Lovely place, clean and quiet..common area was also good. Just stayed for one night but staff was very sweet and helpful. Beds were comfortable and AC was working really well for the hot weather!! I got a free upgrade and had access to the kitchen..

Unfortunately I only got to enjoy one night here, but it's super cosy, everyone is so friendly and it's a great social place. When I'm back in the North-East, I'll be back here!

The staff is very supportive and the place is located in a very good location. The rooms are very good it's a budget friendly stay literally everything that one wants. It's a home like feeling here

The property is pretty decent for stay, located in residential area where everything is at a walking distance. Interiors are minimal and comfy. The owner Neep and staff Biplob, Kalyan are super kind and friendly which makes your stay worth while. The beds are comfy and rooms are clean. The food they serve is delicious and exactly home cooked meal..as my flight was super delayed on checkout date the owner was so kind to offer and extend my stay just like a family!

The only issue was bathroom ventilation which was addressed by staff.

I had one of the worst experience staying at a hostel here. This place has no vibes , the staff is very poor and unhygienic. There are alots of problems here , the staff doesn't speak English which is a huge problem being a traveller from south , he was very unhygienic chewing gutka all the time and spitting here and there at the property, I asked him for a coffee while he (ajeeth) was cleaning and he went ahead and made it without even washing hands first , there are bugs and cockroaches in the kitchen and the kitchen is so dirty , alot of mosquito and bugs in the room , molds on the wall and ceiling, and in the name of host they have a child who is not at all professionals more like a cleaning staff. This place has no vibe to itself at all.

The vibe and the aesthetic are good

The property is well maintained and compact. It’s around 1km from Assam zoo/ botanical garden. Easy access to cabs as well.

Decent location, pleasant common areas, friendly staff, basic dormitory setup in the room, no personal fan or light.

For the price paid i definitely expected the bathrooms and kitchen to be much cleaner.

Everything, the staff is trying their best to make your stay nice and comfortable. The hostel is clean and has a good location as well. Hot water available, good wifi network, kitchen available as well, and drinking water. I will definitely come back.

Extremely worth it for the price

Very clean and impressive facilities for India as a whole and especially for the northeast. The host neep is extremely nice , helpful and knowledgeable about the whole northeast. He will help you plan you whole trip and give insider local tips.

I had a wonderful stay at Hostello backpacker's! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and were always available to help with recommendations and any queries. The check-in process was smooth, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The dorm rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and personal lockers for security. The shared bathrooms were spotless, with hot water available at all times. I also appreciated the cozy common areas, which were perfect for socializing, working, or just unwinding after a long day. Though the location was a bit far from the railway stations but the vibes were unmatched. Overall, Hostello is a great budget-friendly option for solo travelers and backpackers. The friendly staff, clean facilities, and social atmosphere make it an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again!

Must stay if in guwahati

It was an experience here. The hostel is very clean and comfortable and it stands out comparing to all the hostels i have been to cause of the hospitality that it serves. They have really nice guest service as shivam bhaiya is available there 24/7 for you. Such a nice person to be with , he arranged a borlnfire for us and gathered all the guest together, we had great conversation sharing our stories and the add on was he offered free drinks to me and others. The service that he provides in a hostel is way better than alot of hotels i have been too. He served me hot food at 2 am in the morning, thank you so much for that as I was really very hungry. It's a must visit place and the best provided till now. Thank you so much. Next time it will be my treat shivam bhaiya.

The quiet location was perfect and shivam was kind and helpfull as all the other workers.

The price was a bit high (554 for bed for one night) but im greatful for their help and kindness

i was there just for one day stay but coudnt help but staying for 4 days. Shivam my man is one of the bestest person i have ever met in my life. went above and beyond to help me out even bieng a stranger , he felt more like a close friend or family than just a host. we had alot of fun here , hanging out the whole night , bonfire , drinks and crazy memories. the vibe of this place is very soothing and chiiling. and shivam takes care of all your needs and wants a therapist , would highly recommened it anybody and everybody. Hostello rocksss man.

Hostello is nice place to stay. We stayed here for 2 days and overall it was a good experience. You will feel very comfortable and welcomed here. The host Shivam is also great , he is always smiling and there to help you with everything makes sure that you are having fun and comfortable. He also arranged this darshan at kamakhya maa and a cruise dinner for us. So yea we had alot of fun here. All the best😊😊

It was a great experience staying here. The location is really nice , it's just behind the zoo so you can hear the fox howls , tiger roars and and even spot animals and birds from the terrace . The host Shivam has very good knowledge about the city and helps you with everything like where to go and eat and explore. It's very safe and peaceful. Everything is nice the staff , stay and especially the host. Highly recommend as you are in nature as well as in the city centre.

The hostel is very cozy and clean. It has very peaceful surrounding. The rooms and toilets are clean and maintained , the beds are comfortable. The host is very welcoming and humble he takes care of all your need , also a great advisor and can help you with everything for the northeast travel , from stays to food. I had a great time here with the host Shivam bhai and the other guest. Shivam bhai arranged a bonfire for us and also accompanied us.

the hostel is perfect for the perfect for the people travelling to northeast for the first time as the host shivam has all the ingredients and the recipe for the perfect trip trip for the northeast travel, he is really chilled out and humble. you will just just love the stay and his company. he will make sure that you have all the fun in the limited time of your stay at his place . its not 10 not 10 but 100 out of 10 . hostello its all thumbs up to you and you shivam

it was my first time staying in a hostel and no doubt Hostello didn't disappoint me. i was welcomed by the host Shiva , what a great guy. i was not sure about staying so i just came to check but after meeting the host it felt like home. the place has really good and positive energy surrounded by nature and Shiva with such personality and calming energy. everything is almost perfect at this place. would really recommend it to everyone coming to Guwahati. thank you Shivam for bieng so kind and giving me memorable night.

The hostel is located at the center of the city yet in the midst of nature. It's very peaceful, the beds are really nice and the food they serve is very homely. I have been to alot of good hostels but the best part about Hostello is the host Mr. Shivam. He is just something I found unique , the best host I have met till now. He is what we say this days 'Aura 1000'. I am a introvert by nature but he made me so comfortable. He brings so much of positive and calm energy to this place. Most humble , caring and passionate host I have ever met. He will make you feel like a family like you know him for years. I was here for one day but extended my stay for another to just chill and vine with him. He is just a Chill guy who has a great vibe. Thank you for making my stay so wonderful bhaiya. The place literally shares a wall with the State Zoo and you can have a view of animals of zoo from the terrace

The host is the warmest and hospitable guy. I felt immediately comfortable after reaching here after a tedious journey. The location is prime and everything from restaurants to shops are walkable. The facilities were good enough for a hostel. They also arranged bonfire etc for NYE. Thus place gave me a very memorable year end and to add to the vibes there is a kitty 🐱 you can play with. Thanks to your hospitality, will visit again next time I'm in Guwahati
