Pool, and social atmosphere

Too cold

Loved the pool and the nature surrounding it made it feel like a small villa. The place was comfortable and clean.

Location near to the beach, friendly staff,

Website states good breakfast available, not so, no meals available, swimming pool was stagnant, no filtration happening, wouldn't risk swimming in it. There is a girls dorm that sat empty whilst girls were placed in the male dorm, why ?.

Location and the easy way to be able to rent a motor bike there and do laundry with a cost of 20K kilo.

They should improve in the cleaning and would be nice to have a kettle in the kitchen. Also it would be nice to have water station to be able to avoid buy water all the time.

J'ai été très déçue par l'état général de cet hôtel. Les vitres de mon bungalow étaient réparées avec du scotch. La pièce commune n'est pas nettoyée: mégots un peu partout, des restes de repas des autres touristes, une couche de poussière sur l'ensemble du mobilier...Mon bungalow n'a été nettoyé qu'une seule fois en 11 jours (pas de changement de draps, ni de serviettes). Pas possibilité de faire le ménage, car aucun équipement. Je ne conseille pas cet hébergement.

Ne vous fiez absolument pas à la note Booking, c’est une imposture totale. J’ai passé une semaine en dortoir et c’est l’une de mes pires expériences en Asie. Gérance et mauvaise foi : La gérante est extrêmement insistante et semble désorganisée (volontairement ?). Bien que nous ayons prolongé mon séjour ensemble plusieurs fois, elle venait me demander tous les jours si ce n'était pas mon jour de départ, remettant même en doute nos accords sur les nuits payées. Pour finir, elle a débarqué dans ma chambre une heure avant le check-out pour me demander de partir. Très désagréable. ​Sanitaires et Douches (Le cauchemar) : Les douches sont en plein air : préparez-vous à être dévoré par les moustiques. L’eau est pratiquement froide, il n'y a ni savon, ni serviette fournie. L'hygiène est inexistante : les sanitaires ne sont nettoyés qu'une fois tous les 4 ou 5 jours, les poubelles débordent et il n'y a presque jamais de papier toilette (présent dans 1 seul WC sur 4). ​Le Dortoir : La clim fonctionne pas trèsbie, il fait trop chaud pour moi. Les espaces de rangement n’ont été nettoyés qu’une fois en 7 jours. La literie est tachée et, plus grave encore, quelqu'un a trouvé une punaise de lit pendant mon séjour. Malgré un prétendu traitement, la propreté est honteuse. ​Extérieurs : Des mégots de cigarettes jonchent le sol partout. La piscine est mal entretenue. J'ai aussi testé la laundry : promise pour le soir, elle n'était absolument pas prête. Tarifs injustifiés : Elle n’hésite pas à augmenter ses prix du jour au lendemain de manière injustifiée. Pour un endroit aussi mal tenu, c’est du vol. Rien n'est clean, rien n'est pro. Évitez cet endroit à tout prix, vous trouverez bien mieux pour le même tarif ailleurs sur l’île

En voyant l'état des "bungalows " nous avons annulé la réservation à l'arrivée : bungalow sale , problème avec la climatisation , pas de branchement gaz alors que théoriquement on peut cuisiner .

It was a 25 min walk into the main area.

Firstly the owner made us pay full amount in cash upfront. The bungalow we got given was next to the pool but the pool was dirty full of leaves and dirt. The bungalow it self had seen better days. It had 2 massive windows with just netting that had holes in so all creatures could come in. The bedding was stained and had marks all over when we turned the blanket and pillow over. The towels were dirty full of all kinds of stains. The toilet seat looked like they have painted over mould, absolutely disgusting! I’ve seen better public toilets. You would probably get wetter in the rain than under that shower! It was terrible and no hot water. The A/C hardly worked. We had to ask the owners to clean the room and when we returned we noticed the bedding hadn’t changed left how we made it and then found mouse poo by our pillows! By this point we couldn’t stand it no more and found a better hotel down the road. Absolutely disgusting, would not recommend. We stayed 2 nights and spend all the time out of the hotel only returned to sleep. They have dogs running around that have fleas so wouldn’t touch them. Overall bad experience

J’avais le bangalow collé à la piscine , les toilettes donnaient sur la piscine et la fenêtre de la salle de bain ne ferme pas correctement donc l’intimité était moyen à ce sujet mais sinon super établissement . Faire réparer la fenêtre

Très calme, bien situé sur l’î’e, une piscine à disposition et de l’eau chaude dans les douches ! On peut difficilement mieux faire pour un lit en dortoir à ce prix!

Rien mais j'ameliorerai les transats au bord de la piscine, peut être là possibilité d'avoir accès à une cuisine commune pour les dortoirs.

Very nice place. We traveled with 2 children and felt very comfortable. Rooms are clean, and hosts provide kitchen staff if you need it. In general, Gust House is quite a nice, very good place close to the main street and restaurants. Have a swimming pool. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. They also provide laundry service and have motorbikes for rent.

The shower in the bathroom should be fixed. Sometimes we ran out of hot water. Looks like there is a limited amount of hot water and not enough for 2-3 people to have a shower.

Die Besitzerin ist super nett und fragt öfters ob man neue Handtücher braucht etc. Die Dorm Rooms und Sanitären Bereiche waren auch sauber.

Wenn man einen Strand zu Fuß erreichen will, wird man enttäuscht. Es gibt nur einen winzigen schmalen Strandabschnitt von einer Bar ohne liegen. Alle anderen Strände rund herum erreicht man nicht und sind privat Strände. Die lohnen sich aber sowieso nicht, weil alles voller Plastikmüll ist. Die Unterkunft selbst ist nett, aber von der Umgebung und dem Ort bin ich enttäuscht. Die ganze Insel ist eigentlich eine Enttäuschung. Die schöne Natur bauen sie zu mit hässlichen Freizeitparks und künstlichen Nachbauten von Italien, und die schöne Natur die über bleibt, lassen sie vermüllen. Lieber direkt nach Thailand

Tout est parfait ! L’hôte est aux petits soins, le cadre est exceptionnel, la nourriture très bonne. De plus le prix est très correct pour la qualité de la prestation. Aussi la dame fait l’effort de faire une chambre female only quand cela est possible, très appréciable !

Nous avons apprécié le calme, le matelas confortable et la gentillesse des gérants. La piscine est agréable mais il faudrait ajouter quelques transats.

Notre bungalow (le second) n'était pas rénové et a besoin d'un peu d'entretien comparé aux autres. Le coin cuisine est une bonne surprise mais pas très fonctionnel car pas d'ustensiles, dommage.

Pretty good hostel. The couple who run it are very nice and extremely helpful. The beds are comfortable and private. The washrooms are good and also clean but outside the room. The air conditioning is good although there is always a fight turning up and down. I just wish in hostels that the owners would take away the controls and set the temp at a comprise temperature for instance 22/23 degrees. The WiFi is reasonable although nothing special and does reach the dorm rooms well. They have a nice little pool area too. The owners are very. I’ve and very helpful

The biggest issue here is mosquitoes. They are pretty bad. In a private hostel room it's not an issue but when you have eight people constantly getting up in the night sometimes not closing the door properly (or even not bothering to close it) to use the outside toilets unfortunately it is. I realise it's beyond their control having a set up like this but honestly be aware and be prepared. Overall very good though

首先訂房時在評論區看到的分數很高 實在不明白 可能個人要求不同 房間房門很難關上 為何不做維修 房裡很多蚊 電視機看不到 通知了兩天都沒有人來跟進 浴室沒有花灑 沖涼想唔濕頭都唔得 沒有熱水 牙刷裏的牙膏只有一滴 少得可憐 仲係唧唔出 可否大方一些 每天要問他們取浴巾 浴巾也不太乾淨 游泳池冇人清潔 太污糟根本沒人游 性價比也不高 唯一優點是冷氣足夠 我之前在前少少一間叫X芳平住過 價錢環境好過這裏多多 包埋早餐 因為full了訂不到才選了這間 實在後悔 沒有下一次

Le logement est très joli, calme, tout en étant dans un quartier animé. Le personnel est souriant et toujours à l’écoute ! Le dortoir est confortable, spacieux et bien aménagé ! Point positif de la salle de bain (propre!) à l’extérieur du dortoir.

Location is very nice and above everything else Bonnie and the staff is just amazing. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and to help with anything that could arise.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I wanted to add on extra days, but they were booked so the fact that they were full with what I didn’t like, but Bonnie tried really hard to see if there was any cancellations there just happened not to be. I’ll come back for sure

Place is really nice and well maintained. Excellent location. Something hard to quantify: the vibe is the best - thanks to the host. If I ever return to Phu Quoc, I'll be there once again.

These are some minor details that are not a huge deal but still made a difference for me personally: - there seemed to be quite a lot of bugs and other unknown marks (?) around the inside. I know there's not really much you can do about it in this environment but to me it contributes to the feeling of cleanliness - I had a fridge but no cooktop to cook anything. Not sure if I'd asked, I did see one in another bungalow - very few utensils in the kitchen - the windows don't really close very well or keep out noise and if your bungalow neighbors are talking you will hear everything. That's a bit of a pity but again not much you can do about it

I miss the morning Breakfast because we go early in the morning and come late at night I hope in our next visit definitely I will

La posizione e la gentilezza della ragazza che gestisce la struttura.

Le casette sono da sistemare, nelle foto sembrano molto più nuove, nella zona comune/piscina non era molto in ordine...basterebbe poconper rendere tutto più gradevole. Forse non è un posto adatto ad una famiglia ma più a ragazzi giovani.
