Hidden Heaven

The room is massive with a great balcony and very comfortable. The host is very lovely and helped us with everything to make our stay great! It is a short ride into the centre of Hiriketiya and a very peaceful area!

Nothing but WiFi signal could have been better.

The rooms were spacious and airy. Nice balcony. Air con and quiet. I slept do well the whole holiday. Shower was modern and powerful. The kitchen lounge area was well equipped and comfortable. The family were on hand for everything we needed. Organising trips, taxis/ tuk-tuks, washing clothes. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Communication with them/property was great from the start. They always responded quickly, reassuring me. Honestly we have nothing negative to write. Fabulous trip. Thank you to Hidden Heaven !

My room was really excelent: spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet and with a great shower. The girls from the staff were very nice and helpful. And the location was just perfect, not too close to the busy beach.

We had a pleasant stay at Hidden Heaven! The staff was so friendly and helpful with everything. They even have a private tuk tuk driver, who brings you everywhere you need to go. The room was super clean, they have a washing machine that‘s free to use for guests and AC‘s in the rooms.

Großes, sauberes, komfortables Zimmer mit sehr großen Bett. 2 Stationen mit dem Bus von Hiriketiya entfernt - easy machbar. Sehr cool war, dass man selbst waschen durfte, mit der Waschmaschine, die in der Lobby stand und das auch noch kostenfrei - wirklich top. Außerdem gab es große Koffer- bzw Backpack-Spinde zur Aufbewahrung des Gepäcks (bei zu früher Anreise oder wenn man nach Check-Out noch Zeit im Ort verbringen wollte). Es hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen, danke!

Fantastic family guesthouse in Dickwella. My daughter and I had a triple room with a balcony over looking the street. The room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The best shower pressure and internet speed since being in Sri Lanka. Great location, just a quick 5 min tuk tuk ride to the beach, shops, restaurants in Hiriketiya. The owners are just lovely, and very willing to help in any way. They have a resident tuk tuk and driver, charging reasonable rates and available for drop offs and pick ups. The room rate is very reasonable compared to other rooms/places we had previously stayed in around Sri Lanka. I would highly recommend Hidden Heaven Guest house to any person looking for accommodation in the Dickwella/Hiriketiya area.

I had an amazing stay at Hidden Heaven! The whole family who owns the place was so welcoming and kind, which truly made me feel at home. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. A special mention to the owner, who was kind enough to drop us late at night in his car when we couldn’t get a cab such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care for their guests. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Hidden Heaven to anyone looking for a warm and homely stay.

Looked clean and modern which is why we chose the place.

Booked an entire 2 bed apartment, arrived at midday and was told to come back in a few hrs. Returned to property and paid in full. Viewed room, and was told its a shared apartment with 4 beds not 2 and 3 woman staying there. Said I paid for an entire apartnent, was told it just shared access...via the ground floor, past our laounge, kitche abd bedrooms. No privacy and 1 door from street so ne securrity for my 2 small children. Had to pay for a taxi and new hotel. The owner insisted I cancel the booking and and pay $83 charge when the place was nit as described. Please be honest in future as sure its not the 1st time people have been conned.

Mooie grote kamer, van alle gemakken voorzien. Aansluitend een goed uitgeruste keuken die met slechts 1 andere kamer wordt gedeeld. Attente en uiterst vriendelijke medewerkers die altijd klaar staan.

De locatie maakt Tuk Tuk-gebruik onvermijdelijk. Winkeltje staat trouwens direct naast het appartementencomplex.

The accommodation was great. You can also rent a bike directly from the accommodation, which is very convenient. Everything is easily accessible. The staff were very kind and extremely helpful. I would definitely come back anytime:)

The triple room with balcony is a giant room which is quite value for money room. The staff were so polite. Nilwella and hiriketiya beach are also within 3km. There is a shop nearby from anyone can purchase food stuff. At each floor There are kitchen with dining area. The cutlery and the dining plates, shared fridge, personal fridge and the smart television for watching tv at netflix etc was everything fanstastic for stay. The balcony was huge with two leaning chairs and perfect area for breakfast with sunrise. Recommend everyone to stay there for at least 1 night in dickwella. They also welcomed with coconut water and wet towels. The host were more caretaker rather being only manager. She knows hindi as well. They have tuk tuk also for nilwella and hiriketiya beach which is nearby.

At night the area became secluded a lil bit.

We had the best stay here on our 4 week Sri Lanka travel! The room was huge, nice shower and bathroom! But most importantly what made our stay so so good was all the staff! They are lovely people and you feel geniuenly welcome. You can use the washing machine for free, which is such a bonus on a long travel and they even went above and beyond by letting us use their reception laptop when we were facing some issues with our flight. We actually wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately it was booked out already. We definitely will come back and we’re sending our warmest regards to the whole team! Thank you very much.

Super fint værelse, med en skøn balkon. Personalet var meget søde og hjælpsomme. Der var rent og pænt. De hjalp os med at leje en scooter. Der er et rigtig fint opholdsrum og køkken.

Nabo-ejendommen holdte bryllupsfester hver 2. Dag, med ekstremt højt musik, som først stoppede kl. 2 om natten. Ørepropper er et must. Det ligger lidt udenfor de turistede områder, så man skal enten tage en del Tuk tuk, eller have en scooter.

Hidden heaven var det perfekte overnattingsstedet for oss! Jentene i resepsjonen var veldig hyggelige og vi ble møtt med an kokosnøtt hver ved ankomst. Rommene var store og rene og beliggenheten var veldig bra for oss som liker å leie skuter for å komme oss rundt. Vi ville definitivt kommet tilbake! Du får ekstremt mye for pengene!

Everything was amazing! I slept so good, the kitchen and living space was spacious. 1000% clean and smelled nice there. I could rent a scooter via the property. Very cool that you have a washing machine and I enjoyed it that you are so fast to all nice beaches in the area. Also the two girls who are running the facility were always helping and smiling and assisting. Thanks for everything!

A lovely accommodation in Hiriketiya, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and easy and quick to communicate with via WhatsApp. The price was a really good deal for the quality we received.

Super gehad hier! Het is er modern en schoon! We zijn hier dan ook veel langer gebleven dan initieel gepland omdat het aan al onze wensen voldeed. En geloof mij: wij hebben heel wat accomodaties geprobeerd door heel Sri Lanka de afgelopen maand. Personeel super vriendelijk. Strand is op een tuktuk/scooter rit afstand of loop het in 20/25 min! Warm tot heet water! 10/10

Excedió gratamente nuestras expectativas: habitaciones nuevas, espaciosas y muy limpias, incluyendo el baño. El hotel incluye en cada planta una sala común, que compartes tan solo con otra habitación y cuenta con una cocina completa. El servicio de lavandería es gratuito y el personal súper amable (¡gracias Dilmi!). Nos encantó la ubicación porque está lo suficientemente cerca del centro de Hiriketiya sin todo el bullicio del pueblo, además tiene un driver de tuktuk disponible siempre para realizar los traslados (son 2 minutos de trayecto) por un pequeño cargo. Nosotros nos alojamos tan solo dos noches pero sin duda es el lugar perfecto para estancias más largas. El día del checkout nos permitieron dejar el equipaje en una taquilla, lo que nos permitió poder disfrutar del día completo en Hiriketiya. Sin duda no dudaríamos en volver para una estancia más larga.

Just a 2 minutes bike or tuk tuk ride away from hiriketiya beach, comfortable bed, clean room and a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were always there to help us with everything. They helped us with money exchange as well. So over all a great experience. Would love to stay again.

We hebben een ontzettend fijn appartement gehad – schoon, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De omgeving was heerlijk rustig, perfect om even helemaal tot rust te komen. De host was super vriendelijk en bescheiden, echt iemand die het verblijf bijzonder maakt. Onze zoon was jarig tijdens ons verblijf en tot onze verrassing kwam ze langs met een taart – zo’n persoonlijke touch zie je niet vaak! De service was uitstekend en snel; alles wat we nodig hadden werd direct geregeld. Wij raden dit appartement absoluut aan en komen graag nog eens terug!

We had the deluxe room and where very happy. Very nice bed and a lot of different lighting options for the room. Overall very nice design of the room. We really liked that the bathroom had a working ventilation- you unfortunately not see this not often in Sir Lanka. The staff is really friendly. They organize everything you need - scooters, taxis and so on. When we arrived we even got a coconut while waiting for our room. Even after checkout we were able to use a shower before taking the taxi.

You definitely need a scooter to get to Hiriketiya - about 5 min ride.

Zoals de naam zegt hidden heaven. Echt een prachtig verblijf. Bedden zijn zacht en comfortabel. Kamers ruim, schoon en erg netjes. Personeel super vriendelijk. Ligt iets verder van de hotspots af, maar maakt het wel een rustig verblijf. 3 minuten met de tuktuk en je bent in het centrum (of je loopt 20 minuten, ook prima te doen!) Wij zouden zeker weer komen, en hebben spijt dat we na 2 dagen Dickwella en dit verblijf hebben verruild voor Mirissa.

We had such a great stay here! The location was perfect close to everything but still peaceful. The people were so sweet and helpful, they really made us feel welcome. The place was super clean and spacious it honestly felt more like a whole apartment than just a hotel room. On the same day we arrived, we were able to rent a scooter right away, which was super easy and convenient. Because of that, the location turned out to be even more perfect for exploring the area. We would definitely recommend staying here it was an amazing experience!

Staff: This is a lovely family-run place, and everyone is absolutely wonderful — always smiling, kind, and ready to help with anything. Communication was super easy via WhatsApp: quick, friendly, and efficient. Room: Spacious and beautifully decorated — you can truly feel that everything was made with care and love. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The room also has both AC and a ceiling fan, a mini fridge for your snacks, a kettle for tea or coffee, and plenty of storage space for clothes and bags. Bathroom: Large, spotless, and well-equipped with everything you might need — toiletries (soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner), towels, a hair dryer, and great hot water pressure. Other: Super-fast Wi-Fi! Amenities: Guests have access to a fully equipped shared kitchen, a washing machine, and a lovely rooftop area.

Location: It’s not right in the Hiriketiya “city center,” but only a 5-minute tuk-tuk or motorbike ride - easy to get just at the gate of the property; or about a 30-minute walk to Hiriketiya Beach. Since we had our own tuk-tuk, this was no problem at all.

Beautifully designed place, super modern and well maintained. Sparkling clean. Kitchen was very well equipped. The staff and especially Dilmi were SO accommodating, friendly and supportive in any request. Highly recommend.

El último día nuestro driver para ir al aeropuerto no se presentó y nos llevaron al aeropuerto como favor, aún sin ser taxistas de profesión. Super agradecidas siempre!!!

Everything. Welcome drink on arrival. Beautiful rooms. We had a whole area to ourselves with a kitchen including washing up liquid. Use of washing machine for free. First time in 3 weeks we were supplied with a hand towel. They have worked very hard to ensure everything is perfect. Nothing was a problem. Very kind

The accommodation is the best we stayed in Sri Lanka! The owners couldn’t do enough for us. We were greeted with. Cold flannel and coconut which was really special and needed after a long journey from Ella! The rooms are absolutely stunning, spacious.

The location was great, as it was away from the main street. Of course the absolutely stunning view was heaven to wake up to, and I even saw a monkey on the balcony one morning. The owner was also a really kind and helpful guy.

Very hot shower, strong power and clean, spacious room. Bed is nice and the airco works well. The staff is incredibly friendly, they always come outside to greet you whenever you’re arriving or leaving. They also provide very nice towels for the beach. Wifi works great most of the time we used it, which is not standard in this country. Five minute drive from the beach.

If I really have to say something, it will be that they did not clean the room during our stay of three nights. We also did not ask for it, and I am pretty sure that if we would have asked, they would have immediately done it.

Modern apartments with good sized kitchens. Great service from the owner who was always available via WhatsApp with any questions or requests. Received a late checkout which was greatly appreciated. Located just a few minutes by Tuk Tuk to the stunning Hiriketiya.

The room was budget friendly and equipped with AC and a kitchen - we didn’t use this but it was a nice bonus to have the fridge and keep our water cool. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival with a cold towel and a king coconut which was lovely in the mid day heat.

The bed was uncomfortable and the room was in a basement with little natural light. The bathroom was outside which meant it was swarmed with bugs so was difficult to feel clean when using the bathroom. It was also quite noisy and we were woken up by banging every morning (I’m not sure if there was some work going on at the property but if there was we weren’t made aware!) We asked if we needed to pay on arrival which the host said no but during our final evening messaged us multiple times about paying despite us being out for dinner. We politely let them know we would pay in the morning when checking out as we weren’t at the property. By 8am the next morning we had received another message. It felt strange to me they didn’t just ask for payment on arrival if that’s what they prefer. The property is quite far from the beach and all the restaurants so relies on a tuktuk - not an issue for us just something to be aware of.

We really enjoyed staying in Hidden Heaven - we even extended our stay by 3 days. We were renting our own Tuktuk so the location was ideal as it was right on the main road with quick & easy access (5 min drive) to Hiriketiya and Kudawella (a great beginner surf spot) and was also only a 15 minute drive to Silent Beach in Tangalle. The room we stayed in was large, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with many outlets, Netflix, toiletries, tea & coffee, etc. Even on the main road the room is well sound proofed and quiet at night. The staff are very friendly & go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. We would recommend staying here (especially if you have your own Tuktuk as they have parking space that’s gated at night)

Hotel staff really friendly, and place is immaculate. Clean, spacious and modern. Couldn't fault it inside! Great value for money.

Wish staff had let us know it was cash payment only, we had to walk all the way into town and back to get to an ATM and miss our bus as this wasn't clear. Location isn't great, next time I'd choose to stay in Hiriketiya as the road to walk down to Mirissa barely has a path, isn't lit and is full of dogs barking at you the whole way, it felt dangerous. Also it isn't clear that when staying in the apartment, others will be walking through your apartment to get to theirs so the space doesn't feel very private and feels more like a hostel vibe.

Spacious apartment with everything equipped! You can tell the boss has invested a lot of time and money into this place! It is definitely a good price for the amount of space you get! Everything was perfect! It was our best accommodation in Sri Lanka, and we went to many!!

They do seem to prefer you to pay on arrival with cash so keep this in mind, when booking, the payment is taken once at the property.

We had a wonderful stay at Hidden Heaven! The warm welcome with coconut drinks and a refreshing hand towel was a lovely touch. The room was beautiful, with high-quality, solid furniture, and we stayed in the family room, which featured a spacious and stunning balcony. The second bed, however, is not really suitable for an adult. The towels and bed linens were of great quality, and we appreciated the availability of a kitchen for guest use. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient — a tuk-tuk ride away from the beach and local restaurants.
