only small issue is that the parking inside the premises for a large vehicle may have some challenge , but the host is cooperative and made some decent alternate arrangement

Everything was absolutely clean & neat making it a very comfortable & peaceful place to stay. Anitha was a perfect host v warm & responsive. Wished we had more days to soak in the hospitality. We will definitely be back as it is close to the Ambalapughva station. Ideal location

It is clean, well maintained, fully furnished with a fridge, washing machine, drying racks, kitchen, water filter, air freshers, toiletries, tea/coffee kits, etc. I had booked two apartments on June 27, 2025. Each apartment has two big bedrooms, balcony, living room with fast WiFi, smart TV, couches and chairs and ACs. The rooms, bathrooms and beds were clean and fresh. The owner of the property lives just across the road and is readily available for any needs. They are a friendly couple and you feel at home. Ambalapuzha temple is walkable distance (800 meters) from the property. There are a few tattukadas (street eataries) nearby and Aaryas vegetarian restaurant about 500 meters from the property. You get full value and more for the price.
For under ₹3000 ($33) you get everything you hope for and more.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2024A great find in Ambalappuzha. What a wonderfully comfortable, spacious, organised and appointed apartment. From the excellent communication before we arrived, to the gracious welcome, to the support and advice given throughout our stay, to the warm farewell - everything exceeded our expectations. The unit has all you need to feel quite at home. It was spotlessly clean, a wonderful breeze keep the place cool and there is plenty of natural light. Location allows for easy access to the train station and easy walking to discover the local community and everything around. Then to add to this the host family were amazing, they gave us our space and privacy yet were always accessible to offer advice and share a warm smile. We do look forward to returning.

Owner also stays close by so quite easy to communicate if you need any clarification regarding location/ nearby shops etc. Liked the minimal gardening at the premises which kept property fresh. Rooms are quite spacious and kitchen and work area has all facilities. TV has been integrated with almost all OTT platforms and inbuilt speaker in hall adds good effect. Ambalapuzha temple is at a walkable distance. Almost all amenities are nearby; be it garment shops like Trends, salons, other retail stores etc. Extending Thanks to the property owner for the wonderful hospitality.

We were welcomed by the owner and his friendly wife but later introduced to the grandson whose English is very good. He was extremely helpful with all sorts of tips and we could ask anything, ie train time schedule, etc, which he helped with.
Everything was perfect in this beautiful, fully furnished apartment. Perhaps there could have been a knife amongst kitchen utensils .
