by the best chefs from Sri Lanka. I will really miss these dishes and I will never forget the flavors!🥹🤍 The interten is working very well, the beach is very beautiful and the ocean is deep full of many colorful fishes. We were offered various impressive and fun activities, for example: swimming with whale sharks, fishing, visiting a resort, having lunch on another island. We spent very beautiful and unforgettable days on this island! Good luck and thank you for everything!☀️

Pleasant environment and people. The staff always try to be attentive. They always care for the well being of the customer. They have the best chef and the dishes are very tasty.

It felt home. - the island itself is small and has a beautiful beach, but my highlight was the days on a small private island organised by the staff, as well as the day trips they planned for me. - the food was freshly prepared every day and really exceptionally tasty. - A big thank you goes to the staff who organised both my arrival and departure, who responded to all my requests and made me feel comfortable and and made my stay perfect.

The receptionist forgot to give us a lunch box with breakfast despite we had asked for it. The boat from island was scheduled so nobody would have waited for him to bring it. We were hungry during the boat trip.

Kendhoo island is not really place for tourists. We havent seen any other guests on the island than 6 people from this guesthouse. We felt like intuders. Bikini beach close to waste burning place.

I'm on the point of departure with a heavy heart to leave the Kandhoo Island because I've spent a fantastic week at Dohani guesthause All the staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms are lovely and very clean, and the various activities on offer meant that our stay was never dull. This guesthouse was by far the highlight of my stay in Baa atoll! The staff make you feel like part of their family (thank you Husham) and give wonderful support in every need of your visit, like tours and transportation - everyone is very helpful and no request for assistance is ever a problem for them. Excellent food! Great chef and excellent price and quality ratio!!! Kendhoo is a cute little island - very colourful and well maintained. Locals are very friendly and welcoming. Loved my day trips to nearby picnic islands - a true castaway experience! Overall, a great experience - can't wait to come back again!

Quiet location, super friendly and attentive staff who take very good care of you. I have to mention Hushaam and team for their help during our stay. Our favourite was castaway picnic trips to nearby private islands where we had the island for ourself for most of the time. We went to manta snorkeling and saw a like 10 mantas and it was amazing to snorkel with them. Looking forward to travel soon again!

Dhoani Guesthouse is a fantastic accommodation, on an beautiful island. The staff is exceptional, they were friendly, open to any questions, helped us to get around, arranged our transport and took care of us. Plenty of interesting activities to chose from, all arranged by the Guesthouse. Both breakfast and dinner were extremely delicious, multiple options available. The locals on the island are kind and welcoming, everyone says hi when passing by. Our stay was simply perfect!

The bikini beach on the island gets rocky quite soon but the public beach is completely sandy.

All staff were very nice. Everything we agreed on in advance worked. The guesthouse is very trustworthy. It is an inhabited island, so you need to behave accordingly, but the people here are pleasant. There is a nice beach for everyone and also a bikini beach where, unfortunately, the entrance to the water is not ideal, so we rather used the public beach in surf clothes. The guesthouse has the equipment exactly as described, we liked the perfect high quality mattress. The island is not big and neither is the beach, so you need to bring about 100-300 USD extra with you and then you will enjoy really great experiences that they offer. Excursions to the surrounding islands, sandbank, dolphins, etc. are really great and you will enjoy the real Maldives for good price. We were satisfied and would love to come back. This one is located in a residential island. You can experience the everyday life of Maldivians. It close to lots of place to do excursions. Staffs are very nice and helpful. If you don’t want spend extra money on expensive resort island. Here is definitely a good choice for you to spend less and enjoy more.

I was filled with joy as I arrived at Kendhoo Island, and being there surpassed all my expectations. Little did I know that leaving this place would pose such a challenge. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that the Dhoani guesthouse and the island itself would make me feel like I had found a true home. I am sincerely grateful to the incredible individuals who took care of me and provided such wonderful company. Every minute spent with you is a cherished memory. I am truly impressed by your unwavering commitment to making each day unforgettable for others, regardless of the circumstances. What a great stay - luxury in a local environment. The rooms, the food, excursions and attentiveness of the staff is just amazing. If you would like to skip the artifical resort holiday with insane prices, you should check out this place. I would definitely stay here again.

Since this was the first time we visited a local island, I texted the guesthouse reservation team and asked a lot of questions. They were very responsive and helpful. The rooms was very clean and nice. We wanted to do excursions at a cheaper price than resorts and they offered us fishing trips at a very good price. We went for fishing everyday with local guides and combined the trip with a picnic to nearby islands. It was an amazing trip with good price for everything.

If you want to stay at the cozy, new, eco-friendly guest house at Kendhoo this is the place! The room is very comfortable, clean and beautiful, the service is perfect. The breakfast is very tasty, also the food we ordered from their menu for lunch and dinner was delicious. What we liked most was the local cuisines they offered. A big thanks to Hushaam! He paid really close attention to everything and went the extra mile to make sure we had the absolute best time. We were given a great briefing on the island, where is good to snorkel and swim, other restaurants and shops, and the activities on offer. Excursion offered is excellent and we were so thrilled to see turtles and dolphins on our excursion, a true once in a lifetime experience. A special thanks to Dhoani Maldives Team. The location of this island is perfect, we took a lot of photos of the island chain and it was amazing. Our intention for this trip was to snorkel around the islands and we're lucky to see lots of turtle, sharks, fishes etc. thanks to Mr.Hushaam and staffs. The place is very clean the food is reasonably good. We'll definitely be back. The trip was unforgettable good experience.

Mr.Hushaam was super friendly and helpful, there are great excursions for snorkeling, picnic trip, dolphin watching etc. The food was really tasty and we tried local cuisines throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and equipped with AC. We were a bit worried about the Wifi, but the connection and speed was very good and it's available throughout the building.

Sadly it was a bit rainy during our stay.

I like the people there they’re really amazing people more hospitality they let you know about everything you need in the island and the food was really amazing.

The location was nice and the beach was amazing

We always stay at a fancy resort, and only booked this place because this time we wanted to try local culture and stay in a local island. We LOVED our stay at Dhoani! Yameen and his team were just the loveliest people, we will definitely be returning. The island is just perfect and so quiet - you feel like you're on a truly deserted island. It was lovely to meet Maldivian people who are just the nicest people in the world.

Need more options on the restaurant menu like mocktails, etc.

Very friendly and hospitable staff we have ever met! Delicious food, clean room, great excursions! Very good contact with guesthouse before arrival.

We heard prayers from the mosque before dawn and it was quite a shock for us at the beggining. But after 1 night we got used to it.

Overall the trip was very good, it was easy to communicate. We reached island easily from speedboat. I was very happy since the rooms was very clean and it was comfortable. The food was great. Hushaam prepared excellent food as we requested.

There was no bikini beach in the island. The only possible place was nearby islands and sandbank.

Location is perfect. So many private islands and sandbanks. It was perfect for snorkeling. We went snorkeling like everyday during our stay. Reef also very healthy and nice with so many fishes and corals. A special thanks to Husham for guiding us everywhere. We enjoyed our stay and the rooms was very clean and comfortable too. Will visit again soon.

Great breakfast, only a few minutes walk to the beach. The nearby private islands was very beautiful and I spent most of the days in these island beaches. Good point for snorkeling too. I plan to come again soon with my family.

We loved this experience. Everything about this property was a 10/10. The rooms was very comfortable, the common areas was very clean spacious, and the food was excellent (breakfast is included, they also serve lunch and dinner for around $15 per person). What really sets this guest house apart is the staff, who are incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive.
