The stay was excellent and the employees on-site were very quick and proficient in delivering their services. They brought firewood when needed. Very happy with the newness, cleanliness and livability of the unit. Best of all, there were Kudu deer in the surrounding area, so we had many animal neighbors during our visit. That experience alone was perfect.

Outside the fireplace, there was no heat, so getting up in the morning to start the fire was a bit chilly, There were 30 steps to get to the unit, so carrying luggage (especially in the rain), was pretty tough. Other than those two things, the accommodations were terrific.

Die Natur, Glampinggefühl, für ein Zelt eine hervorragende Ausstattung, sehr gut funktionierende Dusche, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, wir hatten kaum Insekten im Zelt, die Heizdecken auf den Matratzen waren toll. Trotz nächtlicher 9 Grad haben wir im Bett nicht gefroren

Lovely host and stunningly beautifull place

The view was absolutely breathtaking. From morning until evening, we were surrounded by the most beautiful scenery and the sounds of so many different birds chirping. It was incredibly peaceful and made the whole stay feel truly special.

Het zwembad was gesloten, het was ook te koud om te zwemmen maar een verwarmd zwembad had fijn geweest.

Emplacement idyllique. Un vrai coin de paradis. Parfaitement équipé. Moment magique dans le Hot tube à regarder les étoiles. Idéalement placé à moins de 10 minutes en 4x4 ( véhicule le plus approprié) de l'entrée de Parc Addo.

Prachtige plek, 15 minuten van Addo Park, met Nyala’s om de tent. Veel luxe (hot tub!) en geweldig personeel! Wakker worden met 1000 vogels.

Het blijft een tent, dus houd ‘s avonds rekening met dat het snel afkoelt.

The tent is as described with hot tub, fireplace. Excellent beds. And lovely detail: The towels were folded into little elephants😍

Accès difficile pour une voiture standard mais faisable. Pour une prestation dite haut de gamme, le bois de chauffage pourrait être fourni.

The stay was incredible. Complete tranquility. The staff were amazing. Athi went above and beyond to assist us.

We'd really have to be digging deep to find something we didn't like, the only thing we could maybe mention is there is a rattling noise every now and then when the gas heater turns on I think - not sure what else it could be. But other than that 0 complaints.

Staff were incredible! So helpful and friendly and welcoming. The view and the tent itself! Clean, comfortable and everything you needed!

The way the tents are positioned means that you could hear conversations etc from other tents- as we were not a larger group it meant that at times it was quite noisey even with everyone respecting the low noise atmosphere

Beautiful setting

What an absolute pleasure this stay was. Athi is such a fantastic ambassador for Africamps and South Africa in general. The accommodation is clean, super comfortable and has everything you need to have a great time. It's superbly situated close to Addo Elephant National park. The grounds are beautiful and great for walking around. The resident Njalas is just the cherry on top.

The cost is high for an Eastern Cape budget but as I said it’s a spoil.

Close to Addo Elephant National Park. A clever take on the “glamping” model.

It rained heavily and some cars got bogged on the road out. Shared bathroom was noisy overnight. Only heating was a wood fire, and there is an additional cost for firewood.

Een bijzondere locatie gelegen midden tussen de bossen vlakbij ADDO. Heerlijk voorzien van alle comfort. Hottube is een heerlijk ontspanning na een volle dag in ADDO. Personeel vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Wakker worden met een ontwakend bos is een feest.

Un accueil et une attention absolument exceptionnels. Le site est magnifique. Tout est réuni pour passer un moment d’exception.

Hele mooie locatie, dicht bij Addo Elephant park. Uitzicht is fantastisch. De Braai en hottub zijn goed, de braai pakketten redelijk (worstje en kipspies zijn prima, de sirloin steak kan beter). Ontbijt pakket was ook goed. Je moet wel droog weer hebben om van de braai gebruik te kunnen maken, anders sta je in de regen te braaien. De accommodatie was schoon bij aankomst, wij vonden de bedden te hard, maar dat is onze mening natuurlijk, iemand anders kan dat heerlijk vinden. Douche was goed en warm. Goede prijs - kwaliteit verhouding. Tip: een heel goed restaurant (als je niet wil braaien) is een minuut of 15 rijden verder de berg op: Camp Figtree. Je moet wel een 4x4 hebben bij slecht weer, want de wegen ernaartoe zijn niet best. Bij ons was dat best nog wel een tricky ride (zware regenval en mist), maar het eten en de service was het meer dan waard (4 sterren hotel met 5 sterren restaurant)

Het weer op de tweede dag, ☔️ verder was eigenlijk alles heel goed.

Leider versucht man hier aufgrund die abgelegenen Lage zu Nutzen im den Gästen mit allen Mitteln das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen.

Loved the rustic style so suited the environment. Very comfy bed, lovely hot tub which we used as a cold dip!

Location absolutely stunning. As usual the place is spotless and well equipped.

Would suggest oiling the bathroom doors, they are unbelievably creaky when they move and the whole tent gets woken up when someone uses the bathroom in the night!

Das Zelt lag wirklich mitten in der Natur und hatte alles was man brauchte. Handtücher wurden ausreichend bereit gestellt und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der Addo Elephant Park liegt nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Auf dem eigenen Gelände begegnet man aber auch genug Tieren (Nyalas, Warzenschweinen, Affen).

Unsere Außenbeleuchtung vom Parkplatz zum Zelt hoch war leider defekt und es wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht geregelt. Eine Hängematte auf der Veranda wäre noch toll 😉

Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft, mitten im Grünen. Die Zelte sind riesig, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Hot Tub lädt nach einer Safari im nahe gelegenen Addo-Park (ca. 10Min entfernt) zum Baden ein, die Hängematte zum morgendlichen Entspannen und zur Tierbeobachtung. Der Frühstückskorb und Braai wurden- trotz recht später Anmeldung- für uns noch organisiert. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit!

Very nice accommodation we will back, and the tour with AfriCamps was fantastic, King Elvis was a phenomenal tour guide and I’d highly recommend the full day tour. The hot tub was nice, but more suited for a couple.

Booking for a group of 5 lads it was very small accommodation. I’d recommend 3/4 persons max

Ik had wel iets meer van het uitzicht verwacht. Het is niet wat ze voor doen komen op de foto's. Dit was voor ons wel echt een tegenvaller.

Für ein Zelt top und sehr komfortabel. Wir haben es sehr genossen in der Hängematte über den Bäumen zu liegen. Aber man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass es ein Zelt ist, wo trotz Fliegengitter Insekten wie große spinnen reinkommen.

The location was beautiful, hot tub on the deck was great.

Shampoo and conditioners in the shower would have been good and a bigger selection of snacks at the shop.

Die Nacht in der Natur zu verbringen, war einfach großartig und hat uns eine wunderbare Auszeit vom Alltag beschert. Die gesamte Unterkunft war extrem sauber und ordentlich, sodass wir den Aufenthalt von der ersten Minute an in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Die Nutzung des Hot Tubs unter freiem Himmel und des eigenen Grills war absolut super und bot pure Entspannung. Da wir praktischerweise das Frühstücks- und Braai-Paket im Voraus gebucht hatten, waren wir kulinarisch bestens versorgt und konnten das Erlebnis sorglos auskosten

die Kochuntensilien war schon sehr gebraucht und es gab keinen Fön.

The 8km gravel road

We had a wonderful stay! The tents are very nice and extremely comfortable, offering a perfect mix of nature and comfort. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The location is also excellent – very close to Addo National Park, which makes it ideal for early game drives. The gravel road leading to the accommodation is in very good condition. We would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again!

Tolles 2er Zelt, schön ruhig nur die Vögel zwitschern

Die Baskets für Frühstück und Braai sind okay. Aber wir sind dann doch lieber in den nahegelegenen Supermarkt und haben uns was besorgt. 1x waren wir im Molo Lolo essen, das war gut.

Whilst we arrived late this did not appear to be a problem. We were given the gate code and advised which tent was ours.

The WiFi was unreliable enough that we couldn’t use it.
